My name is Marie. No, I don't have a last name. It's been a while since I had a place I called home. I'm a full blooded American, yes. I'm about...twenty-two years old, I guess. I like to run, mountain climb and read books with my dog, Sam. He's a beautiful German Shepard, he's very nice, unless I command him otherwise. It's been about six months, give or take a few, since the world went to shit. Dead people, walking and eating whatever is alive. Nestled myself in this little cabin in the woods, it's comfortable....I'm starving though. [Dog whine] Don't worry buddy, I ain't gonna eat you. Poor guy, he's hungry too. Today's plan is- [Distant male voice: Sophia?!] What the hell? I guess today's plan changed...If I don't come back, it's cus whoever that was killed me...or I am never coming back to this cabin.
