@Noxx How is Hansel and Gretel and bad example? Sure the witches SOMETIMES look different, but their training in this world is basically the same context wise. So to use you own argument against you... "They were trained to hunt boiled, wart covered hag witches." Well we are trained to hunt whiny, egotistical, scaled ones. As well as subtle witches who connive and disguise themselves as normal folk to slip into the ranks of normal humans. So sure we don't look at them and see warts, boils, and bubbling cauldrons, but we see the subtle hints of magic and the guises that magic calls upon others.

In fact be greatful Draco doesn't roll up and actually takes an interest in her. He's been doing the whole witch hunting thing for so long that he'd probably be able to sniff her and smell her witchy-ness.

Yet all this is still besides the point. My statement is still true in that we are not all drunken bastards who are too stupid to tell rock from a loaf of bread as you've so colorfully claimed OOCly repeatedly.
Lusius Mathand

@13org@Bright_Ops

LUsius continued his fight, resisting the torrential anger trying to burst out from inside him. Yet still it was fading very slowly and when Shai spoke to him about standing still and that she was going to take away the magic in him he could only sigh internally. Not out of spite or anything, but that he couldn't sit still so her request was arbitrary. Regardless she was still able to lay her hand on him and he could keep his burden lessening, if only by a little. However, that was when the rage of the Burning Man seared her magically and Lusius could only watch as she recoiled in pain. He felt bad for her, that he hurt her as she was only trying to help him through his ordeal. But she didn't seem detered and when she returned with magical protection to drain his magical reserves the Burning Man took notice...

Feeling his strength being tapped and drained the Burning Man was furious. True, Shai wasn't taking nearly enough to ever be a problem to his great power, but that didn't mean he was going to be nice about it. After all his rage was eternal and now some stupid bitch was trying to steal from him! Well if she wanted his rage he'd give it to her...

Suddenly while Shai was draining the excess magic from Lusius a sudden and powerful surge erupted from Lusius right for Shai, it wasn't an attack, but it was just a willing rush of the Burning Man's rage magic right to her hands. So forceful was his "gift" that it would burn her cards and try furiously to shatter them, charging into her to hurt her. True with the amount he expended and through her protection it wouldn't even maim her, but it sure wouldn't feel good...

Yet after that was done, Lusius had enough control and the Burning Man was distracted on hurting Shai so he made his bid to take full control again, lashing out with his mind to subdue the Burning Man once again. Panting heavily from his vicious internal brawl with the devil Lusius went to his hands and knees, but then shortly got back up, clearly a changed man. Standing up he rubbed his head and then the pain and struggle of fighting was gone from him. Then in that same moment he went over to Shai, looking to not only thank her but also to help her with any harm he may or may not have involuntarily caused her.
@Noxx You keep calling Hunters drunken bastards, but that's not really what they are. Sure they drink, but it's mostly to either take an edge off or to forget the horrors that they deal with every day. We are not wild, drunken barbarians who's only quality is a burp and a fart. In fact most Hunters are actually easier to be defined by Huntsman or Rangers versus Barbarians or Savages.

If you've seen Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters, think that. Or in D&D terms think a Ranger.

Of which by the way we exist primarily to hunt down monsters and magic, so her being in that tavern USING magic even in tiny ways is REALLY dangerous as we're all trained to not only track and identify supernatural things, but also effectively take them down.
I'll be honest I'm waiting on something, but I'm not sure what... *Cough* help me *Cough* @13org
Trust me when I say, 'I fig-er-ed as much.' Believe you me I was busy many a day during my holidays... mostly due to fires... but that's besides the point. I was just trying to be a goof and say that I'm still loyal at the same time.
I do hope my post wasn't the cause of everybody suddenly stopping all their posting. I mean besides the a fore started collab post, but I don't count that because that was started before I made my... uh... arrival? Yeah I'll go with that word.

Anywho, I'm gonna stick and lurk around. I'm still very much enticed by this RP.
Did nobody else catch the Dragon Age reference?

Aiden watched as Steven went on his way, feeling somewhat bad for him in that he didn't just give him the stones, but he wouldn't go against his new friends, not over a few stones for a stranger he met only moments ago. So with their little group alone to talk about what is next on their little plan Aiden listened to both Novis and Roxy over their takes on things before the Fire Stone was tossed to him. Catching it in his hands he looks the thing over before nodding and pocketing it. Truthfully he didn't know what to do with it or when he'd use it, but to have something like that for a rainy day would sure be handy.

At that stage Nov started to make his way off for the road and Aiden could share his sentiment. They had their fun at teh dig site, but now it was time to move on, and really Aiden wanted to find a Pokemon Center fast so he could say hello to his new friend... In fact he would have to name him pretty soon. Yet maybe that should wait for him to be ok so that the little Larvitar could have a say in his new name.

Just as Aiden was about to step off he felt something bump into his leg, glancing down he saw the adorable little Growlithe running into his ankle. "That is absolutely adorable." he said but before he could give the little guy some attention he ran off to go and run into Roxy's legs. It was then made known of what was bothering him and Nov declared it for all. Everybody was hungry! This was a prime opportunity for him to whip out his mess kit and make up an amazing meal for everybody! When Roxy spoke up to him about a break he had only one thing to say, "I think that is a wonderful idea! I can cook a wonderous meal for everybody!" His excitement at the thought of making a meal for his new friends showing clearly.

Zorex was in the same boat and he was... well the best way to describe it would be freaking out. He was running and jumping all around, crying and growling in joy. Even going so far as to tackle hug Lucina.

So with the plan made Aiden nodded and with Zorex back on his feet running circles around him the two started to make for the rest stop, Aiden already pulling out pots, pans, and the tools needed to start a fire as well as manage food in it.
Lusius may go for the witch hunt, though I could honestly see him helping the guy from Dragon Age with his monster infestation.
Lusius Mathand

@13org@Bright_Ops@Superboy

As Lusius made it to the little triage station and started to recieve some attention he stopped getting worse. Mostly due in part of the magic emitting sun going away. That meant that the Burning Man wasn't stealing more magic from which to fuel himself off of, but that didn't mean that the magic he already stole wasn't still in him. He was still restless and that meant he was fighting to get out, which in turn meant Lusius was knelt down, clutching his head trying to steady himself enough to fight back properly.

For Draco pouring water over him, it really did nothing to help Lusius fight back the fires, but it would cool his burning skin a bit to make him easier to handle for later. At least until it evaporated and he started to burn again. As for his clothes they would unfortunately be soaked and hold onto that water for a lot longer than his exposed flesh.

When the doctor came running up Lusius paid him no mind, not that he wanted to ignore him, just that he'd much rather deal with his own problems before he tried to make new friends. What did bother him somewhat though was when he distracted Shai from fulfilling her promise to remove teh magic from him. He needed it to be gone so he could fight back and for it to go away naturally would take a substantially larger amount of time. If only he could expel the magic in a quick rush that wouldn't lead to him transforming into the Burning Man. But no matter what, it was an either or deal. Either he was Lusius Mathand, or he was the Burning Man which means he either had to get help, or he'd have to suffer until enough magic faded that he could function properly.
