Thought: A Hamilton-esque comedy-musical about the Russian Revolution, from Trotsky's point of view. Lenin would take a Washington-type role, the Tsar would be King George, and Stalin is Jefferson

@Ophidian How do you think I feel? I'm 40-odd years behind you, and that STILL holds true for me.

@AvanhelsingI've been waiting for @FantasyChic to post before doing anything. I dunno what's happened with that.
Name: Wilkdon Rumnaheim
Species: Miralukan
Gender: Male
Age: 54
Height: 6 feet
Weight: 160 pounds

Class: Non-Jedi Council member and Instructor

Position: Instructor and council member

Primary Strengths: Force Sight, Force Sense, and other awareness and interaction-based Force techniques

Appearance: Wilkdon's skin is loose and pale with age, and his hair and beard are a stark white. He stands slightly hunched, using his staff as means of support, and the blindfold covering his eye sockets is dirty with years of use and lack of replacement.

Weapons: Wilkdon's staff is a unique instrument crafted himself, to aid in his skills in the Force. Topped with a special Kyber crystal attuned specifically to his usage of Force awareness abilities, by enhancing the range of his force sense to give him an edge in combat. Wilkdon is trained to use his staff in combat in tandem with his abilities, and this gives him a bit of an edge against non-force sensitive opponents. Other than that he carries no weapons other than basic martial arts knowledge.

Skills/Abilities: As a master of the former Luka Sene, the native force using organization of the Miraluka, Wilkdon is an expert at Force Sense, Force Sight, and the majority of other awareness skills that utilize the Force. He holds knowledge of more "Dark Side" aligned knowledge as well, such as unwilling probing of a victim's mind, though he does not divulge that information easily, nor does he willingly use it very often. He is also a trained martial artist in both Staff and Unarmed combat, though his old age certainly slows him down. He is a skilled teacher as well, though some students express difficulty in keeping up with what they remark as an extraordinary pace for an older man. Wilkdon's age and abilities have given him insight into the workings of the galaxy, allowing him to perform greatly at the role of an adviser to the council.

Background: Born on the Miralukan homeworld of Alpheridies, Wilkdon showed remarkable talent with the force from a young age. His family, two farmers who laid claim to a decent mid-sized plantation, were fortunate enough to be able to send him to the local Luka Sene academy for training. This would help define his career path for what would be the rest of his life.

Wilkdon took to the schooling like a Corellian to a Freighter. By the time he was 13 years old, he was already one of the top students his branch of the Luka Sene had ever seen, and by 16 had already been transferred to the main academy in the capital. There he learned the more advanced techniques of the Miralukan usage of the Force, as well as the basics of resisting the tantalizing call of the Dark Side. Once he was of age, Wilkdon showed enough talent and skill to be inducted as one of the Sene Seekers.

From there, Wilkdon was instructed in the arts of combat, his favored techniques being the usage of the staff and his own body, supplemented by his Force abilities. Eventually, Wilkdon would become a full fledged member of the Sene Seekers, and begin his work in reconverting those of the Miraluka who had fallen to the Dark Side.

Wilkdon's career as a field agent was a success, with an almost flawless record of reconversion, and never being forced to end the life of a fallen member. Only one person was able to resist Wilkdon's abilities, and this memory is one he often thinks about to this day.

Narlusia was a female Miralukan who had fallen during an unsanctioned trip to Korriban. She had come into the possession of an ancient Sith warblade, which had corrupted her with the Dark Side energies of its former owner. Eventually Wilkdon and a small security team would confront her on Corellia, and a heated battle would ensue.

Wilkdon looked on in horror as Narlusia slew each member of the security team, leaving only her and Wilkdon standing. This was when Wilkdon knew he would have to capture her before he would ever be able to reconvert her. With deft speed, Wilkdon disabled the young woman, and took her back to the homeworld.

Within the academy of the Luka Sene, Wilkdon spent two months trying to bring back the true spirit of Narlusia, and free her from the corruption of the Dark Side. He would spend countless nights in the archives, studying all he could of the Dark Side, how it corrupts, and all known ways of ending that corruption.

Ultimately, Wilkdon would fail, and the Luka Sene would order that Narlusia was to be put to death. The knowledge that he had failed weighed heavily on Wilkdon's shoulders, and he would retire from active field duty for the Sene Seekers, instead taking up the role as a teacher, and adviser to other Force-using organizations, such as the Baran Do or the Jedi.

When the Mandalorians declared war on the Republic, Wilkdon was already there in the Jedi Temple, serving as an adviser. He called for the Council to take an active role in the war, which they disagreed with. Despite this sentiment however, Wilkdon did not approve of Revan and his cohorts going out to war, though he did respect their cause.

When the survivors of Malachor V arrived to warn of the impending invasion of Coruscant, Wilkdon did all he could to aid in the defense, but they ultimately failed. With that, Wilkdon took it upon himself to aid in the next step in the war, the formation of the various Jedi enclaves, designed to train a new generation to fight a guerrilla war against the Mandalorians. Admiring how he took the fight to the Mandalorians, Wilkdon boarded the ship alongside Master Antilles, and did what he could to establish the enclave on Valkaina.
@FallenTrinityAlrighty, I look forward to it.
@SkepicHey, I appreciate you at least stopping by to check it out.
@Loki OdinsonAs this is a small group RP, I'll only be choosing about 4-5 people from the total list of applicants. However, if two or more people apply for the same role(in this case if you and someone else apply to be a sniper), then the sheets will be rated solely on quality, not who posted first in the Interest Check, or who's sheet was posted first, or anything else like that. I have no qualms about choosing a person who showed up in the OOC over someone who was in the Interest Check, assuming their sheet is better quality.
@Dynamo FrokaneWorld War 1 weapons would be fine, especially if your character is a veteran from the Great War. Vehicles will have to be acquired by the party once on-site, and would be simpler things like cars or motorcycles. Limited Air Support will be available from both the Western Allies and the Soviets, but it won't be much.
@Dynamo Frokane@CFProxy@Andreyich@Queen Raidne@Weird Tales@FallenTrinity Tagging you all to let you know the OOC is up!
WW2- Die Laughing Squad

February 1944
Berlin, Germany

February 16, 1944. The bombing campaign had continued for nearly four months, and even on the surface it could be considered a resounding success. When the actual truth (the truth behind the facade) was taken into consideration, the mission could be called one of the few flawless missions that Lieutenant-General Miles Dempsey had ever planned and executed. His military achievements were already nothing to scoff at, but this was his Pièce De Résistance, and no one would ever know about it. There was no documentation or official orders of any kind to prove that this mission had ever taken place at all, despite the involvement of four countries.

The British were responsible for the planning and execution, the United States had supplied some of their best men and nearly unlimited resources, France and Russia had also supplied some of their deadliest soldiers. This was meant to be the mission that would not only end the war, but it would also serve as a reminder to anyone that would ever consider stepping into the depraved shoes of Hitler in the future.

The team that was assembled for this particular mission went by many names. For the sake of security, the name was changed twelve times over the two years it took to plan and assemble. By the time Siemensstadt was hit on February 16, which was done as a distraction to the Allied forces real purpose there, they were being called the "Die Laughing" Squad.

For two years they had trained, individually, for this mission that would almost certainly cost most of them their lives. Adolf Hitler, Hermann Goering, and Heinrich Himmler were their main targets, but there were several others that would be eliminated as well. When the mission was complete, the war would be over.

The training took place individually and no one team member was ever introduced to any of the others. They trained with a "dummy team" so that they would all be on the same page when they did meet, without having the added security risk of any one member knowing the identities of the others. Even if someone was captured, no one man had enough information to compromise the mission. Everyone had a cover story, out-dated information, or simply knew nothing at all. Only General Dempsey knew enough to compromise the mission, and he was currently under security five times heavier than that of the U.S. President. This made working difficult, considering the extreme sensitivity of the project, but it had been pulled off nearly without a missed step so far. Of course, the combat had not started yet. That would change today...

Okay, all the usual rules apply.

This RP follows the usual forum roles, as well as basic things like no godmodding, cheating, etc.

You may choose any role you want, but you cannot take one that is already taken.

This is completely realistic. That means...

No powers

No tech that would not have existed in 1944

No weapons that would not have been allowed in a real war. (Even special forces are not allowed wield a katana in a war, though they often can choose their own firearms within reason) You can bring custom made guns, knives, hatchets, machetes... weapons you would expect to find in an actual war, even if they are altered to make them more interesting. Still, within the actual tech of 1944.

No being the awesome rebel who never follows orders, because those people die in the first firefight, and get everyone else killed with them. (That does not mean you cannot have a chip on your shoulder and have issues with following orders, that is fine, but you cannot be a lone wolf, rogue agent, or someone that has one thing they never play by...the rules!)

No unrealistic ability levels vs age. In other words, you can't be 20 years old and know fifteen forms of martial arts and have ten degrees in strategy and warfare. It does not have to be completely realistic, its okay to be a badass, you just can't be Batman.

On the other hand, these are supposed to be the best of the best. You can be a rookie, but he/she should be a badass rookie.

@Queen Raidne@FallenTrinityThat's great to hear!
@Weird TalesThat'd be fine!

Alright, I think I've got enough people to put up an OOC, so look forward to that.
