Bio

HI THERE~!

Thank you for visiting my profile!

You can call me Destiny. I am a 26-year-old pansexual woman from the USA who has been roleplaying since 2007. I got my start on a Kingdom Hearts fan-forum, and now here I am! My roleplaying interests include slice-of-life, romance, drama, fantasy, and anime fandom. Did I mention I am a HUGE otaku? :D

I write at a high-casual/advanced level as far as the amount of content I write per-post, but I'm not into flowery language most of the time. My writing is very simple, with a lot of the focus being on the characters and how their thoughts and feelings are developing. Realism is the name of my game! This stems from the fact that, when I am not roleplaying or slaving away for a large technology conglomerate at my day job, I am working on plays and films as a professional actress. With this being my passion, it's quite literally my job to pick apart each character's brain to find the motivation behind their words and actions. I'm just saying, that kind of obsession shows in my writing.

For my partners, I mostly do 1x1 RPs unless a group really catches my eye. I expect 2-3 paragraphs per post and prefer those who can respond at least once a day. Original stories catch my eye more than fandoms, but I don't rule anything out until I've tried it- trust me, if something's not working I'll let you know. I do not write smut, but if it is story-driven I will consider 18+. I'm really not picky; these are just guidelines for how to *guarantee* I will love our RP! I've been surprised before!

A fair warning in advance: I'm also a little crazy. I am diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression, so if I am feeling off I may just stop responding. My mental health does come first. Rest assured, I will pick up the pieces and clear my head enough to reply soon. I use my writing as an outlet, so I can never stay away more than a couple of days. That being said, my Guild partners are my family. Y'all have helped me through the worst times of my life and continue to remind me why I'm still alive on this Earth. So just know that I am here to do the same for any of you, even if we've just met. :)

Anywho, if this sounds like your thing then shoot me a PM! I swear I'm friendly, albeit a little strange, and I don't bite (hard)!

Colton rolled his eyes at Jada's comment. "Hey, you never know! Tonight is going to be crazy. You might even try to kiss her! Then where would I be? Although..." He stopped himself and grinned, obviously just joking. Though it would be hot to see those two making out, Colton much preferred Holly as a man-loving woman. And even better, a woman who loved him. He hoped. When Richard came in, he nodded and continued to play some messy chords as he tried to tune his guitar over the noise of their now growing group of people. "Oh, thanks man. Great job being brave enough to even approach those weirdos." He shuddered. Although he didn't know what it was, something about those goth kids gave him the heeby-jeebies. This ouijia board didn't exactly help things. So... It's here in the room, now... Creepy...

"Owww!!!" Isabel made a pathetic face, feigning sadness. "That hurt! And besides, like I'd ever want to see that freak, again!" She frowned and crossed her arms, almost pouting about it. Though a bright red blush did cross her cheeks. Damn, Jada, you're such a jerk! Yes, Isabel did kind of like Vincent... But he obviously wasn't interested. He wasn't even here, for crying out loud! And if she were being honest, she had actually sort of forgotten about her little crush once Rosie had passed... There was just too much to deal with. She didn't care about love, right now. She wanted her friend back. Though she would never say that. She wouldn't say she liked him, either... Why were they even talking about such depressing things?!?!

Just then, Isabel noticed a familiar face and grinned, widely. "Richard!!!" She squealed at the top of her lungs and, without reserve, ran over to jump onto his lap where he sat on the couch. Her actions knocked the movies carelessly to the floor. "Richard! Richard! Richard! Guess what I'm dressed as?!?!" Giggling, she formed her finger into a hook and pressed it under his chin, as if it were a sharp hook hand she was holding to his throat. "Grr... Give me all your treasure... Grr... These really were her closest friends. Drunk or not, she really didn't have any reserve with any of them. Especially drunk. At some point tonight, she would probably be trying to kiss one of them. Thank goodness for her, it hadn't seemed to cause any awkwardness, yet. Or at least, none that she had noticed, in her constant state of tipsiness.

"Awwh..." Sighing happily, she fell backward so that she was laying across Richard, her head on the empty spot where Jada was sitting, before. "You guys are my best friends... Seriously... I love y'all..." A sniffle could be heard as a bit of tears formed in her eyes. Yes, she was already at the crying stage. She would be crashed early, tonight, for sure.
Wow, what a bitch... Scott tried his hardest not to break his polite smile as she barely spoke to him, much less looked at him. After everything that had happened this morning, couldn't she at least talk to him? Her short response irritated him to no end - much more than it should have - but he didn't say anything about it. As usual, he had to be the polite vice president, making sure all of the students were okay and well taken care of. Emily wanted that more than anything. God, that woman was going to make a great CEO, some day.

Pushing his thoughts of Emily aside, he noticed that Elizabeth kept glancing toward the cafeteria. Was she hungry? Why didn't she just go get some food? Or answer his damn question? Maybe if she'd answer him, he'd buy lunch for her. Yeah, like that would ever happen... He smiled a bit more and followed her glance. "Well, I'm glad you're not hurt..." A moment of awkward silence passed before his eyes flickered back to her face, almost mischievous. "Oh, are you hungry? Sorry, I hope I'm not keeping you from lunch." He stared into her eyes, as if trying to figure something out.

This girl was strange... Well, more than most anyway. Something about her was off, and Scott wanted to figure out what it was. It irritated the hell out of him. While he waited for her response though, his eyes caught sight of something red on her sleeve. Is that... Is that blood? Out of habit, his eyes shifted into a look of concern, and before he even knew what he was doing he roughly grabbed her hand. Immediately, he realized his error.

"O-Oh! I'm sorry!" He quickly pulled his hands back, holding them up in front of him. "I, uh... I thought I saw a bug. Sorry. Hate those creepy critters." He gave a cheesy smile. That definitely wasn't a bug. Is she... Is her arm bleeding? Something in his chest burned. This girl... What the fuck is she playing at? For whatever reason, this only made him angrier. Was she a cutter? Did she hurt herself when she fell? Was she trying to hide it to save face? To not be the new girl who fell on the first day?

This pissed him off. He couldn't stand people like that. I knew it... She's such a fake bitch!
Dru sighed as he walked down the streets of the bustling city, his hands tucked into the pockets of his tight, black jeans. Why did he have to be the one to place the order at the market? Sure, they were a large guild (and one with many guests), but anyone else could have gone to deal with something so trivial. He had been enjoying his alone time. After all, being alone was such a luxury in a guild that spent its spare time entertaining local visitors and "fans." He groaned inwardly at the thought of how flashy everything was. Sure, they were good people, but that just wasn't something he enjoyed. Once upon a time he would have given anything to not be alone anymore, but a few seconds here and there weren't so bad...

Besides, today he wasn't exactly feeling that well. His head was pounding and he felt a bit weak. Maybe he was getting sick? There had been this lingering feeling in the pit of his stomach, lately, and he just couldn't pinpoint what it was. Others had complained that they were a bit ill, as well. A lot of others, actually. It seemed like more and more people were coming back from their missions completely wiped. Anyone else might have thought they were just taking on harder jobs, but Dru had noticed a strange expression on Master Bob's face that suggested he thought something was wrong. Truthfully, it had made him a bit concerned. Nobody else seemed to notice though, in all of the commotion always going on, so Dru had decided to just ignore it. After all, the master would tell them if things were really getting bad.

This headache really was killer, though. It had been persisting for almost 24 hours. Wincing a bit, he reached his hand up to rest on his snow-white locks of hair. Something in those amber eyes had been burning him to the core... It was annoying. Just like this stupid errand. He couldn't say no, though, after everything that the guild had done for him. So he quietly continued to his destination, not stopping until he heard a feminine voice call out to him.

"Hmm?" His eyes glanced toward where the noise had come from, and there he saw a young woman with long, snow-white locks that were eerily similar to his. She had a look in her eyes that he immediately noted as concern - maybe even fear? - though he did not mention it. Besides, the more important thing was that she was looking for their guild. But he hadn't seen her around? She wasn't even one of their regular "customers." In fact, she looked like a very respectable young woman. What could she need from the Blue Pegasus Guild? It would obviously be her first visit there.

"Oh... Actually, I'm part of that Guild." He stated this very matter-of-factly. "Did you need help with something?"

Then he realized she may just be going to visit a friend, or maybe put in a job request. Either way, it was a diversion from his boring task. "I can take you there. My name's Dru." His eyes seemed to bear into her as he looked into her bright blue orbs. It was an unintentional effect of his appearance that would either scare people off or draw them in (the master said it was his "charm"), which Dru never quite understood... Whatever her reaction though, he politely held his hand out to shake hers.

"Nice to meet you."

Day 1, Still Evening

Cinera looked at Mai'lo, a bit surprised when she was asked to sit. After that whole scene, they... they wanted her to join them? She had thought that she looked like a crazy mess right now, with her orange hair tangled and matted against her wet cheeks. Not to mention that she was still crying and hyperventilating quite a bit. Were there really people out there who were this understanding? And under these circumstances? She wasn't sure if she could believe it.

Either way though, she found her body almost moving on its own as she numbly grabbed a chair and sat down with them. She moved slowly, almost trying to be as careful as she could, but one arm remained around her own waist as she held herself together with silent sobs that shook her shoulders. Her arms were shaking uncontrollably. Cinera had never had a panic attack in her life, but this was the start of them for her in this long, stressful journey. She had no idea how to deal with this. Everyone was staring at her, but they ordered her food and drink and treated her like she was a close friend.

Before she knew it, she felt her fear slowly subsiding as she regained control over herself. The anxiety attack was subsiding in the presence of these strangers, and so she quietly wiped away her tears and looked down at her lap. It felt nice to breathe again, but everything felt so heavy. Her body was weak, and she felt sort of emotionally... numb. Obviously her coping with this entire situation was not very graceful. Cinera didn't even know what to do with herself. The others tried to talk to her, but she just didn't know how to reply. Her hands stared silently down at her lap as her vision even faded in and out, a bit. I never knew that freaking out could take so much energy out of me... God, I'm such a freak...

Suddenly, she heard some coins rustle near her and cautiously glanced up, feeling a bit uneasy after making such a show in front of them. She wanted to believe these were good people, but honestly everything felt so fake in this game, now. As real as it was, everything she had thought to be true about this game was a lie. Her mind whirled as she tried to cope, much less get a grip on the reality in front of her.

”Uhm... Are... Are you sure...?” Now that she'd had a chance to breathe and the anxiety attack had subsided, Cinera was able to speak a bit more clearly, though her voice was quiet and raspy. ”I mean... I appreciate it, but it's the start of the game and... I'd... I'd hate to take anything from you so early on, when we haven't had a chance to build up any money, yet. I... I do have some more bread in my inventory... I-I just...” Tears welled up in her eyes, once more, and she glanced down. ”Sorry... nevermind...”

Cinera didn't want to be wary of them. After all, they had been nothing but kind to her. It was just her crazy, mixed-up mind. She had to keep reminding herself that. Before she could say anything else though, the man from before (Delcastle, was it?) began to explain a plan that really had her confused. Wait, this was a set group? Had she joined another party? What was going on? Cinera had thought they were being kind, but after that explanation she felt like this was an offer for her to join them. Twice in one day, really? At this point, she had no idea that they were all one large group, so it made her quite conflicted.

On one hand, she really wanted to go have to her old group... They had been kind enough to extend an offer to her, first. But would they want her back if she didn't come back with the food she had promised? Again, she didn't even know how large the group really was... It would be embarrassing to go back, not even knowing these things. But she also didn't know any of these people. What if they had ulterior motives for helping her? And what about Sapphira, her new fox-tailed friend? She was such a sweet girl. What if that party was full of evil people? Then her new friend would be alone.

This new group was stable, though. Trustworthy. They were kind and they had many resources. A smart game player would choose the World Walkers. But Cinera just couldn't get her friend out of her mind. And she was tired. Glancing at her inventory to check on the bread, in a sort of paranoid just-in-case kind of way, she noticed that there was a friend request. It was from Sapphira! Immediately, she accepted and opened her inbox to message her, only to find a message already there. She sent a message back: ”Hi! I'm okay... I ran into some new people at the tavern. They helped me with a... problem. I'm... not sure what to do. Where are you?”

Okay, so that message sounded a bit like someone on the verge of suicide, or like she had been kidnapped, but that wasn't intentional. She was just majorly tired. Everything felt emotionally and physically dead, and she was afraid that if she didn't see at least a semi-familiar face soon that she would break down, again. As everyone began to leave, she was handed the key for an inn room, for which she expressed her sincere gratitude. And then the group began to disperse. She started thinking that she might head for the inn soon, but realized Sapphira might come looking for her. So instead, she stayed at the table and sipped on her apple cider to soothe her stomach. I... I think I will take them up on their offer... I feel at ease when I'm with them. My parents... I need to make it back alive to see them. This is going to be a very important decision...

@OldManWong Also, sorry for the slow reply!! ^^"
Kimmy gave a shy smile as Gideon replied, very politely. He did not seem to be bothered by her in the least. Oddly enough, that actually made her more uncomfortable. Sure, she did communicate with people when she had to, but small talk wasn't exactly something she was good at. Most of the time she would get straight to the point so that she could leave and get away from all of the eyes staring at her. With him though, there wasn't really a "point" to get to... She was honestly just saying hello. Which she had already done. As she stood there quietly, trying to think of what else to say, Kimmy did notice him eyeing her up and down. Something in her heart sunk a little when she noticed this, and her gaze quickly flickered toward the building to her right, avoiding him. Here we go, again...

Great. Another person staring. Was it really so strange to have white hair and red eyes? Sure, the eyes were a bit creepy, but there were days where she thought her hair was even pretty cute, albeit fine and brittle. She had no idea why he was staring at her, though it could be assumed that he was taken aback by her condition, just like everybody else. All she could do was ignore it the same way she did with others. The tour of the school quickly began, and Kimmy decided it was best to continue on in silence. She still couldn't think of anything to talk about, anyway. They weaved in and out of hallways, through the many buildings of the school and around the courtyard multiple times. When all was said and done, they had killed about an hour and a half just wandering campus. Each time they went outside, Kimmy would take out her umbrella and open it up, shielding herself from the harsh rays of the sun. Sometimes it felt like she would live her entire life in the shy sadness of this umbrella's shadow.

As they continued walking though, she heard that same voice speaking, and once again understood that he was speaking to her. Despite looking her up and down before, Gideon was still making conversation. Was this real? Nobody ever talked to her unless they really had to, once they got a good look at her. This guy was very different... A sort of warmth welled up in her chest as she peered at him from under the rim of her umbrella. Well, actually, she couldn't quite see his face; he was very tall, though she couldn't move the umbrella or the shade would move with it. Blushing in embarrassment at her own frail condition, she just stared at the ground as she responded.

"Oh, uhm... Well, just the normal classes. Math, science... Then I thought I'd try drawing and French. A wide smile was spread over her lips at the thought of this. She had always loved museums, and something about these classes made her very excited. She was eager to explore other interests besides reading. Though Kimmy never thought she had much talent at these things, she had made the decision to live for herself rather than letting other students scare her off. It was time to try something new and see what might be enjoyable. "Freshmen didn't really get as many options for electives, but those sounded fun! How... How about you?" She glanced up at him, shyly, as she put away her umbrella. They had entered the building they had started in, and now she figured was her best chance at attempting small talk. It was a weak attempt, but she felt sort of proud that she was having this conversation with him, at all.

As they gathered in that same spot, Kimmy listened to the guide and was quickly given a piece of paper, along with Gideon. Hmm? He's a freshman, too? For some reason, this had surprised her, and she always tried to be one not to judge a book by its cover. As she looked up and down the page, she spotted the name and, understandingly, had no idea who this was. Tyler Henderson, huh...? Immediately, she felt sick to her stomach. Something in her hoped that they would be just as kind as Gideon had been so far, but somehow she felt that they wouldn't be quite so understanding. Looks like that will be when the rumors start... She wanted to hurl, as she already anticipated when her high school life would fall apart. Undoubtedly, it would be quick... and hopefully painless so that she could crawl back into her corner and forget the world, again.
