Bio

HI THERE~!

Thank you for visiting my profile!

You can call me Destiny. I am a 26-year-old pansexual woman from the USA who has been roleplaying since 2007. I got my start on a Kingdom Hearts fan-forum, and now here I am! My roleplaying interests include slice-of-life, romance, drama, fantasy, and anime fandom. Did I mention I am a HUGE otaku? :D

I write at a high-casual/advanced level as far as the amount of content I write per-post, but I'm not into flowery language most of the time. My writing is very simple, with a lot of the focus being on the characters and how their thoughts and feelings are developing. Realism is the name of my game! This stems from the fact that, when I am not roleplaying or slaving away for a large technology conglomerate at my day job, I am working on plays and films as a professional actress. With this being my passion, it's quite literally my job to pick apart each character's brain to find the motivation behind their words and actions. I'm just saying, that kind of obsession shows in my writing.

For my partners, I mostly do 1x1 RPs unless a group really catches my eye. I expect 2-3 paragraphs per post and prefer those who can respond at least once a day. Original stories catch my eye more than fandoms, but I don't rule anything out until I've tried it- trust me, if something's not working I'll let you know. I do not write smut, but if it is story-driven I will consider 18+. I'm really not picky; these are just guidelines for how to *guarantee* I will love our RP! I've been surprised before!

A fair warning in advance: I'm also a little crazy. I am diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression, so if I am feeling off I may just stop responding. My mental health does come first. Rest assured, I will pick up the pieces and clear my head enough to reply soon. I use my writing as an outlet, so I can never stay away more than a couple of days. That being said, my Guild partners are my family. Y'all have helped me through the worst times of my life and continue to remind me why I'm still alive on this Earth. So just know that I am here to do the same for any of you, even if we've just met. :)

Anywho, if this sounds like your thing then shoot me a PM! I swear I'm friendly, albeit a little strange, and I don't bite (hard)!

@DestinyStar All are noobs in the game of life.

Whoa... That's deep... o.o

Also, not sure what to do with Scarlet for the moment, on the way into the gorge. How long does it take to get to the dungeon again? 1-2 days? @Zelosse
Cinera
Day 16 - Sunset - Lvl 13

Cinera was a bit concerned as Delcastle seemed to space out, but then he gave a bright smile and essentially agreed with her. Even so, it bothered her how nonchalant he was being about her concerns. Yes, it would be wrong to just ignore people, but at the same time there were people out there who would eventually want to take advantage of their kindness. She didn't press the matter any further, though; Delcastle was a business man above all else, and she knew by now that he wouldn't be easily tricked. However, something inside her stomach still churned uncomfortably. I guess there's nothing wrong with worrying if he really thinks it's a good thing... but this world really is full of danger... I wonder if you can get ulcers in this game? The thought of something that real being in this world almost made her laugh out loud.

For the rest of the picnic Cinera simply enjoyed herself, joking and laughing with the person who had become her most dear friend in this game. He seemed calm, they were all safe, and at least until their next excursion everyone could rest easy. Or so she thought.

Day 16 - Night

Things were quiet as they walked back into town, but it was a sort of comfortable silence between them. The delicious meal that Cinera had learned Bulwar made for them was now swirling around contentedly in their stomachs, and the chirps and breeze of the night made peaceful noises in the dark around them. The lights of the city in the evening were an even more comforting sight, though the town seemed to be rather empty tonight. Cinera was completely and utterly exhausted though, so a part of her was very happy that Delcastle wouldn't be able to stay longer to do business. It wasn't like she had to stay with him, but... well... it had been awhile since they got this much time alone. If anything, she would sleep easier knowing he was actually resting safely in an inn during the night, for once.

As they walked deeper into the square, Cinera covered her mouth lightly with her hand as she yawned. I didn't know your muscles could ache this much in a game... Suddenly, something caught the corner of her eye and she found herself stopping to look. Only a couple people were walking around at this time of night, but a very familiar silhouette caught her eye underneath the glow of a dim street lamp. Is that...! It was! They hadn't seen each other since she had left that note behind at the inn - since the day she decided to join the World Walkers. How was she doing? Had she made lots of money like she wanted?

Cinera had so many questions for her friend, and she immediately took a step toward her, ready to call out her name. However, she was stopped short when she saw the tiny figure suddenly drop to the ground. She was so tired, it had seemed like an illusion, at first. "... Sapphira...?" It took a minute to register before Cinera gave a huge gasp of terror. "Oh my god! DELCASTLE!" Her legs seemed to move on their own as she raced to her friend's aid, practically throwing herself on the ground beside her to see what was wrong. Delcastle was at her side in an instant, and it was when he turned Sapphira over that she saw it.

The cuts. The bruises. The tattered clothes. The dried up blood. The cut up fur. It was a horrific sight to behold, and Cinera felt her heart sink with fear. Was she... Was she dying...? No... No way... Once she realized they were still added as friends, she glanced up at Sapphira's health bar. Her HP is in the red... but it's not gone... Thank god. She relaxed a bit, knowing this. They needed to move quickly though or that was going to change. Delcastle's words rang in her brain like a military order, and she practically flew to the inn with how fast she was running.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, but we've only got one room left and that one has two beds. Take it or leave it."

Not left with much of a choice, and with no time to argue, Cinera took the room and waited for her companions next to the front desk so that there was no wait to find a place to lay her down. Within minutes they were safe within a private room, Sapphira resting unconscious on one of the beds. Cinera finally began to panic. How could this happen? Things were going so well... Everybody loved her, I'm sure she must've had some help fighting whatever monster she took on... Tears welled up in her eyes. I'm just so happy she's still alive, by some miracle... The thought never crossed her mind that players did this to her. She saw everybody in this world as innocent, as she hadn't really known people that well outside of her family in reality. Cinera had no idea how cruel people could be, even though she was seeing it right before her eyes.

She barely heard Delcastle's words as he ran off to get food to help. All she could do was give a brief nod and continue to kneel here by Sapphira's side. I guess all we can do is wait for her to wake up... The shock from injuries that severe must have knocked her out pretty well. Cinera imagined that it could be awhile before she awoke. Delcastle returned soon with food, and by then she had calmed down a bit from the initial shock. Sapphira was stable for now, and she could once again feel the ache of her muscles, now worse from running to the inn. Her eyelids would barely stay open as she glanced toward their noble guild leader, who now made himself comfortable on the floor. It looked like he was pretty wiped out, too...

Not really caring if she slept on a bed or not, Cinera actually made her way over to Delcastle, sitting beside him and weakly leaning her head on his shoulder. "Thank you..." She murmured, closing her eyes to rest with him. I know he's worried... This time it's my turn to comfort him... Her arm linked with his as she sent him silent comforts, simply being near him to try and be a consoling presence. They were both worried... Neither of them had really seen anything this bad in the game, so far, even though it happened every day. But there was no sense in freaking out over it. She would be fine. Cinera wanted to believe that. She will be fine... "... We just have to wait for her to wake up. She'll be... okay..." As she said this, she started to nod off a little, unable to keep herself awake through the exhaustion any longer.

Please wake up... Sapphira, please...
@Haeo @Zelosse Oh! Haha I know OF it, just never seen it called EQ. And again, I'm a noob. :P
@Zelosse I'm actually looking at it now. Is it only PC or does it have a Mac version? I don't have Windows... Unless it is also on Xbox? It looks pretty badass though lol...

@Haeo Yeah, that's what I like about Neverwinter. I don't have to buy anything to have fun. :) And anything that takes real money to buy you can also earn for free with hard work, even though the bought stuff isn't necessary to become powerful. I used to play those dumb Facebook games that had that issue - when "free" isn't really free lol.

Also, what is EQ?
@Zelosse Haha well if you ever decide to you can join our guild. :) We are low-level but it's fun!

@Haeo Yeah... It's probably more awesome to me because I'm new to MMOs. :P You'd probably get a better game paying for it but I'm cheap and was just curious when I started (now kind of addicted lol).
I love this idea. Especially the idea of a "healing fountain" or some kind of rare item. Kinda reminds me in the show how there was that flower which could bring back dead companions, or how there was a rumor of a drop that could bring a person back from the dead.

Rumors would also make this little story very interesting, because how to do they know which option is real and can help?

... I'm kind cruel. :3

Anyway, out of curiosity, anyone here play Neverwinter? (If you don't, you should - it's free and it's super fun)
I'm currently playing an MMO where on top of HP damage, you can get Minor Injuries or Severe Injuries (usually from dungeon traps) and they will deplete you HP a little at a time (like 2 points every 5 minutes) unless they are healed. You can heal them either by standing in a heal spot for 3 minutes (per minor injury, longer for severe) or by using these "Injury Kits" that are actually kinda expensive.

It could be something similar with Sapphira?
@PyroDash888 Yeah, I'm kinda curious how that would work...? I just figured she didn't have enough for potions or something, or was being bullied to give them to others or something. :o
@joeycbee Oops! Sorry! ^^" I'm still getting used to this whole 'tagging' thing... It didn't exist when I was here a few years ago lol. I always just used the subscription option, but I forget people don't rely on that anymore. xP
@PyroDash888 Oh, trust me, as soon as Cinera is back in town she'll notice her old friend!!!
