Current It's been a long time, RPGuild. I hope you're all well.

Bio

HI THERE~!

Thank you for visiting my profile!

You can call me Destiny. I am a 26-year-old pansexual woman from the USA who has been roleplaying since 2007. I got my start on a Kingdom Hearts fan-forum, and now here I am! My roleplaying interests include slice-of-life, romance, drama, fantasy, and anime fandom. Did I mention I am a HUGE otaku? :D

I write at a high-casual/advanced level as far as the amount of content I write per-post, but I'm not into flowery language most of the time. My writing is very simple, with a lot of the focus being on the characters and how their thoughts and feelings are developing. Realism is the name of my game! This stems from the fact that, when I am not roleplaying or slaving away for a large technology conglomerate at my day job, I am working on plays and films as a professional actress. With this being my passion, it's quite literally my job to pick apart each character's brain to find the motivation behind their words and actions. I'm just saying, that kind of obsession shows in my writing.

For my partners, I mostly do 1x1 RPs unless a group really catches my eye. I expect 2-3 paragraphs per post and prefer those who can respond at least once a day. Original stories catch my eye more than fandoms, but I don't rule anything out until I've tried it- trust me, if something's not working I'll let you know. I do not write smut, but if it is story-driven I will consider 18+. I'm really not picky; these are just guidelines for how to *guarantee* I will love our RP! I've been surprised before!

A fair warning in advance: I'm also a little crazy. I am diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression, so if I am feeling off I may just stop responding. My mental health does come first. Rest assured, I will pick up the pieces and clear my head enough to reply soon. I use my writing as an outlet, so I can never stay away more than a couple of days. That being said, my Guild partners are my family. Y'all have helped me through the worst times of my life and continue to remind me why I'm still alive on this Earth. So just know that I am here to do the same for any of you, even if we've just met. :)

Anywho, if this sounds like your thing then shoot me a PM! I swear I'm friendly, albeit a little strange, and I don't bite (hard)!

Ari stepped back a bit, caught off-guard by the sudden change. So she changed shape? I thought she was a human... She knew better than to judge someone by their appearance. Still, it was an interesting ability. Her head cocked to the side, curiously, when she apologized. "Why are you sorry?" She inquired and then grinned. "That was quite adorable, if it's not too forward of me to say. Your ability must be very useful." The young sea-dweller sipped her champagne, glancing around the room. There was a bit of awkwardness as she rubbed her arm. "I see... I am sorry to hear that. I hope you can at least enjoy yourself some."
Ari noticed a blonde woman standing nearby, looking rather awkward. She appeared the same as the young siren felt- uncomfortable with this type of setting. After a bit of hesitation, she decided to approach her. How am I going to learn what these people are like without speaking to them? She walked up to her with a gentle smile. "Not much for parties?" Ari asked, quietly. Her own expression was curious, yet kind.
It was so fascinating just to watch the creatures finding their rooms and milling about. Ari couldn't help the smile plastered on her face. I still can't believe I'm actually here... Her eyes scanned the room as she was suddenly handed a fizzy beverage in a tall glass. Curious, she tried the mystery drink- champagne, as she would come to understand was its name. The young siren blinked in surprise at the strange sensation the bubbles left; they did not have anything like this back home. The feeling made her giggle a bit, but she quickly covered her mouth and hoped no one noticed how out-of-place she felt. There are so many new things to be discovered here... but I can't go around looking like some tourist.
Ari soon found the room in which she was staying and was relieved it had a large bathtub. Although she could stay in her human form for days, if needed, it could get exhausting. After splashing her face a bit, she made her way to the ballroom where people had begun to gather. Her eyes sparkled as she stood by herself, watching the many different types of creatures as they arrived. Some appeared human- others had scales or fur, one eye or many. She saw one particular woman in a bright red dress and immediately felt out of place. Maybe I'm underdressed...?
As she approached the door, Ari hesitated a bit. Standing there was a young man, presumably the one who was throwing the party. He was greeting each of the guests. Just act normal. Be confident and don't behave suspiciously and no one will realize... As she approached him, she made eye contact through her mask and gave a polite curtsy before moving to continue into the mansion without a word. Her smile was calm and her movements were graceful for someone who had been raised beneath the sea.
The time had come for this young siren to gain her land-legs and join in the ball! She had never been to an event as grand as this, though it was certainly not her first time on land. The young woman had been sure to arrive after many of the other guests- the less chance she had to be alone, the less likely she was to be discovered. If the other guests knew she was a siren, they were bound to be frightened of her. As she approached the mansion, her dark gown twinkling in the twilight, she clutched her shawl tight around her in anticipation. I can't wait to finally see what else is out there... or who else... This is going to be so fun!

Biography

Ari is the youngest of her clan, and a bit of an oddball. Her kind are known for luring men to their deaths with their songs for sport, but she wanted nothing more than to learn about other creatures. She was attending this ball to escape her family for awhile and to satisfy her curiosity.
Other

She does not want anyone to know she is a siren. She is also more drawn to women than she is to men, likely from seeing too often how they fall for her family's songs.
This sounds fun! Just hopped by to say I will likely be jumping into this later today! ^.^
Macy watched with a gleam in her eye as her three captives began to mercilessly slaughter their comrades. Good... It worked... There was a bit of relief to her thoughts as she stepped through the barrier and out into the open. She hadn't used any of her magic for awhile, so she wasn't sure just how effective the possession would be. They were fully under her command. A small smile came upon her lips as she kept her hand outstretched in order to maintain the connection. Her comrades had begun to move forward, seeing their opening, so she worried less about defending herself and more on keeping hold of them as long as possible.

Hopefully they could kill one or two others before her concentration broke. Once she felt herself getting close to her limit, she changed the command, ordering her three mindslaves to murder themselves. Macy didn't get to see if she held out long enough for them to follow the instruction, however, as her hold on their minds slipped. Slowly, her hand dropped to her side and she stood there for a moment, silent. Her hands shook with anticipation and her breathing became heavy. She replayed the images of their weapons slicing through each other, blood splattering, over and over in her mind. It was addictive. The control she had felt over them was simply delightful. Slowly but surely, a wicked grin slipped across her face, matching the evil glint in her eyes. A demonic aura built around her, and anyone who could sense it would tell that something in her had indeed shifted.

This was a common occurence when she used spells- her bloodlust went wild. Just the thought of ripping flesh, exposing the organs within... It was fun, but it wasn't enough. I want to see more. Really, she wanted to tear apart one of those bug creatures, but these common prisoners would be interesting enough. The urges grew strong inside of her, and Macy caught herself slipping, grasping the wrist that held her rapier with her free hand. She could not stop the trembling. Not good... Her eyes darted around, making sure she wasn't too close to anybody. Hawke was the only comrade near her, but there was no time to warn him that she was going to lose control. Hopefully Diana had heeded her warning and was somewhere nearby.

Without warning, Macy suddenly shot forward toward the prisoners, her hand stretched out in front of her. It soon connected with the skull of a Falcon standing within arm's reach of Hawke, grasping his face with a grip far beyond that of her stature. In a flash, she had engulfed the man in black flames, her smile widening as she watched him burn alive. A small giggle escaped her lips as she glanced to her large companion, making eye contact. Her expression would be wild, and much different from her usual monotone look. Macy was not herself, and found herself lost in her desire to see blood shed.
Macy glanced between the members of her group, noticing they were mostly grouped together in one area. This wasn't good- being so close together would make it easier for them to be wiped out. She could sense the barrier that had been created - those left in the smoke were just sacrifices, then. The ones they needed to get at, the intelligent ones, were bound to be lying in weight behind that protection. How many were there? She had no way to tell, but from what she could discern from how many were within her smoke, it was more than half behind the wall.

Kris seemed to organize the team to fight those within the smoke, but they didn't appear to have a plan once they broke through. She closed her eyes for a moment, thinking. Did this situation really call for it? It wasn't something she liked to use, and in an area like this it could be dangerous... but her team knew her tendencies and should be able to subdue her, if necessary. This wasn't something she could do without warning them, however. And Hawke didn't know about her magic, so he might become a target. Once she decided the best way to do things, she opened her eyes and made her move.

Normally she would approach Scar first, as he was often the quickest to be able to stop her if things got out of hand, but he was invisible at the moment so there wasn't time to track him. Her next best bet was Diana - with her wide range of spells, she could take control of things from a distance if they got bad. Plus, she was nearby. Gripping her rapier and dagger, she made her way to the dragon-woman, placing a hand on her arm. They barely spoke, so she would likely know what this was about. "You know what to do, right?" Once it was confirmed that she would keep Macy from hurting any comrades, she sunk back into the smoke to conceal herself.

She was nearly as nimble as Scar when it came to avoiding detection within the smoke, though she wasn't actually invisible and didn't move near as quickly. As the fight continued, however, she made her way around the edges of the room to approach the barrier. It seemed like it was built to keep physical objects away, but magic would be able to pass through from her close distance. Still pressed to the wall and concealed by the smoke, she peered through the fog to see the stronger ones standing back.

Too many... She wouldn't be able to control them all, but she would attempt three. Targeting three of the men in the front, including Harl, she silently pressed two fingers to her lips and stretched that hand through the barrier, quickly pushing a force to take control of their bodies. Her eyes glowed a bit as she cast the spell, but she remained prepared with her rapier in her free hand, guarding just in case. If the spell were successful, those whom she had gained control over would turn and begin slaughtering their comrades and, should there be time, themselves. She could hold this for sixty seconds, at best, and she hoped by that time her comrades would recognize their opening.
