Splendor and Stupidity (A KonoSuba-inspired RP)- We're Live, Guys!

Fashionably late and over-bearing. Two words that always have been used to describe Elysia. Having slept in a little longer that morning, Elysia entered the guild hall. Several annoyed looks were cast towards her by some she had been in a party with in the past. But this didn't seem to bother Elysia at all.

She probably didn't even notice the ill looks.

She cleared her throat. It wasn't a simple clearing of the throat like, "Ahem." It wasn't a shy, "A-ahem," either. Oh, no. It sounded something along the lines of:

"AHHHHHH-HEM!"

The demon folded her arms in front of her dress, her usual haughty demeanor crossing her expressions.

"For those of you who do not know," she began, trying to get anyone's attention (but at this point, people who knew Elysia already were ignoring her), "I am Elysia Corentine, summoner extraordinaire and modest elite demon. Yes, I know. How could such an amazing person such as this not currently be in a party? It's almost heartbreaking!" She feigned a sad look before adding:

"But this skilled summoner," she showed off her magitek gauntlets, "And masterful tinkerer, can be yours! Yes! Even the peasants of this guild could possibly have me, Elysia Corentine, in their party. I would take up a bidding service for my services, but just a modest, large recommendation of your party is enough. Thank you all for your time."

She then added, under her breath, "I mean thanks for not much. You should be dying to have me travel with you..."

Frida listened to what Twix had to say and nodded once or twice. That all sounded like a fair plan. And it would keep them out of trouble regarding situations like the earlier Grimer and Muk situation. She heard someone fall back onto their back and turned to face a being who looked like an Ampharos. The Froakie Gijinka hopped over to the fully evolved Gijinka and extended a hand out for her to grab.

"Welcome back to the world of the living!" she exclaimed towards her, smiling slightly, "Need a hand up?" When Twix had mentioned partnering up with others, she thought working together with Meloi would be a pretty good partner to have right now. Or at the very least, the Ampharos gijinka was the one that Frida hadn't caught anything about. After all, outside of the new guy who reminded her of a Doublade who had just arrived, the Ampharos gijinka had just woken back up.

Hey, it's not a problem! I should apologize too since it's been a week since you posted this, I've been pretty busy myself but I will be trying to get a reply in tomorrow.

Most groups of friends die out once they graduate college. Now that they're adults, people go their separate ways. They change, they make new friends. That's how it works for most groups of friends. However, this is not one of those stories.

This is the story of a group of friends who live in Chicago. Now graduated from college, they're still extremely close (even if some of them have incredibly different interests, lifestyles, and might even pick at each other a lot of the time). It was a stretch and could have been something that would have been along the lines of disastrous, but the group of friends are moving into an apartment complex together, sharing apartments in groups of two.

Their adult life, their friendships, and everything in-between will change, that's for sure. Will their so-called unbreakable bonds survive? Will romance blossom between any of them? Will they survive each other and the entire stress of being thrown out into the adult world?

Well, time will tell.

This is an interest check for a slice of life RP inspired by the sitcom, Friends. It'll focus around 6-8 friends with different lifestyles, personalities, ethnicities, and sexualities who have known each other for quite a long time as they end up moving into the same apartment complex.

The OOC thread will not only have a CS, but a relationship form for everyone to fill out once all the characters are made. This way, we'll know how each member of the group of friends feels towards the others at the beginning of the RP (for example, who's their best friend in the group? Do they have a crush on anyone in the group? Are they dating anyone in the group? Do they secretly loathe anyone in the group? etc.) This way, as characters are accepted, we will be able to brainstorm on how these characters would function as a group.

Spirit Guardians: The Call of a Butterfly [REBOOT]

//Yu Zhi and Zephyr//

"Wake up."

"Yu Zhi."

"YU ZHI."

A loud yawn escaped Yu Zhi's lips, the goggle-sporting DJ-wannabe sitting up from his seat on the ferry he had taken to make it to the academy. The ferry, for the most part, was empty, and Zephyr floated beside the previously sleeping nihilist, looking more than a little annoyed by Yu Zhi's lack of attempt to wake up at any sort of fair time.

Well, as annoyed as he could look in his butterfly form, Yu Zhi figured.

"Morning, Zephyr," he greeted the floating butterfly.

"Don't morning me; we're here already, get moving," was Zephyr's annoyed response. Yu Zhi stared blankly at his guardian before giving a simple shrug. He might as well have gotten up then. Slowly rising to his feet and grabbing his red suitcase, the young Chinese man began to make his way off of his ferry.

After a few moments of stretching and trying to regain some composure, Yu Zhi looked out towards the academy that spread out before him. He gave a whistle as he looked at the entrance.

"Not too shabby," he mused, as he began to walk forward, his guardian back to his much quieter demeanor. A large group of fellow students were all gathered around, some in groups, as a greeting was spoken.

Yu Zhi mused as he walked towards the large group of students, opting to stand in the back. His meeting with Zephyr and now being called to a place where many other people had met with guardians. It was so strange to him. Zephyr had only appeared to Yu Zhi out of convenience in Yu Zhi's opinion. Before now, Yu Zhi showed no interest in actually battling rogue spirits; but after a time, Zephyr had finally instilled some interest in the school and some interest in being a Spirit Guardian.

Not much.

As he waited for the headmaster's upcoming speech, Yu Zhi dug around in his suitcase for his headphones, putting them on and blasting the volume in his ears as loud as it could go. Zephyr remained in his butterfly form at the moment, just floating near Yu Zhi's right shoulder.

The quicker time passed for the headmaster to begin their speech in his opinion, the better.
