I am, yet again, reminding my partners that I am alive. I am just on a hiatus while I finish my degree, which will be done in December.

Contrary to popular belief, I am still alive. Just very busy. I will reply to RPs when I am getting more than 2-4 hours of sleep a day.

I apologize to my partners for taking approximately 3 decades to respond, I decided that working full time and going to college full time was a fabulous idea. Spoiler alert: it was not.

27, Male, USA Bisexual Time Zone: EST Occupation: Surgical Technologist My personality is laidback and calm, and I'm very understanding.
I do digital art! I can do simple character Commissions, and post regular art on Twitter. Paid Commissions will be posted there @CommanderVolkov.
I listen to a lot of music; current favorite is Spiritbox.
Hit me up for all your medical RP needs. I've worked in a good handful of departments, and can make things more realistic!
Wow, I didn't even know this contest was going on until today. I always look over to the little section on the right of the homepage to see what contest is going on; it still says the first contest's information. Someone needs to update that thing. Kind of pisses me off now; I would have loved to write an entry for this if it had been more clearly displayed on the site.
I'm Dewey. Recently I've been having some trouble getting back into my roleplays and getting the motivation to continue them, but one thing I absolutely have been wanting to do that no one has jumped on, is a Star Wars themed roleplay. I think that this kind of roleplay, with someone who will be as dedicated to it as I will dedicate myself, will inspire me again and pull me back into the swing of roleplaying.
Now, before we get into details, here's some stuff about me and my love for all things Star Wars. I am a die-hard SW fan. Own all the movies, and plan to get the 7th the moment it comes out (and go see it in theaters), played numerous video games (both Battlefronts, The Apprentice, and SWTOR), and read many of the comics. I very much enjoy the Star Wars: The Old Republic lore, and the MMO is currently one of the few games I do play. And just a fun fact; I love the Sith to pieces. Empire all the way!
With all that being said, I don't have too many rules. Simple stuff: 1. Grammar, literacy, etc., is a must. 2. No god-modding. Even if you're playing a Sith Lord who can soak up damage like a sponge to water, just remember; even Darth Vader died, and that guy was like, 90% machine. 3. I do prefer to roleplay through PMs. 4. Unless you can provide a great plot for something non-romantic, I do expect some romance to happen between our characters. That being said, I'll do anything. MxM, MxF, and FxF. Though, due to lack of experience, I won'r roleplay explicit scenes with an FxF pairing. 5. I prefer at the very least one paragraph of text per response. Anything above is appreciated, and if you send me like a whole book's worth of a response, I may just love you. 6. If you feel the need to drop the roleplay, please, just say so! I may not be the best partner for you to roleplay with, and I totally understand that! 7. I would want work on the plots and ideas to be done by both of us. If you want to toss something in the roleplay as a plot twist, feel free; I may do the same. But know that I may or may not like certain plot twists, just as I'm sure you guys may or may not! All in all, feel free to experiment and have fun, but don't get too crazy with it! 8. Since the Star Wars universe has so many diverse races, I'd like to set a few parameters: it has to be humanoid. Not human, necessarily, but humanoid. Cathar, Miraluka, Sith Purebloods, and similar are allowed, but sorry, no Jawas or Bith!
If you have any questions about other rules, feel free to ask. I'm friendly!
So, with all of that said, here are some pairings that I can come up with, and a few plots.
Sith Lord/Lady x Apprentice A strong and powerful Sith has taken an Apprentice, and intends to teach them the ways of the Dark Side. The two become exceedingly close during training. The Apprentice is sent out on a mission to test his skills, and is nearly killed, but is saved by their master. Failure in the Sith Code is punished by death, in most cases, so this is extremely rare, and surprising. From there, I'm not certain where it would go. Feel free to help out!
Jedi Master x Sith Lord/Lady A Jedi Master and a Sith Lord/Lady are out to find an ancient holocron, said to hold information on a cure to a deadly plague that is killing force-users. The Sith wish to use the holocron's data to cure their own, but center the plague on the Jedi to wipe them out. The Jedi wish to use it to distribute the cure as a vaccine, to help all force-users they can get to in time, and prevent further infections. Both the Jedi Master and the Sith Lord/Lady find the location of the holocron at the same time, deep within ancient ruins on the planet Athiss. They battle over the holocron, but exhaust and wound each other so badly that they stop, ending the fight in a stalemate. Deliberating between each other on their uses for the holocron and what they will do with it.
Too weak to reach the holocron at this point (presumably up on a very high pedestal or locked in a shrine), and too weak to risk traveling, the Jedi and Sith cannot even leave the chamber where the holocron is. They must rest and recover from their wounds, and despite their differences, there in that chamber, a romance blooms. It is against both Jedi code and Sith code for it to be, so they must keep it a secret. Once the two have gathered their strength, they both leave, knowing the location of the holocron and sending troops to fight over it, not wanting to fight each other over it again. As things progress, the two must hide their relationship. Not too long after the battle over the holocron, it is discovered that a rogue force-wielder has obtained the relic before Republic or Imperial troops could get to it. Now the hunt shifts and the Jedi and Sith secretly convene to seek out the rogue force-wielder together. What happens then, is up to us.
Jedi Padawan x Sith Apprentice Bounty Hunter x Bounty Republic Senator x Jedi Republic Senator x Sith
Feel free, as well, to inquire about other pairing options you can come up with, and add to plots or think of an idea or two that we can work on! I really want to do this kind of roleplay, and well! I just ask that you try as much as I do. I really want this type of roleplay to work out.
So here's some pics of me. I'm a short little thing. Excuse the terrible resolution on some of these photos, and the giant sizes. The farther down you go on the list the older these pictures get.
Enjoy! I know I'm not the best looking in the world, but hey, we gotta deal with what our genes gave us. Though, I'll never understand why I had to be the shortest in my family; only 5'3". :(
I'm interested in "My Mother's Boyfriend", "The Killer's Pet", and "Welcome to the Club!". Any of them will work. I'm highly interested in "The Killer's Pet", though I'm not too well-versed in harsh violence. I'm very willing to try my best though! I have virtually no limits as far as content in roleplays goes. But the other two would be great too!
Hello, everyone! Dewey here yet again with a new, updated interest check. This is my 4th check, I think? I'm just your average guy who enjoys writing and developing stories, and I'm willing to do almost anything. As with everyone, I have certain limits, but mine are simple and I try not to go on and on about them, aside from what's necessary. So, here's some things you should know before I list my ideas:
-All Characters must be, at the least, 18 years old if the intention of the plot is for romance to happen. There can be certain exemptions from this, most notably if a lengthy amount of time is to be spanned where the character would start at an age younger, but at the end of the time would be at least 18 before a romance happened.
-While I prefer MxM, I will do MxF, but I will only do FxF if you can convince me.
-If you become disinterested in a roleplay, or are going to be gone for an extended amount of time, I'd like to know. I consider it polite to actually tell someone. Recently I've had many roleplaying partners simply disappear and stop responding, despite how much work we'd put into the roleplays. And, I've also had people blatantly ignore me upon contacting them to see about what happened. Talk about rude.
-I am very lax on the amount of time between responses. Most of my roleplays are one-a-day type, or even one-a-week or longer. If we invest into an RP, and it's worth responding to, I don't care how long it takes.
-I do enjoy OOC and love to make friends with those I roleplay with. Feel free to chat outside of the roleplay.
-I have almost no limits on sexual encounters within roleplays, but I will let you know if there is something I don't approve of or that I don't want to see.
-I have almost no limits on violence and other dark themes within roleplays, but as said previously, I will let you know if something comes up.
-I tend to try to write at least two paragraphs per response in a roleplay, but depending on the situation, I may put more or less. However, I will never leave you with less than one full paragraph. I expect the same from you.
-I am not a perfect roleplaying partner, so I will make mistakes here and there with typos and other small errors, but otherwise I am completely and fully literate and capable of writing in detail and with proper sentence structure. Literacy and a coherent writing ability are a must if you are to roleplay with me. I can't stand text speak or constant spelling errors.
-As far as character creation goes, I prefer to use character sheets to describe/display a character before the roleplay starts. I use real images or a description for appearances. I am not into anime, so I prefer not to reference characters with those types of images. However, if you prefer not to have character sheets, just let me know! I'm pretty lax on this too.
-I am perfectly alright with characters being of any race, ethnicity, etc. Just because I'm white doesn't mean I won't roleplay with a character who isn't, in both senses. I want to diversify my characters, and if you want to as well, feel free!
-I prefer to roleplay through PMs, due to the mature nature of most roleplays I do.
-Non-romantic roleplays are perfectly alright.
-Also, I had a situation with another roleplayer where PMs apparently didn't get sent or weren't going through, so we moved to email. If you think this to be the case, simply ask for my email address and we'll move from the site in order to bypass any errors that may happen here.
That seems to be all as far as rules I can think of, so now that you've read all that, here are my ideas! I hope you find something you like! Just a note that these are set in the modern day, unless otherwise specified, and as well you can mix and match the ideas listed. :)
Ideas with a * preceding the hider are ones I am very interested in doing, but these ones are not exclusive to what I will do! Any of the ones listed I will be willing to roleplay. Ones that I am not accepting partners for will have a < preceding them, whether it be because my interest has faded or that I'm already doing an RP of that kind, but I wish to keep the idea listed for later, or if I'm currently in an active roleplay with that setting.

Set in the Overwatch world, it would likely take place either during Overwatch's active state, or during the recall. I'd prefer to stray away from the canon characters and create OCs since there are many Overwatch members that aren't mentioned in the lore. However, if you have a plot for canon characters, or would like to play a canon character while I play an OC, that's fine. Also, this is one of few plots that I am very open to FxF in.
Set in the Fallout Universe in any of the latest 3 locations (New Vegas, D.C., and Boston), there's a hell of a lot that we can do with this.
Set in the Mass Effect universe. It's been a while since I've played the series, but a simple google search will easily refresh my mind.

Way back when I first joined this site, there was a wonderful idea I had that I'd love to revive. The past few people who have picked up this plot have been absolutely wonderful, but unable to dedicate themselves to it and wound up disappearing or dropping it.
"Cryo", meaning cold, and "Schema", meaning a representation of a theory in an outline or model; those words combine to form the life of one individual.
In World War Two many secrets were left undiscovered for hundreds of years, but one was maintained and even supported upon its discovery in 2459. Scientists in the thriving city of Berlin, Germany, teamed with archaeologists, dug deep into the ground that had long been untapped, searching for relics of history long forgotten. What they discovered was far beyond their greatest imaginations. A laboratory deep underground, revealing many experiments and machines left preserved for over four hundred years. Much to their horror, they discovered that many of these machines encased the bodies of what had been victims of gruesome experiments.
It seemed through the many different experiments, all had failed, and the machines had been weathered and broken down for quite some time. Though as they descended a flight of stairs, deeper into the laboratory, the cold increased to freezing temperatures. At the end of the stairs, a thick steel door encased in ice blocked the path to the secrets that lay within. After burning away the ice, the scientists opened the door, expecting more atrocities. What they found stunned them, and would continue to stun them for years and years.
A chamber, resembling the negative pressure ventilators used for victims of poliomyelitis in the 1900's, sat in the center of an ice-slicked floor. It rumbled and screeched as it functioned centuries after it had been created. Ice had formed thickly along its base; a malfunction from the cold it was found to be producing. Desks lined the walls of the room, with binders of paperwork still open, as if the laboratory had simply abandoned the experiments to die in a frozen grave. Upon further inspection of the chamber, a perfectly preserved human lay within, hooked up to countless machines. They could see the individual breathing from the machine that pumped air in and out of their lungs, the pale skin so pristine. It was a monumental discovery.
With much speculation around the individual in the chamber, the scientists studied for three whole years on how the machine functioned, making yet another incredible disclosure: the being in the chamber was still alive. After centuries, the person had resided in a comatose-like state, frozen in an endless sleep. How or why the chamber had functioned properly for so long was beyond cognition, and questions quickly arose as to whether the frozen person would survive being released. Considering all options, and taking into consideration every possibility, the decision-makers concluded on the only real choice they had in order to discover more.
After taking all precautions, the scientists carefully and tediously removed the casing of the chamber from around the enclosed person, leaving only the stripped-down vital essentials. They then removed the individual from the laboratories, moving them to their own safer ones. After allowing the person's body heat to slowly rise over a course of a month to a regular temperature, the only options left were to, piece by piece, remove the bits of centuries-old machinery that were regulating every other function. The last to be removed was the breathing apparatus, and much to the scientist's shock, the pristine kept person began to respire without assistance. It was miraculous and one of the most incredible discoveries ever made.
It took days for the person to awake from their slumber. Eyes opened to a room full of highly-advanced technology, lying in an unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar place. They were scared and confused. Their muscles were so stiff they could hardly move, and it hurt to breathe, hurt to see, hurt to do anything and everything. They cried out for help, and a scientist soon came in, quietly calming the centuries old being. After a few minutes of gentle and calm exercises, the person was able to breath and move at least slightly better. Their memory was all a blur and nothing was piecing together in the puzzle of their mind. Questions were asked and an identity was soon remembered.
There was no telling how this individual would react to being alive in such a time, so a scientist was assigned to very slowly and gradually introduce the experiment to the new age, starting with the very simplest of things, like food and drink, and whatever else the person asked about that wasn't too confusing. This person, this frozen experiment of World War Two scientists, had been saved from an unknown death and brought into the world of 2459, was the Cryo-Schema. The cold model of the theory that a human life could be preserved for hundreds of years.
Now, this roleplay, ideally, would start the day of the awakening of the Cryo-Schema. The scientist and the Cryo-Schema would interact on a day to day basis, with the scientist slowly explaining history and civilization to the experiment while gradually introducing them to their new life. Reminder, the Cryo-Schema was frozen anywhere around 1940-1945, so they wouldn't know anything past that point. They'd be very confused and frightened by the technology but also be intrigued and curious. The scientist would be understanding and communicative, with a talent for educating and explaining.
I'd also enjoy if eventually a romance bloomed between the Cryo-Schema and the scientist assigned to them. So, if you're interested in this, PM please.

I'd likely want to set it sometime during the Old Republic, where the Empire and Republic had an unstable peace after the Treaty of Coruscant, but were always plotting against each other. I play the SWTOR MMO, and love the different stories and the settings there. If you're willing to do a Star Wars roleplay, even if you want to do a completely different setting, I'm all for it! I just want a Star Wars roleplay. So, so deeply. I will love you forever if you can do one with me.
In a mental institution, a mentally unstable resident of the asylum grows an unhealthy obsession with an employee, leading to confrontations between the deranged mental patient and the medical professional who must take care of them.
I'm into most slice of life roleplays. Particularly cops and criminals, struggling addicts... Pretty much dark-themed slice of life, but I can do more lighthearted ones if you can make it interesting with me.
In the distant future, robots and androids are commonplace. They are owned by even your average worker, used for just about everything you can think of, but there are certain lines that have yet to be crossed. No android truly has free-thinking. Their programming, their intelligence, has yet to be their own. One scientist seeks to break these boundaries by creating the first intelligent machine with free will. Many believe it to be an act against humanity to give a machine a mind, but the scientist believes otherwise.
So with all of that stated, I hope you find something we can work together! Please PM me if interested! I don't often check to see if anyone has responded on this post.
