"There was once a young Dreamwatcher girl who defied all logic to the Austean ways. She could communicate with the environment around her without needing any assistance from the Atomlords or the Kinbound. Why? Because she knew what it meant to be alive and to love everything around her.
But there's something else. She knew about my dreams without even using her powers. This girl was absent from any training required for her abilities and she knew how to do all this? Perhaps she's the best Austean out of all of us."
-Rorwind the Villain explaining the lore surrounding Din the Heroine.

In-Depth Appearance
1st Universe: Older, taller, and with gorgeous blood-red hair. When her powers are in use, her eyes are encompassed with explosive but silent chaotic solar systems. On her cheeks, there are two glowing dark marks along her left one with three pointy spears and circles under each one, and on the right cheek, there were two lines starting at her cheekbone smudged across with two circles under the last line.
2nd/Current Universe: Din exhibits the same marks as the 1st Universe Din, but does not possess the red hair, (which she realized that is possibly hair dye). Instead, her natural dark longs hang down to her elbows but she keeps it tucked away neatly in all sorts of different braid styles. Both girls have green eyes like peridot, something the twins inherited from their birthmother, and their smiles from their father.
Personality
- Dynamic - Stubborn
- Courageous - Impulsive
- Imaginative - Possessive
In either Universe, Din is a happy person over all. Although she’s had a lot of strife in her life, she smiles because she remembers she’s alive, a living-breathing-Atom-wielding-being. She attempts to crack jokes as much as possible, much like her biological father, Komen. She’s as cautious as her mother, Via the Seer of Era. She’s always willing to trust at first until proven otherwise and holds grudges for as long as she lives.
Equipment
She owns her own spaceship named the EnGINeer V. 3.14, lovingly nicknamed Gin, as well as a tablet-like device capable of surfing the internet anywhere for information or to keep loved ones in communication. For weapons, aside from being able to construct one using iron, she carries with her at all times a keepsake from Nova she calls, “Luna”.
Abilities
Dreamwatcher
The ones who are able to use their energy to show an audience a past dream, story, or premonition. The energy is expelled from their wrists to the palms and it emits a show of light like an aurora borealis.
The biggest daydreamers in their galaxy, they use their energy via an aurora borealis-like light coming from their hands or wrists in order to show (1) a dream, (2) story, or (3) premonition if it’s passed on from the mother to daughter. For self-defense, they can create a (4) shield) or (5) weapon by pulling a few elements together; most are severely limited by how many they are able to tame, however. Some are able to (6) dreamjoin with others that are asleep at the same time, regardless of location whether it’s on the planet or (7) across the universe if they’re strong and willed enough.

1st Universe: Din inherited her mother’s power of premonition and can see into a snippet of a particular event at will. However, the ability to change the course of events is possible and thus make it either a true vision or a possible vision from another parallel universe. In this universe, Din is able to construct her weapon and shield from harvesting iron and oxygen, (like her twin sister, Nyt). She can also harvest hydrogen and helium, making her a rather strong Dreamwatcher in her village.
2nd/Current Universe: The Din in this Universe grew up in a spaceship with her nanny of an A.I that was built by Earthlings long ago to gather information from the universe. Unfortunately, the spacebot named Nova thought Din was an Earthling and didn’t know about her abilities until the girl was six Earth years old, when she began to have incredibly vivid dreams in which she met other real people and tell the bot about it with her powers. Once it was established she was actually an Austean, Nova did what any good motherbot would do and helped the girl develop her abilities. She immediately learned how to pick up iron and oxygen to construct weapons and slowly her premonitions began to kick in, (yet not at full strength). Soon, she was able to harvest hydrogen but helium is still an enigma to her.
Limitations
1st Universe: Over time, Din became strong enough to control her powers completely to the brink of not using up so much energy after an intense battle. Unfortunately, even she can’t dreamjoin someone across the universe and finds it difficult to even attempt to do so, wiping herself out in the Dream World.
2nd/Current Universe: Din has yet to learn how to control the premonitions and has them occasionally when things build up in terms of the Universe, (such as an powerful solar flare or EMP). She’s still learning to control helium at this stage, but finds herself being able to talk to a lot of different atoms, like the Atomlords of her world, making her somewhat of an “anamoly” but not completely enough to classify her as ‘diseased’.
Family
Adoptive Family
Nova: An A.I robot created specifically to be sent out into space to gather information, Nova did her duty for several decades before coming across Din in her spacepod. After her sensitive antennas picked up a child’s cry in the cold universe, far away from Earth, she abandoned her post to raise the young child she mistook for an Earthling. Nova appears like most A.I.s but has an interface instead of features, to quickly show information. She communicates in beeps and sometimes pieces together voice clips to seem more human to Din, but realized that the girl loved her anyway.
Biological Family
Father: Komen Firefly, age unknown; the only thing Nyt seems to remember is warmth and love when she was in the spacecraft when she landed on Earth. An alien mentioned that he was a talented “Wavetraveler”.
Mother: Via Firefly, age unknown; the alien mentioned that she was a “special Dreamwatcher capable of premonitions”.
Sister: Nyt, aged three years younger than Din; she left her younger twin to live her life on Earth, safe and sound.
History
1st Universe
Planet Austea of the S'Onfyr System in the Kryton Galaxy; Via gives birth to her twin daughters, Din and Nyt Firefly, while her husband Komen looks on his new family with love and tears. “Are you sure it’s absolutely necessary?” he fearfully asked the odd pair: it was an older woman in the hooded cape and green eyes, towering over her counterpart at 5’7” tall versus the petite 4’11” tall girl with raven locks. However, it wasn’t the same shade of green of their irises that astonished him, nor the fact that it was the same like his wife’s or his children’s eyes: it was the fact that they were utterly apologetic and the utmost sincere. “I’m so sorry. It has to be like this. I wish I could tell you otherwise, but we’ve traveled different parallel universes until there was a humane solution. This was the safest for everyone.”
“All we want is to make our home here with our girls in Era. We can run away anywhere here – we’ll be the quietest family you’ve never heard of!” Via wept, her face soaked in tears and sweat. She hugged her daughters close, her heart pounding. “They’re just infants! How can they be as powerful as you claim?”
“Because,” started the hooded woman who began to tug at it until it fell on her shoulders. Her hair was like a beautiful bloodbath of silky strands and it shined with the light of the moon. Via instantly recognized her. “I am Din Firefly. It took us years to find a way to stop the evil king from beginning his reign and now, it’s too late. In a parallel universe, he has Nyt in his hands right now ready to use her powers, and the only thing that could work in sending your daughters away from here so they don’t fall into his hands again. The result is… this Din right here.” The small girl with the dark hair offered the new parents a smile.
“I’m the secret weapon against him.”
2nd Universe
Din Nova, the young Not-Earthling found in space by Nova Version 9 a decade and six years ago. The girl was as happy as could be and healthy considering the circumstances in space. Unfortunately, Nova gave the ultimate sacrifice to save Din from a black hole and pushed the girl away from the event horizon before she was sucked in by the momentum. Brokenhearted, Din thought she had lost Nova forever until a piece of the bot’s hard-drive shot out of the black hole and she caught it before leaving the area. Din still grieves four years later and blames Rorwind, the evil King of Xath on Austea, for being a part of her new timeline and causing her to be an only child in space, (while her sister made it to Earth safe and sound).
