Honestly....I don't know shit about shadowhunters but....I'm going to try and wing it.

I'm sure it'll be okay, if you need we can always help you out with anything.
You guys are all so excited I'm kind of nervous. I kind of just want to start things slow and introduce the characters, so sorry if that first post seems a bit boring.
"And that is what I want you all to be practicing today," Professor Flynn has just finished saying. They've been learning how to cover their desks in flowers and grass and as many things as they can fit on the small surface. Some people are flourishing with it, but Sophia is having a bit of trouble with this one. Earth magic has always been her worst. Professor Flynn is her favorite though, he's fresh out of the academy himself and he lets them do so much practical work, so it doesn't become long days of lectures. They've only started to begin more of their harder magic classes, most of them having just found their eggs and some still looking. Of course it could be harder, but the academy likes to work them up to the harder things and not just moving quickly.

Sophia can get white flowers to grow over her desk a little, but it's not going the best it could. Along with that they have training after this and she's been eager to work on moves they'll need with their dragons now. They've got to be able to protect the eggs until they hatch and then they've got to make sure that they don't let their dragons get in harms way without helping some.

Earth magic is the worst. It really really is and of course the kid next to her is getting it as if it's nothing. Stupid earth magic users and their ability to make anything grow anywhere. "Alright, it'd be best if you could make some vines go around your desk as well if you can do the flowers," Professor Flynn calls out to the class. "And maybe help out your neighbors if they're struggling." Sophia reaches out to touch one of the flowers and watches it wilt with a groan.
Hmm... Both concepts are very interesting. I'm down for either of those but I think I might be leaning more to the overseas just because I've never built a house before in a roleplay. But I wouldn't mind a little high school drama either.

Is there a specific age group for overseas?

I would definitely say like 20's. I think that'd be the best age group to be going to work overseas. I honestly just thought of the house building because I did it in Mexico and it'd be easiest for me to know what they would need to do.
So, when are we getting this started?

I wanted to have something up today, but I had a meeting to see how much I could spend to buy a house so I didn't get anything done. I'll get something written tomorrow though, it's getting late now.
I'd be interested in this~

Awesome, thank you! Which idea would you like more?
@Eragon

That looks good, you can go ahead and add it to the character tab.

@unfallenangel

I'd be willing to let one more person in. I had initially said 6-9 and this would just be 9. You would absolutely be the last person though. I'm going to mark this as full.
@DisguisedDemon well I had about 7 people interested before i put up the rp and i have messaged them but only a couple of put up there characters.
I am going to message everyone again and and if they dont at least message me back i will start the rp with the characters i have so far
Also DisguisedDemon have you read the books? if so do you think you you might be interested in being my co-GM?

I've read through book three or most of book three anyway. So I don't know everything, but I've gotten spoilers on most stuff honestly so I would definitely be okay with that. Maybe another interest check should be put up to see if new people would have interest? Or is that too much? Sometimes lots of messages can make people skip over an rp.
Bump.
<Snipped quote by DisguisedDemon>

honesty is great.

low casual easy to maintain rp. Right there, easy to maintain is amazing. It's so difficult to have everyone keep the posting up, if this story can keep people interested, then it will be amazing.

Bottom Line, I'm down for joining this.

Awesome, thank you! I'm hoping it can keep people's interest, but first there need to be more people with interest to start. I've been in a few before that were simple, but stayed alive for quite a while (until the site crashed anyway), so that's kind of what I'm aiming for.
