Corban has a lot of history with Shin-Ra IC, actually. I'll take a transport!

Assuming were travelling as a caravan, and not a randomly joined group of adventurers, I'd say the Shin-Ra corporation would provide a decent plot device for explaining our characters being together.

@Thantos It would be quite simple, looking at it from a logical standpoint assuming he functions like a lich, which it seems he does. Simply casting res, or a healing spell on you would effectively equalize the negative balance(-1) incurred from unlife and would then be at an equilibrium(0), which would effectively render him just a corpse. In other words.... dead.

But that's just the logical standpoint.

I like the idea of a team. A caravan of sorts navigating the treachery of the lich's(?) land to ultimately face down with him.

Actually sounds a lot like 'Defeat the Godmodder' the more this idea festers.

Sorry if this seems rather brusque, but don't you think five days is a bit lenient for him to simply say he has an interest in posting, after it has been 8 already, and he has been online multiple times within those days with no word?

I'm just requesting that out of common courtesy to me that he has 24 hours to inform you he intends to post, and then 24 hours following to get out a post, offering a total of 48 extra hours(10 total days, assuming he waits until the very last minute for both) to respond. Does this sound fair?

Edit: Considering it's been 9 days by this point, actually, it's closer to 11 days absent.

Ah, right! Baldur. Weird I didn't remember that considering how into Baldur's Gate I was.

But yeah, I can agree. The game itself was bad, but the concept was interesting. I just felt it was half-boiled.
