Zai watched as his opponent crumpled on the floor, he was surprised her armor was able to keep her not only alive but conscious. He wanted to end this quickly so he reloaded his weapon, preparing to fire at her head on the floor. But just as he was about to pull the trigger, a final shot from his opponent's pistol blasted the submachine gun out of his hand. As if to defy a pitiful death.

Zai very slightly bowed his head in respect before leaping to fall on top of her, with his advanced edge sword driving downwards to pierce her heart.

The Intro & What To Expect

The meat and potatoes to any good RP is dedicated players, interesting characters and an active plot. this shouldn't be hard to achieve at all. So I propose to keep things nice and simple (at least to start with).

First, clear choices in a 'Choose your own adventure' style will be given at the end of most of the narrator's posts. You will still have a free agency within the posts to act and say whatever you wish, but to keep the story focused I will employ this technique.

Second, there wont be any long waiting period to start or prologues to pour over. You will have a world, and a starting location and you will figure out the world and the plot from the IC as you play it. Choices and survival will be difficult and combat will challenge you as a character and a player.

Third, we only need two players to get started, the rest will join the party 'fellowship style' as the story advances. The writing level will be low-advanced. Let's have some fun!

Greetings! Welcome to the Harem Centre brought to you by the same folks behind the lovely Shine City Series!

We aim to provide you with the ultimate Harem Experience! Be the center of attention in one of our many pre-set scenarios for you! You might be a Male or Female who loves the company of a harem of attractive females....

To best customize to your preference we have a few different scenarios for you to have a Harem or Reverse harem story in. All characters will be pre-set by the Harem Centre Staff inside we will have a few examples of male and female characters in each scenario.

The New Dojo

Premise:
Your clan was poor and your village was suffering multiple attacks from bandits almost every month. But although you are still quite young (19-22) you still managed to become a star at your local dojo. So much that the village elder took notice and wanted you to transfer and train at the outskirts of the Shine Province, where all the best and brightest young warriors train in the region. But it will be a new experience for you, you've never left the village until now, and surely there will be those looking to test if you are as really as good as they say.....

Sample Male Character

Name: Junpei Akiyama
Age: 19
Description: A young man from a friendly village that neighbors yours. He is the only person at the new Dojo you met once before, he is caring, encouraging and easy going. He trains in a special dual wakazashi technique which got the attention of the Shine Province Dojo. He has no family and worked as a farm hand before transferring.

Sample Female Character

Name: 'Irene'
Age: 23
Description: A very mysterious young woman said to be the sole daughter of a feared Yakuza Boss. Her real name is not known and goes by 'Irene' which is rumored to be the name of the first person she killed as a constant reminder. She is cold, focused and unorthodox. She seems to only speak when it concerns training or competetion and doesn't seem to have many friends. He fighting style is the 'Draw Style' of katanna, often fighting with her bare hands and the scabbard as well as the blade itself.

The Urban Racing Legend

Premise:
As a teenager you only had one thing on your mind, at that was cars, bikes and anything on wheels that moved fast. You would pester your parents to go go-karting as often as possible, and you were joyriding as soon as you can see over the wheel. By 18 you were already the top ranked racer in the underground circuit. You were unstoppable, you had money and fame. But nothing lasts forever, and it wasnt long before you got arrested.

You spent a year in Juvenille Detention and never got to return to racing. Eventually you decided it was time to 'grow up' and get real job. So you work in an office in a city far away, its boring as sin, but you are keeping out of trouble.

Now its been 5 years since you had your last race and you are miserable, until one night you get an anonymous email. Its from the local racers in this new city, they know of your legend and want you to come watch them race! Well....maybe it wont hurt just to watch...right? :D

Sample Male Character

Name: Gerry 'Mako' Mak
Age: 21
Description: A young man from one of the worst parts of the city, his only possession of any value is his chopper. He lives day to day on the prize money from racing, and has a lot of contempt for the 'rich kids' who take up racing as a hobby. For him it's a serious way of life. Gerry is also very aware of you and your achievements but holds you in contempt because you left the life for so long. His mood seems to be always sour, but he's an absolute demon on the bike.

Sample Female Character

Name: Sayri Sands
Age: 20
Description: The local prodigy, 'Bubblegum Lightning' conquered the Torque City Indy Circuit at age 17, the youngest ever champion. But she had no interest in the pro-circuits, she wanted the real competition, and that was on the streets, on the underground scene. She is a big fan of yours, you inspired her to start racing when she was young. But now she wants to prove herself to you the lane for the 'elite' in this scene is very, very narrow.

The Case Beyond The Grave

Premise:
You werent on the police force for long, in fact you enjoyed your time more at the academy, it was much less cynical than being a cop in your local town. Barely anything ever happened and the pay sucked. so only after 2 years you gave up the badge to be a Private investigator, you moved to a remote village on the outskirts of Neo City called St Corvin. The people there seem to very convinced that there are not only ghosts but demonic forces at work there. You didn't take it seriously but you were more than happy to take their money to 'investigate' such claims. It was only after a week in the village you made contact with some of the spirits lingering in the town, the ghosts were REAL and even they needed your help...

Name: 'Jacob'
Age: 24 (time of death)
Description: Very little is known about this young man, apparently he was kidnapped by a mysterious group, but the details of his death are unknown even to him. He is polite and helpful and seems to want to help you with your work in anyway he can. His voice is soft and it always sounds like he is in very slight fear or something.

Sample Female Character

Name: Rosie Thorn
Age: 18 (time of death)
Description: She haunts the largest house in the village, she was the eldest daughter of the patriarch Hamlin Thorn, and the entire family were murdered in their sleep, except for Rosie herself who woke up to the screams of her family and tried to escape but failed. Although her tale is somewhat depressing, she maintains a fairly friendly and upbeat attitude and is always excited to show new 'guests' around the family mansion.

Nice & Easy To Follow!

-All of these stories are 18+ including smut and general adult themes like murder and conspiracy.

-All characters are pre-set but you will have a small amount of creative control over your own character.

-To create a Harem experience takes a lot of time, dedication and energy! If you dont feel like you can commit to these stories please don't waste the staff's time!

-Not all stories will be available at all times, it depends on which ones we are running at the time and what we have room for.

-When asking to play a scenario please specifiy which gender you are, which harem you want and if you want the story in long form or short form. (Short form stories are more 'to the point' scenarios with less character development and quicker interactions, perfect for a quick fantasy craving. Long form are proper Roleplayers with a strong plot and a more realistic pacing for relationship building, again please don't ask for this if you cant commit!)

-Willing to take suggestions for new scenarios in this thread, but please don't try and shoehorn your own ideas into existing scenarios, they have been carefully thought out for a reason.

-A minimum of Casual level of writing is needed for these scenarios. No exceptions. But there will be space for 'quicker & shorter' posts if needed in certain situations.

-More scenarios will be added! Keep an eye on this thread for when something new gets added!

-None of these scenarios are actually 'complete' yet, all of them are work in progress which require a LOT of writing for each branching story path. You will get a message once you have hit the end of the current season's quota of content, but don't despair as it will be picked up as soon as the next entries are written!

-If you have read all these rules, make sure you write 'Shine City Forever' at the end of your scenario request
