Sirina stirred, rubbing her eyes and making a small noise as she stretched, yawning widely. She was up a bit later than usual this morning.. she must have been more tired than she had expected. She sat up in bed, staring at the mirror across the room, which showed her hair was a massive mess of tangles. Great. She laughed as she saw the front of her hair, which looked rather like someone had run it over with a steam roller.

She glanced over to her wheelchair which was waiting beside her bed, close enough she would be easily able to lower herself into it. She lifted herself from the bed using her arms, scooting over to lower herself into the chair.

Nana's ears flicked as soon as she had heard her trainer get up, and raised her head, wiggling her tail happily as she watched her trainer get up. She nudged Spud, waking the Quagsire, who yawned blearily before toddling over to her side. He followed her into the bathroom, where Nana did not dare to tread. As a fire type she was not really okay with getting her fur wet. Spud could handle this for now.

Sirina had Spud help her get showered, dressed and ready, laughing as he squirted her once or twice with lukewarm water. She finished drying her hair and body and got dressed, going back to her wheelchair and making sure she had everything in her backpack. Right.. good.. all set. She wheeled her chair out of the bathroom, stopping next to Nana and applying her break so she could bury her face in the creature's fur, her hands weaving through the fluff as she took in the familiar comforting scent of her fire type.

Meanwhile, Tamaki had just gotten up and was rolling around on the ground playing with a ball of lint in the corner of the room.

"Morning sweetheart." she murmured, scratching the dog behind the ears.

Nana just wiggled her tail as she received her morning scratches, right where she was most itchy. Sirina always made sure to do this every morning. At first, Nana had been really confused about these interactions.. but after a while she started looking forwards to them.

After shoveling down some breakfast, Sirina made her way out to the main room of the Pokemon Center, where she heard voices talking to each other. Of course.. there was Pent and Devon.. and then two more voices she didn't know. She rolled towards the group, a gentle smile on her face.

"Morning Devon, Pent." She stated, glancing towards the two younger children, a soft expression crossed her face. "Hi. I'm Sirina, who are you two?" she asked with a warm and friendly smile. Her eyes drifted to the strange green and white and green pokemon beside them. It looked like a deer of some kind. "Oh.. that is cute. Never seen a pokemon like that before." she admitted. "What's its name?"

Nana gave a glare to the two newcomers, and a grumbled greeting to Pent and Devon, flicking her tail impatiently. Then her eyes focused on the Shaymin. A look of confusion passed across her face for a second before Nana narrowed her eyes into slits. A Shaymin.. a grass type which was known for being able to change shape when exposed to a certain item.. a flower or something. Actually.. it was in its other shape now.. which was weird. What was a rare pokemon like that doing here in a place like this? She didn't let her worry show outwardly, instead just keeping her eyes focused on the tiny creature.

In the meantime, Spud had waddled over to Devon and Pent, greeting the two with a broad smile before turning to the newcomers and waddling closer to them, reaching over and fist bumping both of them, leaving some of his slimy residue on their hands. <Oh.. wait.. what kind of pokemon are you?> he moved over to the Shaymin, tilting his head to the side. He'd never seen a pokemon like this in all of his life before.. it was tiny and green and white.. and actually quite adorable.

Nana flicked her tail impatiently. <That is a Shaymin.> she stated, ears flicking forward. <A rare Pokemon akin to those ones the humans call 'legendary.'> she sat up slightly taller, narrowing her eyes even further. <I would be curious as to why you have come to this place.>

Tamaki slithered out from behind Spud, wiggling excitedly as he saw the small pokemon, a smile stretching across his face. <HI!> he called happily. <I'm Tamaki, and that's Spud and Nana!> He vibrated almost too excitedly as he greeted the Shaymin.
@Ninian

oh okay XD

then i will post ASAP
@Classpet

as a senior.. Emira wouldn't attend class with the others.. T>T

i didn't think of that before but now i am thinking about it

i could have her stay the same age and say this is her last year still, because of her brother's illness i could easily say she missed a year of school and had to repeat?

sorry i was just thinking, (also, if it doesn't matter i will edit in a response to the class in the post i posted)

@RumikoOhara
Emira Levi Firestorm

Emira rested her head on her knees. "I know you are constantly with the dead... i mean.. i am while i am at home.. That Polgergeist living in my attic and all." she shrugged. "Its alright, you might be close to me like a sister, but we were still raised differently. You can believe as you like, as long as I can believe as I like. It is only our right to have our separate opinions which makes life interesting."

Emira smiled at her friend, clicking her tongue. "If you like. Just be careful that they don't end up getting taken because someone likes them so much." she was actually guilty of that same thing, taking a book out on spells, charms, and hexes as soon as she'd come to hogwarts. She'd spent most of her first through third year practicing various spells from the books. Then when she'd gotten good enough to do them without looking, she'd attempted a few without using words. So far.. she was only capable of lighting things on fire and blowing things up. Naturally her two best spells. She waved her wand, muttering a spell under her breath, conjuring butterflies from the tip of her wand. The glowing creatures fluttered around the room before vanishing in a shower of sparkles. "Man.. its going to be so weird not coming back to this place." she climbed up to the window seat again and glanced out the window.

"You know.. i'm supposed to decide what i am doing for the rest of my life this year." she stated. "I know i don't want to be an Auror.. too much paperwork. I.. i didn't tell my uncle this, but i am thinking about going to study dragons for a year or two. Then.. i don't know. I wish there was a job as volatile as I am... where i could go where i like.. and just.. see everything in the world whenever i like. I just.. i want to be free.. you know?" She smiled. "Actually.. you should remember how much my obession was with escaping everything when we were kids. You remember fifth year? When i transfigured my arms into wings? I thought.. that if i was a bird.. i could just take to the skies... and leave all this behind." she let out a laugh. "I broke all the bones in my legs and arms, and was in the hospital for three days." she laughed. "That's what i get for trying to be an animagus without proper training i guess." She leaned back against the window seat, glancing back over her shoulder as she gazed at Megan. "You know... i don't even know if i want to go study dragons. I mean.. i am good at training THestrals.. and i like them.. should i just take the easy route? Maybe.. but... then what of the world... I want to leave an impact.. i want to do something no one else has done... you know? Just.. i haven't figured out what it is yet.."

Emira may or may not have been the slightest bit late to Potions class. This may have been slightly purposeful, as making a blood replenishing potion was really boring. She wanted to do something more exciting... and this was keeping her from learning something actually important.

Whatever, she would just make the potion, not because she wanted to, but more because she didn't like to see the weakened rats they were supposed to be feeding the potion. The poor creatures deserved her best effort.

Staring at the recipe on her desk she brought her steel cauldron onto the desk, admiring the stupid face she'd carved in the side using a knife when she was in fourth year.

Potions was honestly pretty easy for Emira.. all she did was follow instructions.. sort of like cooking, only with far more volatile results. There were those in the class who were better than her.. but she still had relatively good grades in this class.

She wiggled her fingers at Megan and joined her at the table. "Hey princess." She called with a teasing eyebrow wiggle. "Blood potion, yaay." she stated sarcastically. "Can't wait to use it never again in my life."
I'm so sorry guys, I feel really bad for just abandoning you like I did. Unfortunately four events hit me really hard within a few days of each other, I haven't really felt like doing much of anything.

First, a friend of my dad's wife just passed away after an incredibly long fight with breast cancer. Then one of my mom's work friend's dog got hit by a motorcycle and killed in front of her two kids. Then I found out that growth on my grandpa's pancreas was actually next to it, but cancerous. Finally, a friend's mom killed herself.

As you can probably guess, I haven't really felt like posting too much. I'm gonna try and get back into things, I really will. But that might not be today.

Pants, I love your character, it will be really fun to RP the dynamic between him and Elesia.

oh my goodness, take as long as you need my friend, life takes precidence over RP ^>^
@Shiny Keldeo

Once the character interaction at the Center is done, did you just want to time skip our group to Vertigo? Sirina @Draconequis can always catch up later. I don't think they dropped.

i didn't drop.. i was waiting to get mentioned when others posted again so i could post.. and i never got mentioned T>T

oh well, i will just rejoin and pretend like Sirina was napping or something XD or went off on her own for some reason

Can you guys just mention me when the skip comes up so i can slide back in? too much to catch up on now since they are talking in the pokemon center T>T

@Leaves

Xanthia just turned her eyes to Terra, and then to the Geodude. "Terra! Vine whip! Anubis, get back over here! Don't do that!" Terra turned to the Geodude, shaking her mane as vines streamed out of her body, crashing furiously against the rock type pokemon. Her mother and pokemon school had taught her the basics of type matchups. And with her mom constantly drilling her on the pokemon typings when she was at home.. she'd managed to memorize most of them.. enough to make an educated guess about the pokemon she didn't know. The only pokemon she'd never seen here before was the dog thing. It looked like a dark or ghost type. Her brow furrowed as it charged directly at her Gengar, a surge of unease. "Anubis!" she called again.

But it was too late, and she watched in horror as the dark type pokemon leaped at her ghost. However, his fangs collided with a rock as Anubis performed a substitute, giving a clever cackle as he appeared by the pokemon mid-air letting loose a bright light from his body. A rather impressive Dazzling gleam burst from his body, aimed directly at the dog pokemon. Of course, being trained by a member of the elite four, Anubis had been given a few TM moves to help with type disadvantages. Her mother had thought ahead of course.

Xanthia shielded her eyes as the light exploded from Anubis, lighting up the clearing and temporarily causing Xanthia to be unable to see momentarily. The light reached Terra as well, causing the young pokemon to startle, letting out a bleat as she stopped using vine whip and instead headbutted the rock pokemon with her horns.

Xanthia was shaking her head, trying to get used to the darkness again as Anubis' attack faded.

Xiphias

Xiphias nodded as Stahl spoke. Apparently, he had woken up only recently.. while she had been awake for allmost a week now.. all alone and trying to figure out what was going on by herself. This was why.. she'd been so intrigued by the others who looked like her. Why she still was intrigued by them. "Nice swords." she commented, eyes drifting to the swords at his side.

Pallet town. The name resounded in Xiphias, sounding so very familiar... yet she knew she'd never heard it before. She flicked her ears as the Doublade spoke to her, offering her to join him if she wanted. Actually.. considering she had nearly killed one of their members it would probably be best if she did take up the rear. She still wasn't entirely certain how to use her powers yet.. and being further away from everyone meant that she could maybe have time to figure it out. Though.. maybe with her illusions a better strategy would be to be the scout for the group.. she didn't really feel like showing everyone here what she could do. However, she didn't say a word to Twix, letting him do as he pleased. She could just practice using Night Daze in the back where she could be careful not to hit anyone.. maybe learn to actually aim the move. The idea of partners.. was not something Xiphias wanted. She was sure she was supposed to be a part of a pack.. but she was also sure that she was supposed to be on her own. It was the strangest feeling of contrasting emotions.

Xiphias' scowled she surveyed the Ampharos who woke up. "I did not mean to hit you." She apologized hastily. Her ears flicked uncomfortably and she moved to the back of the line, walking over to Stahl, not waiting for a response.

She would just 'partner' with him. His swords were intriguing.. and she wondered for a moment if she could copy them. The world distorted around her as she focused, an illusionary copy of one of his swords glittering in her hands. Of course, it was just an illusion, so when she tried to use it, it just phased through the tree she'd swung it at and vanished into nothingness. Her illusions were so useless sometimes.

Xiphias simply stared at the back of Stahl's head, admiring his blonde hair. "Stahl." she stated, ears flicking uncomfortably as she stared at him. "If we are working together.. i must warn you... my attack move.. is a bit erratic." She didn't want to go into too much detail about what had just happened, so she kept her words short and cryptic. "Just.. be careful to watch out while i try and get control of it. It's a dark type move which could do a lot of damage to a pokemon of your type." She looked increasingly uncomfortable as she spoke, the guilt of knocking out the poor Ampharos was getting to her.
Pretty good. kinda sad the first manakete she meets hates her.

she doesn't hate her, she just had a bad first impression. This can change XD
@Zorogami

hey, Xiphias actually said something to him in her post. (he said that no one payed him any attention, but she asked him his name and introduced herself to him)

unless he thinks she was talking to the wall for some reason?? XD
