Sirina stirred, rubbing her eyes and making a small noise as she stretched, yawning widely. She was up a bit later than usual this morning.. she must have been more tired than she had expected. She sat up in bed, staring at the mirror across the room, which showed her hair was a massive mess of tangles. Great. She laughed as she saw the front of her hair, which looked rather like someone had run it over with a steam roller.
She glanced over to her wheelchair which was waiting beside her bed, close enough she would be easily able to lower herself into it. She lifted herself from the bed using her arms, scooting over to lower herself into the chair.
Nana's ears flicked as soon as she had heard her trainer get up, and raised her head, wiggling her tail happily as she watched her trainer get up. She nudged Spud, waking the Quagsire, who yawned blearily before toddling over to her side. He followed her into the bathroom, where Nana did not dare to tread. As a fire type she was not really okay with getting her fur wet. Spud could handle this for now.
Sirina had Spud help her get showered, dressed and ready, laughing as he squirted her once or twice with lukewarm water. She finished drying her hair and body and got dressed, going back to her wheelchair and making sure she had everything in her backpack. Right.. good.. all set. She wheeled her chair out of the bathroom, stopping next to Nana and applying her break so she could bury her face in the creature's fur, her hands weaving through the fluff as she took in the familiar comforting scent of her fire type.
Meanwhile, Tamaki had just gotten up and was rolling around on the ground playing with a ball of lint in the corner of the room.
"Morning sweetheart." she murmured, scratching the dog behind the ears.
Nana just wiggled her tail as she received her morning scratches, right where she was most itchy. Sirina always made sure to do this every morning. At first, Nana had been really confused about these interactions.. but after a while she started looking forwards to them.
After shoveling down some breakfast, Sirina made her way out to the main room of the Pokemon Center, where she heard voices talking to each other. Of course.. there was Pent and Devon.. and then two more voices she didn't know. She rolled towards the group, a gentle smile on her face.
"Morning Devon, Pent." She stated, glancing towards the two younger children, a soft expression crossed her face. "Hi. I'm Sirina, who are you two?" she asked with a warm and friendly smile. Her eyes drifted to the strange green and white and green pokemon beside them. It looked like a deer of some kind. "Oh.. that is cute. Never seen a pokemon like that before." she admitted. "What's its name?"
Nana gave a glare to the two newcomers, and a grumbled greeting to Pent and Devon, flicking her tail impatiently. Then her eyes focused on the Shaymin. A look of confusion passed across her face for a second before Nana narrowed her eyes into slits. A Shaymin.. a grass type which was known for being able to change shape when exposed to a certain item.. a flower or something. Actually.. it was in its other shape now.. which was weird. What was a rare pokemon like that doing here in a place like this? She didn't let her worry show outwardly, instead just keeping her eyes focused on the tiny creature.
In the meantime, Spud had waddled over to Devon and Pent, greeting the two with a broad smile before turning to the newcomers and waddling closer to them, reaching over and fist bumping both of them, leaving some of his slimy residue on their hands. <Oh.. wait.. what kind of pokemon are you?> he moved over to the Shaymin, tilting his head to the side. He'd never seen a pokemon like this in all of his life before.. it was tiny and green and white.. and actually quite adorable.
Nana flicked her tail impatiently. <That is a Shaymin.> she stated, ears flicking forward. <A rare Pokemon akin to those ones the humans call 'legendary.'> she sat up slightly taller, narrowing her eyes even further. <I would be curious as to why you have come to this place.>
Tamaki slithered out from behind Spud, wiggling excitedly as he saw the small pokemon, a smile stretching across his face. <HI!> he called happily. <I'm Tamaki, and that's Spud and Nana!> He vibrated almost too excitedly as he greeted the Shaymin.
