Kurai writhed in pain, and the tendril and Ravens receded. "He put his eyepatch back on, and ran behind a wall. He was panting, blood coming from a wound in his arm. He looked down at his arm, and shadows began slowly covering the wound. "I-I'm sorry. Lucifer was going to take over, and she cut the tendril..." He looked down in shame.

Jesper turned at the sound of William's voice. "William?" He quickly shuffled over while doing the Macarena. "How'd you get here? I thought the door closed!" He looked back to make sure Eddie was okay. "Where's Sandra? And who is that?" He said, pointing at Emily.

Kurai practically ripped off his eyepatch. His red eye glowed, and his arm transformed into a tendril. It stretched and began grabbing for the sniper. "Get cover." The pentacle on his hand glowed, and two small birds flew towards the arm, and followed it. They started to peck at the sniper. "I can't do this for much longer. I'm afraid Lucifer likes to take control. Pretty soon, I'll have to stop." He said, his voice already becoming distorted, and filled with pain.

Kurai appeared in the shadows behind the girl, waving to everyone with his pentacle hand. Shadowy tendrils creeped up behind her, and tapped her on the shoulder. Kurai bowed. "Kurai, carrier of the demon Lucifer. And I can do even worse than you. Ask all these lovely people." He seemed blind, and unfocused on everyone there.

Kurai stressed. "And you all say I destroy things. He just messed up some of my skeletons!" His arms had transformed into the arms of the greater being's skeleton, the one that would grow more and more intelligent. "It's hard to think up these things! I have to think about their survival habits, their diets, not to mention everything they'll need to survive and hunt!" He began making things again, giving a death glare (I just had to.) to Farxus. He was upset, having contributed to his sibling's work, then having it destroyed.

"I can't allow you to get away. Sorry." Samuel strode over to the girl and shoved his sabre through her arm and straight into the ground, pinning her. He drew his two flintlocks. "Come now. If you were foolish enough to shoot once you once more, yes? He aimed at the door, and gave a signal to his Enforcers. They stood by the two sides of the entrance, but two stayed behind to watch the prisoner. Samuel adjusted his trench coat. "And where did you get those flintlocks? Unless you're a deserter?"

Samuel smiled. "Thank you for letting me do this." He fired at her foot, then used the other to fire again at the same foot. "Now, would you care to tell me?" While waiting for an answer, he turned to the Enforcer. "Go ahead, Enforcer Gaz. Do your worst when she doesn't answer. Just no permanent damage. Make sure you get the information.

He drew a flintlock and aimed it at her left foot. "So, what's the answer?"

Without waiting for a response, he ditched the unicycle, carried Eddie, and walked into the nation. As soon as he got in, he started to do the Macarena, just relieved about having protection.
