Definitely interested! Or should I say...seriously?!
Just had this stroke of brilliance while I was listening to the soundtrack. Anyways, the story...(This'll be short and to the point.)

Dummer, New Hampshire. 1993

A group of three kids wandered through the forest. Now they're gone. Police say that they got lost inside of the woods, but their friends suspect something different. Something more dangerous. They aren't alone. But they will have to solve this mystery...or die trying.

Now, there will be a monster somewhat similar to the Demogorgon. And the kids will be the ones who have the most knowledge about it. But when we start out? We will have no clue whatsoever. There will only be a designated number of kids. Somewhere close to three or four. As for high schoolers? I don't know. It goes any way for them. As well as adults. There will be a slight government conspiracy, but not like Hawkins Lab. More like the government covering all of this up.

Now, if there's anything else you want to know, ask me. As I promised, this was pretty short and to the point. I think.

Just wanted to know if this is still alive.
Jax sighed, hearing his police radio buzz as a cop spoke into it. "All units...we have a robbery on..." Jax was already climbing back into his suit. Hearing the police rattle off the location, he recorded it on his phone. "Alright...This'll be fun. But let's make this one fast, okay Dad?" He said as he turned on his comm. "Son, this looks different from the others. Approach with caution. " Jax rolled his eyes, now in his suit. "Don't worry about it. They try anything, I beat them so bad they wish they would die." Back in his hometown, his father, Victor Fries, creased his brow in concern.

40 minutes later...

Icicle stood inside the bank, confused. He'd searched everywhere, and hadn't found anyone. "Hey Dad. False alarm. I guess the police radio was wrong for-" Then it hit him. Of course. He should have known. "Dad. Some of the police were in on it." His father gasped audibly over the comm. "Corruption is prominent in Gotham. It breaks my heart that this would happen." Meanwhile, Jax was leaping through the door. He hit the ground in a roll. Ten police officers stared at him, shocked. One decided to be brave. "Hey, what are you doing here, kid?" Icicle turned to them. "I could ask the same. I find it strange, that, despite there being many more crimes being committed tonight, and you all have to be spread thin, there are ten police here. Not to mention the place is empty. You know what that tells me? A couple of you aren't cops. I would say more weren't, but, hey, this is Gotham. It's no surprise. I better just beat the corruption out of you, then."

Jax turned on his stealth mode. Running behind one of the cops, he froze him promptly. He drew out the uzis he decided to use for this crime, and shot three. He turned to another and knocked him out with a right hook. By then his stealth had worn out, and a corrupted police officer was charging at him. Icicle easily sidestepped and tripped him. Another crook came at him, and he knocked the wind out of him by punching him in the gut. The one he had tripped got up, and Jax used one shot to kill him, and another to kill the one who ran out of wind. The three that were left tried to run. Jax shot two in the legs, but the third got away. He sighed and holstered his guns. "This has been a long night. Shame I had to kill five of 'em." He grinned. "Yeah. Shame..."
Jack followed like a lost puppy. "Well, my whole family died in a fire. So, I guess losing your mama and papa. Oh, and your hermano. He looked down. "I just wished to see them, and tada!" A charred skeleton appeared. "Ey, hermano! Miss me?" The skeleton cocked his head to the side. "He can't understand me completely."

Jack looked down at his hands. "I don't mind waiting." When she performed the trick, he stared at the blood, and the smoking grass. "That. Was. Sick! So, you can, like, kill someone with that? And is there a way you did that? How did you get your powers?" He said it all so fast, he was doubled over, gasping for breath. With a snap of his fingers, a skeletal man who looked like a fitness trainer handed him a fresh water bottle. "Sorry about that." He took a tentative sip, then a gulp.

Lies stood by a river. His father took him here once as a child. He sighed at that memory, before sitting under an apple tree. As far as he knew, nobody else had come. It was at the foot of Mt. Ebott, which was enough to keep most away. He'd also made it a bit hidden, digging up a bush and making a makeshift wall from them. He sighed, and sipped from a cup of black coffee. He could spend all day here.
So, I'm just going to say this right now, this is an attempt at a reboot from a former roleplay I had started. It crashed rather quickly, but I will not make the same mistakes. Alright. Got that cleared up. Now, the main story?

A disease came late at night. 10:03 PM, October 3rd. 2035. It killed anyone on the streets within thirty seconds. It affected different people different ways. Some coughed up their lungs. Somes' brains melted. And some...we'd rather not say. Two years after that, we haven't made the mistake of going out during the night without a gas mask. Uneasy peace formed. Bandits have disappeared almost completely. But all is about to change. Because tonight, three unlucky fellows haven't found shelter. And instead of the short, painful death? They became monsters.

Now don't be mistaken. The Changed are the main peril. But they're not very common. It's just something to add a little spice, something we'll encounter every once in awhile. For instance, every once in awhile we'll encounter maybe a convenience store full of them. They are not typical 'zombies'. They are faster, stronger, and smarter. And they're real hard to kill. As it is, you will not be a Change killing machine. These things are very new.

Did I forget anything? Welp, if so, just ask me.
Jack looked at Ivy, then back to Val. "Mind if I come? Fresh air does good for the soul, right?" He muttered his next sentence. "If I have one." As he looked at Val, he began to stroke his chin. Val didn't seem to have any powers that were prominent. "Hey, what is your strange gift that sets you apart from the rest of the world? If you don't mind me asking.

@KimmiNinja
Jack laughed. "And it's all about getting along, being in harmony with one's self, and singing kumbaya around a campfire." He then looked at who seemed to be the counselors. "I think the...energetic girl is one. And possibly that guy?" He said, pointing to Kyle and Ivy. "Anyways, I think that camp will be okay. As long as most of the people leave me alone." He smiled a charming grin at Val. "You're cool though."
