Dawkin Trustram

"Hm? Oh I was admiring their manes. Even the ponyta's have a quite amazing coloration in their manes and the differences are interesting as well. I don't intend on catching one at the moment though, not to worry." Dawkin said confidently with a endearing smile. Mostly true. "We'll just focus on getting through the plains without running into anything if that's alright." He assumed the thing worrying her was simply the fact that the plains were somewhat dangerous and they would have to be careful going through them. And why she was sticking so close to him.

In my defense Dawkin doesn't know exactly what's shes hiding, he just think she's wierd, mostly on account of the area. Anywho, I'll throw up a post but his actions won't change.
Yeah I wasn't sure if I should write 'hurrying along' to avoid events or 'moving carefully' to avoid events so I went with the more by the book one.
Dawkin Trustram

Dawkin looked at Amelia quizzically for a moment, as though trying to read how she felt. "Yeah, I'll try to keep us out of trouble. Let's get going." Dawkin said to her. He would've liked to take the chance to catch a Pontya here and now but... His focus was on helping Amelia. He wasn't quite sure but something seemed off about her so he'd do his best to simply make sure the two of them got through without much trouble. After all, he could always come back and catch a Ponyta later. For now the two of them would attempt to make their way through the plains keeping the advice they had just received in mind. Watch out for fire, don't get too close to anything, run in zigzags and split up. Simple enough.

Action: Hurry along through route 6

Sofia Stien - Train yard

Sofia flinched as she felt something other than Chatterhead pull her back. Nononono, she was supposed to be safe! There was an overwhelming urge to open her eyes, but just as she was about to do so Chatterhead spoke up. Don't open your eyes. Don't open your eyes. She didn't want to be here anymore. They had gotten the thing they should just leave. Something had brought them back though. Sofia tightened her hold on Chatterbox, an unusual fear gripping her. She had always been able to trust her power to keep her safe. To keep everything far away. Now, her power had failed to keep her safe twice in rapid succession. Without her power... How could she be safe? The sense of vulnerability that she was now keenly aware was something far too familiar from times she'd done her best to forget. Where was Thunderbird...

Bladedancer and Magna Carta

Like a well oiled machine Bladedancer's immediately stopped her movement and dashed in the opposite direction, forcing Mantis to choose which of them he wanted to fire at. Her arm extended and a shuriken no larger than her hand whirled forward like a striking shadow towards Mantis's face, while her other hand tossed the kitchen knife into the air where it twirled end over end. Regardless of what Mantis did in response to the Shuriken(unless he tried shooting it) Bladedancer would teleport into the air, the shuriken now spinning in place around one of her fingers. With her free hand Bladedancer retrieved a steak knife and hurled it directly at Mantis's thigh, directly at his femoral artery. The next instant she was gone back to the Kitchen knife. Mantis however had already managed to track and fire a burst of shots off. Barely a moment more than that she was outside next to the shuriken she had placed before entering the warehouse. And of course; throwing up. The chained teleporation, with the last target not even being in her field of view had done a number on her system. If you asked her how she'd done it, she'd hardly even be able to answer you. Oh and there was also the small matter of the bullet that had gone through her arm.

Magna Carta on the other hand, continued moving forward but on her next step she leaned forward and she moved forward with an un-natural speed throwing off any attempts to fire at her and skating out of the warehouse with her unknown method of propulsion. A few seconds out she turned around to make sure Bladedancer had gotten out as well. She saw Bladedancer pop into exsistence and promptly empty her stomach onto the ground. Magna Carta felt a bit queasy herself at the sight but hurried over and grabbed Bladedancer arm, "Come on, come on, we gotta go remember?"

Bladedancer yelped at the touch but stumbled to her feet, making sure all her blades were accounted, save the last one she had thrown at Mantis and began running with Magna Carta, doing her best to keep with her woozy head and bleeding arm. Not satisfied with this Magna Carta carefully swooped Bladedancerup bridal style and began dashing away with that odd movement of hers, moving with Bladedancer faster than an average person ran. Of course she didn't look up and this didn't notice Angel above her. Given she was uninterrupted, the pair would make their way back to Bladedancer's apartment.

Dawkin Trustram

Dawkin listened carefully to the women and her rather helpful advice. She gave them a recommendation on how to deal with every Pokemon they might encounter. He smiled in response to her blatant shilling, "Ah well I thank you for your advice, but it'd be a shame not to put it to good use wouldn't it? I think we'll see how the plains treat us on our own, maybe another time." Dawkin said to the kind women and turned away. "It seems we have a plan of action for anything we might run into. Shall we?" Dawkin asked, gesturing to the wide open plains ahead of them. He would implement the Rapidash owner's advice for anything they ran into: and also keep an eye out to see if there was an opportune moment to catch a Ponyta. Probably not since doing so would raise the wrath of the accompanying Rapidash but... He'd look for it all the same.

Dawkin Trustram

"Really? I don't think I've ever-" Dawkin cut off his own sentence as he thought back to the Infested Woods and the incident where he'd ended up helping Martin. The Queen that Karlos had refereed to... He was pretty sure it'd been oddly colored too. "I may have seen one before, but I've never really studied it much." Given what he knew, it was likely that shiny Pokemon weren't just rare, they were outliers from the rest of their species. He wondered if Phantump differed from others of its kind in anything other than color as well. Something to dwell on later when he had more experience with such things. They passed through Route 5 without incident and arrived at Route 6.

The two of them spent a moment simply looking at the vast area in front of them. Truly deserving of the name. Even from here he could see quite a few Pokemon, which he took the luxury of scanning, using his Pokedex's range as best he could. There were quite a few Pokemon here that could help round out his team. From the looks of things... it wouldn't be as simple as following a road to the next town. Some of the Pokemon here were fully evolved and likely quite stronger than anything they could handle. Of course hardly had the thought crossed his mind when his eyes fell on the trainer whose Pokemon was currently fighting... an entire herd of Tauros? Dawkin couldn't quite make out either of them from here but the Tauros being tossed aside one by one confirmed that they were losing. Dawkin spent a moment in thought. No, there was no point in heading over there. Such a person would have no business with the likes of them and was clearly rather busy.

"We best be careful. I have 2 repels on hand if we need them but I'd rather save them for obvious reasons." He paused briefly to watch a Rapidash race across the plains. A Ponyta... would be a nice catch. Dawkin could already how useful the Fire Horse Pokemon could be. However he was here to help Amelia and that should remain his top priority. "My Pokemon aren't much good for intimidation, though Wooper can fight against several Pokemon here well enough, some of the bigger ones could prove a problem regardless of typing. Perhaps it would be best to see if we could get some advice regarding crossing the plains before attempting it?" The plains were quite an intimidating sight and Dawkin felt gathering information could prove quite helpful here. Better to be over than under prepared after all.

I have a really cool habit where information immediately leaves my brain upon me not looking directly at the information in question so...................... really I just have poor planning skills. I will be more timely in the future, sorry I've been taking a while for my last few posts.

"Whew Pichu, you really put in some work." Dawkin said. The toasted Pokemon the little guy had left in his wake was quite impressive to say the least. Frankly Dawkin was expecting the Pichu to be fairly weak, and that it would've have been better for him to grab a Pikachu instead, but he was preforming quite well. Of course it was only against wild Pokemon but still. Not like 'only wild pokemon' had nearly killed him earlier today'. He crouched down next to the somewhat winded Pichu. "As a reward I think I'll trust you to hold onto something for me." Dawkin fished a shiny scale out of his bag and held it out for the Pichu to look at, tilting it to reflect the light upon its dazzling surface. "Sound good?" Pichu let out a chirp and grabbed the shiny scale, seemingly fascinated by it and Dawkin smiled. "Now let's turn in, we have a long day tommorow."

Dawkin couldn't hope to maintain a glower with Amelia and her trouble-maker laughing at him. "Heheh, Well I hope my reaction doesn't inspire that particular move again." As a matter of reflex Dawkin scanned the Pokemon, glancing at the entry and showing a hint of surprise. "Oh? Your Phantump doesn't match the one in the Pokedex, that's quite interesting... Guess I'll have to updated mine eh?" Dawkin said with a joking grin.

"We don't need the wrong kind of people finding out about you and taking you away do we."

The coloration must be a rare thing and where rare Pokemon existed, so were people hunting them. Dawkin could understand her concern for wanting to keep something like that under wraps, which was part of why he didn't inquire further about it. Plus... She seemed like she really cared for it. "You're right, let's get going."

Actions: Head out to Route 6

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Krysanthe felt a little bad at being one of the instigator's of the "skins VS shirts" that had escalated very quickly into something of a mess. Admittedly it was a mess she was struggling very hard not to laugh her head off at and make things worse but... it was pretty funny. Soon Mr. Muscles brought things back under control by handing out colored braces, Krysanthe put one of the blue ones that were handed out for their team. Not really her color, but she would deal. Trad gave a last team speech of sorts and they were on the field ready to play. As soon as the ball went into the air Krysanthe sprinted forward, with surprising speed. She was offense right? RIGHT! "Get it Trad!" she shouted as she ran forward, attempting to avoid the enemy team as much as possible while ready to be passed to and immediately make a shot. In games like this, it was best to take advantage of the lack of familiarity with teammates by taking the initiative! If nothing else she would draw some attention and open up the field for her teammates. Plus if the other team got the ball and passed it back she could immediately pressure them. Her strategy was perfect!
