Lyra is a very erotic appearing woman, long sultry legs meeting flared hips and a generous bottom. A small waist, accentuating the broadness of her hips, trickling up to her smaller more humble bosom and narrow shoulders. She is of normal height, slightly taller than most women being 5'7" – with raven hair that falls past her protruding collarbones, bangs cut short above her brow. Lyra's eyes are a soft baby olive tone, deeply set with an alluring narrow - sharpness to them, color lighting up brilliantly against warm ivory skin and deep saturation of her hair. Her nose is thin and pointed at the tip, below it are lush - full lips naturally washed over with a delicate rose tone. Lyra's skin is clear of any blemish excluding faint freckles sprinkled over the bridge of her nose. Thin scars riddle her palms and legs, each one originating as a crimson faucet for the Blood Magic she will often perform.
Adorning her neck is a necklace clutching the stone Lilac Lepidolite. The stone is known to increase calmness, peace, relaxation, and balance. Lyra uses the amulet as a power source as well as a source to center her mind while performing witchcraft. Lyra also carries her favorite grimoire, one that had belonged to Lyras and had been passed down throughout the generations.

Lyra is interested in all things occult related. She practices magic of darker decent, while dangerous it allows for stronger spells and curses. Lyra is also very intrigued by Lucifer himself, presumably a portion of her ancestor Lyras feeding that energy into Lyra herself. Besides witchcraft, Lyra is also very interested in poetry, art, and loves to sing.

Lyra is a rather quiet woman, speaking mostly with body and facial expression. She emits an essence of mystery, you'll feel an intense, underlying sinister foundation to her – an aspect that takes getting used to. Lyra tends to come off as overly flirtatious to those who are unfamiliar with the woman. A coquette is an understatement, her forwardness often enough to unhinge anyone. She adores seducing men and women alike, likely a direct line to her heritage driving the compulsive behavior. If you survive past the overwhelming shell, you'll find someone who nurtures those she loves, protecting them with her entire being if it came down to it.

With Salem Witches as ancestors, Lyra's history is extensive. The first witch in her family named Lyras Marie Proctor, was the beginning of a lengthy line of witches. Lyras had been a troubled young woman, falling into what her family believed was an illness at first that would later turn out to be the after effects of signing her name in Lucifer's book. Before Lyras was sentence and executed, she had studied and performed satanic black-magic religiously. She would form a bond with Lucifer, some even say the two were smitten for a while before Lyras was slaughtered after being found out. Her family swept her death under the rug, praying day in and day out for forgiveness for their daughters horrid sins. But as time went on and baby after baby was born, it became evident the family name and blood was forever smeared. Most of the Proctor bloodline would stray from the church, taking an interest in Lucifer's vow to allow them the life of opulence. Naive families would only further the taint on the Proctor name and soon Satanism would become a worshiped practice within many of their homes. Witches pursuing further knowledge of their heritage and powers. Many times the Proctor last name would change, a feeble attempt to destroy the befouled smudge left on their bloodline. However, after coming to the conclusion the attempts were in vain, the last name Proctor would once more arise.
Lyra would be born, named after the witch who started it all. Her mother a sworn follower of Lucifer, the sole reason her father had left. He would be there for her birth but would very quickly abandon his family after swearing he had seen the devil within his newborn daughter. Lyra grew up being taught many things from her mother, reading ancient grimoire's that had been passed down the line. She studied vigorously, dedicating most of her life to this part of her. Lyra would follow in Lyras footsteps as well as her mothers, however it became apparent that her devotion was even stronger than both. While most present-day witches took to a lighter form of witchcraft, Lyra would mostly resort to the witchcraft her ancestors practiced. A darker, more satanic form that would directly joint her to the more sinister sources of nature. Drawing power from these sources made for strong magic, but the consequences would be life altering. Lyra would dread the darkness at first, but soon it became home, something she glorified and held at a high regard. If respected, it would not harm you.. A good acolyte would be treated as such. Lyra would also take on a much more licentious personality as she began practicing the antiquated witchcraft, the crave she felt to bewitch men and women growing fervent as her comprehension of her progenitors expanded.

Lyra is a very talented witch with rich cognizance and unfaltering devotion to her religion or lack there of. Her preferred form of magic is Black Magic as well as Blood Magic. Lyra often conducts sacrificial rituals in order to draw energy to cast spells and hexes. Compulsion, an act of making someone think, act, or do a certain thing, is something she has nearly mastered. However, with baleful magic, comes severe draining if done carelessly. The powerful sorcery will most times lead Lyra to having nosebleeds, sever migraines, and even blacking out if strained.
The ability to control the actions and thoughts of another person. Usually used to wipe ones mind of an event and or make the person commit an act. This spell is one that can only be undone by another witch, it can also be deterred if the herb lilac is consumed or on the body. Lyra usually performs this spell with a kiss or simple eye contact.
The power to overwhelm someone's mind with voices. A victims mind will be opened to the other sides, voices of passed relatives, strangers, or even darker presences encouraged to speak. There is no set amount of speakers that can arise within ones head, the more that come forth increases the intensity of the pain and confusion one feels.
The ability to hear the whispers of her ancestors telepathically. When listening to said spirits, Lyra will go into a trance-like state, black matter consuming the color in her eyes. This ability allows Lyra to gain knowledge of that past, discover spells, and draw energy from dead witches within her bloodline if they come forward. The spell is incredibly strenuous and can lead to Lyra opening her body up unwillingly to possession.

In 1692, a group of girls began displaying bizarre behavior in the village Salem, Massachusetts. The girls went through a series of unexplained shifts in personality, seizures, shrieking, and often times were found in a trance-like state. The girls were tested and examined, doctors finding no race of abnormalities. But medical knowledge and ability was only so extensive during this time, anything that was not physically seen would be ruled nonexistent. After finding no visible health concerns, the small village of Salem declared it an act of Satan. The girls were shunned and proclaimed witches, interrogated until they revealed who controlled their behaviors. Multiple women confessed to having the presence of Satan, explaining he would reveal himself as a goat, hare, or raven. In June The Witch Trials would begin, multiple girls hanged. By the end of The Witch Trials, 19 of those convicted of witchcraft and satanism, were killed either by hanging or stoning. Those who had not been hanged nor stoned, would find death within the solitude of prison. The witch-hunt would end, but the lore and myths surrounding the horrid events that had taken place that day would live on. For centuries the talk of witchcraft and things alike would be no stranger to the world. Mothers and fathers would feed their children the belief that they were born sinners, begging god for forgiveness, promising to worship no other man but Christ himself. Satan was greatly feared, if a girl became promiscuous she would be deemed a whore, a slut, a child of Lucifer made only to bewitch men. It was said that in order to get the luxuries of the world, girls would follow Satan and his promises of a delicious lifestyle. Satan would demand young women to remove their shift, follow him to worship, and sign their name in his book. Forever smearing themselves and their families with sin. Movies, shows, costumes, and literature would be created around the idea of witchcraft. Throughout the years the act that was once believed to be satanic, would become lighthearted. The word "witch" no longer striking fear in people. The Witch Trials would be pronounced a horrible mistake, the women convicted and executed, regular god-fearing humans who had suffered health problems not yet known to doctors during the period.
While witchcraft began with women, it would eventually branch out to men as well. In the beginning it was learned that women would fall into Satan's control, following his rule, worshiping his beliefs, abandoning all love for God. A women was made a witch once she rid herself of all pureness, sleeping with multiple men, birthing no children, and performing sacrifices appointed by Lucifer himself. These young girls would strip of their clothing on the last night of their human life, after completing each task. Naked, the girls would kneel before The Devil, a final ritual proving the girls loyalty to Satan. Once the girls fell completely into his power, the girls were to sign their names in his book, forever binding themselves and their bloodline to the satanic act. Men would eventually become victims to the same acts, Lilith, like Lucifer, would bewitch these men into following her. Promising them the luxuries of life, with the only condition of following her word. These men would however, take up the name warlock rather than witch.

Witches Now
Witches now are much less feared, the thought of linking them to satanism an idea of the past. Witchcraft is believed to be nothing but fiction, something people see as only real in stories. Witches and Warlocks live in secrecy still, however everyday life has become a simple task. Witchcraft can be practiced within the home, believers of the art only a few compared to the many that brush it off as folklore. Witches and Warlocks no longer have to follow rituals nor sign any book, their bloodline cursing daughters and eventually sons to inherit the powers their ancestors signed for. People can no longer become witches or warlocks, only those related to the original witches able to fall into the power. However, not everyone related carries this curse, only a few every hundred years or so will be born a child of Satan. Witches now are much less based on satanism, while it is the foundation of the practice of witchcraft, it no longer rules the entire thing. Warlocks and Witches have taken the practice into their own hands over the centuries, the practice of bewitching and leading others into Satan's following, no longer a prominent aspect. Those within the bloodline now contain more elemental powers. Taking energy from natural resources such as fire, water, the earth, and things alike. Witches study grimoire's, which are books passed down from other's within the bloodline, containing spells and invocations. The books have instructions on how to conjure up talismans, amulets, and the process required to summon supernatural entities linked to Satan, God, and those who have passed.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
These are the last names of those who were executed during The Witch Trials. Each present-day witch or warlock is to be connected to one of these bloodlines.

Grimoire
A grimoire is a textbook of magic, typically including instructions on how to create magical objects like talismans and amulets, how to perform magical spells, charms and divination, and how to summon or invoke supernatural entities such as angels, spirits, and demons.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Talisman
Talismans are empowered objects created and used to amplify a witches powers or their focus. Whether used to focus on balancing out a problem, protection from harm, drawing luck, drawing love or for another reason, a talisman is created with a specific purpose in mind.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Witches all carry a variety of objects in order to perform spells and hexes. A grimoire and talisman being the two priority utensils when crafting. A grimoire is a necessity in order to learn spells and follow instructions. A talisman helps as an aid, strengthening the power the witch has. Candles also help with strengthening, energy being pulled from the flame. Witches all carry different crafting objects, there is no set object a witch must possess in order to perform.
Ever since there have been witches, there have been witch-hunters. These men and women dedicate their life to studying witches and their bloodlines. Travelling across the world to follow leads that may turn them in the direction of potential present-day witches. Hunters will kill, torture and interrogate witches they are able to track down. Hunters view witches as abominations, direct spawns from Satan, bringing nothing but hell and destruction wherever they go. While that may not be completely true, hunters have this ideology drilled into their head from childhood. Hunters originate from the same place the witches did, their ancestors those who had hunted down and executed the original women among The Witch Trials. Hunters are raised in normal families, similar to witches. While others are taught and trained day in and day out to dedicate their existence to the slaughtering and extinction of witches.
Noose
One form of killing a witch is by noose, however not just any noose will kill a witch. The noose must originate from the original trials in Salem. These noose's contain destructive power against witches and their abilities.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Dagger
Another form of executing a witch would be to stab her, again not just any knife or dagger will kill a witch. While it will injure and weaken a witch, it cannot kill her. In order to kill a witch with a dagger, you must douse it with the ashes of their ancestors burned in Salem.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Other forms of killing witches is yet to be known, they are incapable of revealing their powers in public in fear of being outed to the world. Making them weaker when in the public eye. Overwhelming a witch also weakens him or her, over exposing said witch to too many natural sources at once. Witches in general, are not indestructible. A conventional weapon would harm and even kill a witches body, however if the witch is an elder and contains extensive knowledge, she may be able to possess another host body after being killed with a conventional weapon rather than a weapon from the trials. A younger witch would be unable to conjure up a new body, leaving them and their powers useless if their body is killed by a normal weapon. It isn't as easy as shooting or stabbing a witch, unless said witch is completely clueless as to how to use their powers, most witches will sense incoming danger, deflecting an attacker with witchcraft if quick enough.

This RP will revolve around the struggles both the Hunters and Witches face. Each will find hardships in discovering their identity and attempting to cope. Some will completely embrace it and dedicate their lives to what they are. There will be those who completely despise the other, hunters who want witches dead no matter what, witches who want hunters executed. Evil will be prominent, however not everyone has allowed the darkness to consume them. The age range for characters in this RP is 18-30's, most witches and hunters attending the same High School unbeknownst to the presence of their rivals.
