Hey all. Welcome to my interest check. Little abut me: I am a 24 year old nurse. I work nights mostly, and always have wifi through my phone. Which means that there is twelve hours a day when I am more or less available to write. That means that I can and often do respond several times a day. This does not mean, however, that you are required to.
From a standpoint of both maturity and limits I have much of the first and few of the second. Violence is fine so long as it makes sense in the streamline of the role play. Swearing is also fine, though please do not make it every other word. I fucking hate fucking people who do shit like that.
I do ask for a certain level of writing among my partners. If you are offended by that then this might not be the place for you. But I am tired of writing nine or ten paragraph posts and getting a one liner in return. If that happens I will block you with extreme prejudice.

Plots
Post Apocolyptic
The world we know has ended. Nuclear war has laid waste to most of the once fertile United States. Cities once bright and fruitful now stand as hollow, twisted reminders of what once stood. Settlements scatter the land, the inhabitants wary of outsiders and the dangers of the Wastes. Scavengers and wanderers crisscross the land, making their living on the scraps of those who have fallen to the hands of fate...or their own weapons.
This needs a lot of world building, so an active partner would be nice. If you are not into that we can easily put this in the Fallout world, and create characters to fit a specific plot.
Modern Fantasy
There is a subculture to St. Louis. Oh the arch and the lights and the jazz bring in tourists, and every city has an odd nightlife, but St. Louis is....older. It rests on a major river and a massive fault line, and because of that there is power there for those who know how to use it. And as a result, the city has a thriving supernatural world. Witches run tea rooms, vampires manage brothels, leprechauns vie for control of the casinos.
And on the north side of town, not too far from the university, a wizard runs a coffe shop/alechemical market, and has been known to lend a helping hand...
Basically someone comes in (probably a skeptic) because they are plagued by something supernatural. The wizard agrees to help because hte person is a friend of a friend, but when things turn out to be more than they appear, the two have to band together to stop it.
Modern Dystopic
In some ways, the apocalypse fixed things. Old regimes fell, stereotypes ended. In order to keep the peace of this new, fragile society every citizen is tested at 17 to decide what their careers will be. The results are broad, more sections than individual paths, but you cannot choice a job outside your 'wheelhouse'.
When two young men from very different backrounds test into the same smal window, sparks fly. It's up to them whether they will ever make nice, and perhaps leave their section.
This plot needs a lot of work, so active partners are a must.
Futuristic Smuggler
The Trenton is a small vessel, designed for long trips through deep space. In more legal hands it might have been a luxury craft for wealthy families, or a fast recon ship for emergencies. But in the hands of a backworld smuggler she was a shadow in the night, flitting from one seedy space port to the next. Carrying whatever he was paid to and keeping his mouth shut about it, the man made a small but tidy living.
Until he found an abandoned science base, powerless and all but destroyed. It floated in the wastes towards the edge of the civilized universe, decrepit from age and battered from attack. A salvage search turns up what appears to be an ancient cryo-tube. The man inside is alive and well, beautiful enough to make a decent amount on the slave block. But he also has the memories of a highly classified mining experiment, and the knowledge of how to become wealthy beyond anyone's wildest dreams.

Description: Liam is....focused. That is the first word that comes to a lot of peoples minds. Focused, determined, and maybe a little bitter. He comes from a family that struggles every day to get by, and has the knowledge that no matter what happens they won't be able to help him. So he fights for straight A's, for a flawless GPA and extra curriculars and trying everything to do all of that and still have time to be an almost nortmal high school boy.
Almost normal, because he is less then openly gay, and getting laid is hard enough without being the resident brainaic.
"Yeah yeah, laugh it up." But Travis's grumbles were good natured, and he bent his head to give Ryan more room. "We got called out to a domestic disturbance, some deal about a wife finding her husband with some younger thing. The side piece got out okay, but the husband got so worked up his heart was spasming and she was hitting him. So we get called out with the cops, wife finds out she can't press charges without getting locked up herself, so she goes at him with the frying pan. Unfortunately, my head was between her and him."
The pressure on the wound stung, and he winced a little as the gash was cleaned. He hated head wounds, mostly because they over-bled every time. Still, if he had to have someone look at it, it was nice for it to be a doctor. He liked nurses just fine- they were incredibly useful for intakes and they kept candy at their station- but if he was going to get slammed over the back of the head, it was nice for it to be a doctor who looked him over.
"Stitches? Are you going to have to shave my hair?" His tone was appalled. "Jeez, Doc, how am I ever gonna snag a guy with a bald spot?"
If his head wasn't really starting to pound, Travis might have caught the little slip. He wasn't over eager about blurting out his sexual preference- it made some of the older fire fighters uncomfortable-, but he wasn't ashamed of it, not really. Still, hospital, public space. It was usually the kind of thing he avoided. But the concern-and the concussion- were enough to drive the worries from his mind.
"Man, what did I tell you?" Josh's voice was teasing as he helped Travis get shakily to his feet. "You've got a fountain in the back of your head, no way you are going on any more runs tonight."
"Shut up Josh." Once on his feet Travis was steadier, and he brushed his partner aside to put his own hand on the gauze.
He'd known the truth, but it always sucked to get taken off rotation, especially so early in his shift. Being an EMT was where he'd always wanted to be at in his career. It had taken a long time for him to get into the kind of physical condition he'd needed to do the job really well, and then to get on the alpha shift that worked for his schedule. It didn't leave him a lot of time to have a life outside of work, and that could suck. He'd dated briefly over the summer, but after the third call in Brian had flat out told him that he wasn't worth the effort. They'd reconciled over that eventually- after Brian's face had healed- but that had been his last romantic entanglement.
Now he was going to be put off a shift, and the one time he had a night off there was nothing to do and no one to do it with.
"Alright Doc, he's all yours. I'm going to call us in and see about a replacement, Trav, but I'll stay and drive you home after."
"Thanks, man." Travis waved in the general direction of his partner, then looked up at Ryan. "Alright, Doc, lead the way."
