That's really the reason why all roleplay posts reach the length they do, unless the GM is pushing for more/less.'Tis the reason why this RP's posts are almost all Advanced-level. I never told anyone they had to post that much; it just sort of evolved that way.And I've been in plenty of Advanced RP's that didn't have Godzilla-size standards. Did you try looking past the first page or so? The beginnings to every roleplay usually have longer posts to start with, since everyone needs to get their intros in. Things tend to mellow out once the story gets going. How far did you look?

Couple pages in, although, and I don't want to be offensive, but they did seem to be artificially lengthened, like including pointless details such as how the counter the character walked by to get to a car gleamed with the sun as it slowly rose in the morning light, wile the rain reflected whatever, the characters mellow face. Something like that. I still feel my posts aren't long enough, but I do not want to artificially lengthen them. Please, if you want more or less of me, just ask.

I'm not saying they don't exist. Because they do. The extremes on both ends of the spectrum have to reside in Free/Advanced because there's no where else for them to go.But, not all of Advanced is like that. In fact, the majority of it isn't. They say stereotypes are rooted in truth, after all, and that is true in this case - but that doesn't mean all of Advanced falls into that stereotype. You can make two-paragraph posts in Advanced, and unless the GM has specifically set higher standards for his/her RP alone, that's perfectly fine.

Most ones I saw where...

Uhh...

Well like, 12 Paragraphs per post.

Now, after thinking about it for a bit, maybe it's just kind of a cycle. Longer posts = More to react to = Longer posts.
Evil took into account the look his companion gave when he told them his name, and his slightly offensive message. He quickly corrected his own mistakes "You can call me Orber too, Evilorber for full, got it from a random name gen..." he hoped that would correct any bad feelings between his companions. Muse's long speech confirmed a lot of what Evil had on his mind. The GM thing he'd tried earlier, death in this world means death in real life, the floating island roleplay things above them and how Muse' can shapeshift into whatever he feels like shapeshifting into. So my idea could have worked... if I believed hard enough... he thought, highly doubting he'd ever get the hang of it. Muse also mentioned a wolf-man, and how he thought other roleplayers were dead, or something, although Evil kind of spaced out thinking about other things. Shortly afterwards, He pointed to the young man, around his age. "Why do you keep giving him bad looks?" He didn't really expect an answer, Muse seemed like the type who would shrug of any question like that, at least to Evil. In fact, Evil thought about it more.

"Hey! Wait a minute!" he raised his voice slightly
"You never told us if you were an admin or not!" He slightly regretted re asking the question.
Sorry about that. There was seriously bad weather where I live (Ireland, floods, electricity out, snow even) so I've been delayed on getting the internet and any time I have had it, it's been extremely slow. Post should be up now.
Evil, after being helped up listened to the two men.

Evil stepped forward after his companion had basically insisted to.. He gave a glance to his companion, who seemed to indicate that he should ask whatever was on his mind. He held out his hand for the man to shake it. "I'm... Evil I guess and you're Muse..."
"So we're in the Guild, but you guys keep going on about some Wolf Man? Who is this Wolf Guy, Godmodder, whatever hisn ame is and what does it have to do with US? And why can you shapeshift or something? Are you an admin?" He wanted to ask a few more questions, but he really didn't feel comfortable around this strange man. I've forgotten his name again, Moose was it? No, wait, Muse.

"I've actually got a few more questions..." he began. "Can you fly us up to that island up there? Actually, what's up there? We've been traveling through the forest for what..." he glanced at his companion. "An hour now? I think so?" Although Evil didn't really trust Muse at all, his companion seemed to trust him, so he probably should too. He then asked the question that was hanging on his mind for a while to this man who seemed to know everything. "Y-you spoke of people who were murdered.... does that mean... if we die in the guild we...?" he couldn't finish the question. The pain he had felt when he fell seemed real.
""YOU! WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?" his companion shouted at the strange man.

He turned to Evil and said "They're not rescuing us, let's move away," This disappointed Evil, although he trusted this man more than these strangers.

"Personally, I'm not sure what's going on. It turns out that the link we," The person around Evils' age motioned to all of the people nearby, "clicked got us stuck inside the guild. The dragon person is Muse. No clue where he came from, but he can shape shift into anything, and is trying to get us back to reality."

Evil turned to leave, as the strange man. What was he called again? Muse? He began walking in the opposite direction, back into the forest as the man, Muse, pleaded with Evils' Companion. Evil really wasn't paying attention, and almost fell over himself when a ball of fire rushed past him, and half-lighted, half-destroyed there fire they had been building. Small bits of wood were blown a few meters away from the fire. Muse had Evils' attention now. All he did was apologize, so Evil once again turned to leave, and half-jogged to keep up with his companion.

‘I’m assuming that fire was kind of important to – hey! Wait a minute!” Muse spouted.

Evil didn't pay any attention at all. He didn't even look back. He glanced at his companion, who was the only one he trusted. If we're in the Guild, they could be anyone, they could be free roleplayers, casuals or... arena players... He didn't want to take any chances and end up getting himself killed, and considering this stranger, Muse, could breath fire, well that gave him a huge advantage over them if they got into a fight. He would however, be a powerful ally. What did that one kid say? He was going to get us out of here? How? Impossible! R-right?

Suddenly Muse said something that made Evil turn his head to face him, and having not been paying attention to wear he was going, he tripped over a log and landed hard on his bottom.

"“…You guys are still roleplayers, right?”
Sorry for the short post once again, been busy and feeling creatively drained lately. I'll try to post more often however, as I should be more free this week. I need to incorporate checking the Guild as part of my daily schedule. It's really getting on my nerves when I forget to check it after a day has gone by. :/
While gathering wood, Evil noticed in the darkness a figure flying towards them at a rapid speed. It landed and changed into a human. It seemed to have some companions with it too. It ran up to the man Evil had been traveling with.

Evil stood in awe. "Wh- What?" he uttered to himself, as a dragon changed to a human before his eyes. He dropped the wood he'd been carrying, as his backpack was full and ran over. He heard the "dragon" talking to his companion about how he recognized him, or something similar. He couldn't really make it out, the man was talking so quickly. Evil was very surprised at the strange "Morphing Ability" this man seemed to have, and it reminded him of a roleplay he had been in where he was a werewolf. The man himself He noticed the "dragon" had come with a few passengers. He walked over to one near a tree, and noticed how wet he was. He turned to the roleplayer. He seemed to be around his age. Brown hair, , gloves. He hoped this Roleplayer had the answers he sought.

"What just happened? A dragon just turned into a human before my eyes? You were on his back, c-can you explain please!?" he spoke in a tone louder than he had expected it to come out in.
I am also very busy lately, so please forgive lack of posts/length of posts.
"Do you want to go up?

The question rolled in Evil's head. Besides the fact that it was floating, and at quite a distance from the ground it seemed. There wasn't exactly an easy way up. Evil also was not familiar with any floating island roleplays, although he was familiar with Sci-Fi. Would it work? He thought, as he looked back to the brightened area of the forest. "Well we need to get up somehow." he thought. "We might need to do more running, i'm just gonna empty this bag." He opened his bag. "Geography? Nope." he tossed the book out. "English? Nuh-uh." Also tossing that book out. "Eolas an tSlí? Don't think I need to study religion in Irish anymore." He must've been an Irish roleplayer. He didn't sound very Irish, probably because of his prepubescent voice.

By the end of it he was left with a reading book, some semi-blank copies and a couple pens. He lifted it onto his back again. "Right. So before we start running, i've got an idea." he stepped into the lightened area. "I made this roleplay, so i'm like the GM right?" he asked himself, more than the person. Right, so i'm just gonna think really hard about a hoverboard and poof, a hoverboard will appear. That's how it works, right? Asspull?" He must have stood there for five minutes, but to no avail. "Well that didn't work." He was about to start running again, when he had another idea. "We're in darkness..." he looked back at his books. "Light is very visible in darkness. Too bad I don't have my phone on me. How's yours? Bah, light's probably not light enough." He began looking for branches, throwing them in his bag and then dumping them on the books. He looked to the man. "Come on, you gonna help or not? I don't feel like running, besides, we're in some different roleplay so I doubt they can follow us into this one." he then went back to gathering wood for a large fire to signal anyone on the island.
