I'm not sure how long I expect to be out, but I have an idea - I can just lay up in the nurse's office on one of the beds (if there is one) and rest up until real me can get the energy to post.
Sounds like a plan.

On a related note: Did Rose say that she would be gone for a while?

So... The new plan is that Euclid the Character is going to rest on a bed in the nurse;s office, right? Can I, for the sake of easy writing, say that he fell asleep in one of my posts? Something like Leon turning to Euclid to ask him a question, upon which the former notices that the latter has fallen asleep. Of course, this still leaves the problem of Rose (and possibly Leon) likely not wanting to leave Euclid behind...

I'm currently ill right now (it's since yesterday, actually), so I might not be able to post a casual-standard post today.

Casual-standard is really only one paragraph, you know. Basically everyone here's been posting Advanced-standard paragraphs just because. Not that I have any problem with people writing more than required; just saying its not an issue if people's post lengths decrease a bit at the moment.

Then what about those posts in advanced section that goes ten pages or even more? How would you call it? I guess standards have inflated, haven't they?

Actually, before the site went down I took a peak at several Advanced RPs just cause, and they were indeed 5 paragraphs or more.

I'm not saying they don't exist. Because they do. The extremes on both ends of the spectrum have to reside in Free/Advanced because there's no where else for them to go.But, not all of Advanced is like that. In fact, the majority of it isn't. They say stereotypes are rooted in truth, after all, and that is true in this case - but that doesn't mean all of Advanced falls into that stereotype. You can make two-paragraph posts in Advanced, and unless the GM has specifically set higher standards for his/her RP alone, that's perfectly fine.

Most ones I saw where...Uhh...Well like, 12 Paragraphs per post. Now, after thinking about it for a bit, maybe it's just kind of a cycle. Longer posts = More to react to = Longer posts.

That's really the reason why all roleplay posts reach the length they do, unless the GM is pushing for more/less.'Tis the reason why this RP's posts are almost all Advanced-level. I never told anyone they had to post that much; it just sort of evolved that way.And I've been in plenty of Advanced RP's that didn't have Godzilla-size standards. Did you try looking past the first page or so? The beginnings to every roleplay usually have longer posts to start with, since everyone needs to get their intros in. Things tend to mellow out once the story gets going. How far did you look?

Couple pages in, although, and I don't want to be offensive, but they did seem to be artificially lengthened, like including pointless details such as how the counter the character walked by to get to a car gleamed with the sun as it slowly rose in the morning light, wile the rain reflected whatever, the characters mellow face. Something like that. I still feel my posts aren't long enough, but I do not want to artificially lengthen them. Please, if you want more or less of me, just ask.
