((BREATHE DAMN YOU))

Heather froze and turned to Matthew, taking a few steps closer to him, despite him telling her to run. "You can't be serious! Without you the entire army falls! At least let someone champion you. Perhaps the Pegasus Knight? Her magic won't hurt her much. Heck, I'll do it, neither of us could hurt each other." she smiled at the somewhat amusing image, but it faded fast.
Yeah, the servers are being annoying lately, but there are times when it's stable. Maybe you're catching it at bad times I guess.

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better! If you want to talk you can shoot me a PM anytime.
So uh....how're things? :P
We're here if you want to talk @Mistress Dizzy. Hope things get better for you!
Veragwen shrugged as they walked and got closer to Richard, "I suppose so, but it's hard to protect him from here. If anyone was around him they could probably catch him before we could get there..."

She smiled at Kest as he held the door open for her. "Thank you, Sir Kest." As she passed she turned her head forward to smile at the shopkeeper, but it faded when she saw it wasn't him. Vera visted this store fairly frequently, and would know of any new hires. The man also seemed a little shifty for her liking. Like he knew he wasn't supposed to be there. Something was up.

She mentioned nothing about it and instead turned to smile at Richard, "Good morning, Richard. You really should've came and got me first. It's hard to protect you when you aren't around. Actually, maybe you should move into my place now that I think about it, I have an extra room you could stay in. Ah, but I'm getting off topic. What brings you to the weapons shop? Thinking about learning to fight? It certainly couldn't hurt, right? I'd be happy to give you some pointers if you'd like." she said, smiling at Richard while watching the shopkeeper out of her peripherals.
Veragwen smiled at Kest, "Oh good! I'm glad. Perhaps tomorrow I'll pick out something ugly to wear to test that theory...perhaps a full suit of armor?" she said thoughtfully rubbing her chin. "Of course, then you might not be able to recognize me." Vera giggled.

She frowned at hearing Mara wasn't feeling well, "Oh, that's a shame. Perhaps later we could stop by and see her? I'm sure I've got something to help her feel better."

She looked towards where Kest pointed, and followed after him, "That's Richard and you're right. I told him I'd protect him anyway. Do you really think it's necessary to follow him, though? Couldn't we just go ask what he's up to and tag along? In any case I wonder what he's so excited about?"
Oh, I should've tagged you too in what I just said @AirBender. I forget you're Co-GM. Sorry. lol
@Leolycan@Apollosarcher Perhaps you could play Heather's father? Although, I'm not sure of how much screen time you'd get unless he joined the party too.
You didn't really try to be that convincing from what I read... and Matthew already knew your looks and dress it wouldn't be hard to tell. Although him knowing about every soldier is a bit much. I'll give you that.
Heather nodded and stayed close to either Matthew or Jerod, although the latter man was a bit scary to be close to. Luckily, she had a staff she could use at range to heal him with if the need arose. Which it did often it seemed. Jerod never stood in one spot and seemed to never care too much for his own safety according to his fighting style....and using his own body to trap weapons. Such a style made him hard to care for since she couldn't heal the wound completely until whatever weapon was out of him.

She had never realized battles were so...brutal. Heather was no stranger to a staff, but practice with it wasn't all from battles. It made her a bit sick, but she had more important things to worry about. Keeping everyone healthy was first and foremost. She could feel sick later.

She stuck close to Matthew, although she still left him enough room to swing his sword, as Jerod seemed content to do his own thing unless Matthew gave him orders. She doubted she could rely on Jerod to protect her at the moment. At least until the others joined them. Speaking of, she'd use her Festal to heal any distant allies, although the arrows being shot at her pretty frequently made it hard to focus. Matthew couldn't block all of them so some she had to stumble out of the way of. So many people to keep an eye on. I'm not sure I can keep up... If something wasn't done to thin the enemy numbers quick, Heather would probably tire pretty quickly...
