Backstory: Yu-na is the second-born child of a loveless (and eventually failed) marriage. Her parents divorced when she was three. Her brother Koya (born Ko-ya) is eight years her senior (24) and her primary caretaker currently. Her mother was an office lackey who worked fearlessly through the ranks to become the CEO of PXL Inc., a fast-rising software and electronics company. There was slander that the company used sweatshops in minor prefects and smaller Asian countries to supply them with products. Her mother repeatedly denied such rumors, although it is unknown whether it happened under her leadership or not. Well, to the public at least. Yu-na was in the know that her mother was fighting hard against the company's corruption, changing regulations and working conditions for the companies that she sourced from. If they weren't ethical, they didn't have a deal. Yu-na only gathers a small inkling of what is really going on, knowing that there wasn't something quite right about her mother's death. The warning was the biggest tip-off. Oh, how terribly right she is and she'll soon discover the truth if she keeps on the right path...
Hera
Appearance:
Description: Sister-wife of the Almighty Zeus, Hera is the Queen of the Greek Gods. She is the goddess of women, childbirth, marriage, family, and motherhood. She is the protector of all women, no matter who they are. But don't mistake her for being soft, however, as her wrath is potent and frequently deadly and/or debilitating. She can either be your worst nightmare or your saviour. It all depends on how you treat the ones she loves.
Uh, I know it's been a while since the last post but I absolutely loved the anime and I'm halfway through the manga series. I'm interested if this is still happening u-u
@Hyde Yeah, there was spotty participation even then, but now it's pretty much dead. Right now for anime, I really love JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. But honestly anything from the above genres listed. Maid-sama (which just got uploaded on Netflix), Parasyte, Assassination Classroom, anything Corpse Party, Akame Ga Kill, Kill la Kill, Seraph of the End, Attack on Titan (although I couldn't really get into the second season), Tokyo Ghoul (same as AoT, RE just wasn't hitting the spot), Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy. There are tons of loves that I haven't even listed for anime. For video games, again the above-listed genres. The Dragon Age series (one of my all-time favorites), the Fable series, the Diablo series, Fallout series (I do have my likes and dislikes for this one), the Dishonored series, the Elder Scrolls series, Overwatch, APEX, Destiny (I haven't gotten to, so I'm stuck with the first), the Little Big Planet series, the Persona series, and there's this Japanese MMORPG I used to play more often call Onigiri. As I said, I'm pretty well-rounded and I have a ton of things I like.
Heya folks! My name's Faerrin, but you can call me Fae! I'm 17, nearing 18, and I've been roleplaying ever since I turned 12. So roughly six years. My writing has improved drastically, going from roleplaying in asterisks to many paragraphs at my whim. I started out in texts, quickly moving on to Goodreads, Roleplay. Me (which I used only twice), and other popular sites at the time. Now, I mainly use Discord, Wattpad, RPNation, and various forums to sate my interests. I consider myself an advanced literate roleplayer, as well as a dedicated one (if you can manage to pique my interest), and I look for those with the same sort of passion. I have begun getting more into tabletop gaming as well, so please be gentle if I have any questions (which is a lot of the time, I enjoy being thoroughly informed). Right now, we're stuck on eLearning in my state, so I'm looking for kindred spirits who want to kick off a (hopefully) long-lasting roleplay, or even multiple! I'm into anime, k-drama/j-drama, visual novels and otome/bishojo games, video games, manga, books, regular TV shows, and movies. My preferred genres for pretty much all are fantasy, adventure, action, sci-fi, isekai, horror, dark and gritty, post-apocalyptic, classics/cult classics, comedy, slice of life, and rom-coms. I know this puts up a lot of room for fandoms, but I'm pretty well-rounded. For music, my taste ranges everywhere pretty much except country (although bluegrass is nice). I like drawing, singing, writing (obviously), reading, watching TV, playing video games, and just chilling out with my music. Umm, I think that's all? If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
