Hello everyone! I am so pleasured to have finally found a dedicated roleplaying website that wasn't exclusively dedicated to RPGs.. Not that there is anything wrong with them. I have seen a few of the roleplaying posts, and sheesh, you guys are amazing at detail! I would love to learn and hone my skills alongside you if you'll have me! Also, I have never been on a forum based site before, and it may be difficult for me to navigate until I am used to it. If I post something or do something incorrectly, apologies in advance. Show mercy on my poor soul.. :)
Roleplaying career: I have roleplayed for quite a while, but I'm not quite sure when I started taking it seriously. I started mainly out on a Harry Potter website, but only used the lore and world as a crutch rather than playing actual characters from the series. I have always loved writing short stories and creating detailed, make believe worlds that I could be lost in for hours.
Roleplaying preferences: My favorite, and probably the only genre I will RP, is fantasy. Whether I am wood elf tracking a bear with my fellow hunters, or a princess falling in love with a prince at the foot of my dragon guarded tower, I love fantasy through and through. I have only ever done one-on-one roleplays, but I think that group RPs could be so much fun! I love detail, but also am a bit rusty at the moment. I like paragraph replies, but not quite article replies. Roleplaying makes me feel like I am a part of something, or that I am important to someone's story. It is something I enjoy greatly. :)
Hobbies and interests: I was born and raised in a cowpoke town, so my hobbies include things like fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, and camping. Animals are my forte. I am in a herpetological society, and I just got my first snake and named him Gimli(yes, lotr). He is a tangerine Honduran Milk snake, and I just adore him!
