I hereby accept any and all responsibility for that awful pun in my most recent post.
Ball Guy examined his Brigadier Ball. All the connection points for the other Ball Modules were just fine and dandy. Rou pondered just how far this schtick could go. How could he evolve the way he was using this? Combiners had been around since the early days of UC, but Rou was aiming to build off of everything that the source material had to offer. DAI-BALL-OH! was just a stepping stone to something bigger, but not yet. DAI-BAL-OH! still hadn't made a big enough impact on those in the meta. To truly leave this institution with those harking to his name, his execution would have to become perfect...Perfect Grade...
After his heartfelt talk with Alex, Ball Guy returned to the still full auditorium. Many eyes were on him. It was so strange, Rou hated being subject to scrutiny, but as Ball Guy he loved being the center of attention. He patted the hard case containing his Ball Modules. DAI-BALL-OH! hadn't see ln the field since Rou arrived. No one had given him enough of a reason or challenge. Would this 3v3 be able to bring out the best in him?

isn't he one of the youngest though?

I think he's only older than Alex, but yeah that's the funny part
Ball Guy for Wise old battler stereotype
"Alex, every day has its ups and downs. What you make of them is your choice. If people judge you before they battle you, that's their loss."

Ball Guy stood back up. "I know one thing. Should we meet on that battlefield tomorrow, friend or foe, your champion status means nothing to me. All I request is that you give it your all, with fellow builders and fighters who are doing the same, and you'll find your fun."
Ball Guy rested a hand on Alex's shoulder. "Do not fret, friend. Those who strive to harass others for their accomplishments have none of their own." Ball Guy pointed to the Star AGE Gundam. "Your partner is looking well these days. I trust you're really learning what Gunpla encompasses?" He squatted down to Alex's level. "Gunpla is an ever evolving hobby Alex. Whether you're a creative and resourceful builder, or a daring and brave fighter, there is always room to rise further upwards." Ball Guy clapped Alex on the back once more.
Ball Guy proudly walked up the stairs to the machine, feeling all eyes on him. He yanked the lever as the machine randomized his number. It stopped on B2. Ball Guy turned around and snapped his fingers into a pointing position at the crowd before leaving the stage.
While Alex was distracted, Rou slipped away quietly. "I'm gonna go put this in the room real quick. Be right back."

Rou quickly rushed to the room and threw the shopping bag on his bed. A 3v3? There's no way he was ready for that mentally. He opened up his closet and dug out his Ball Guy costume. Rou slipped into the spandex and donned the helmet before casually leaving the room. He didnt know when the battle would take place, so he attached the hard case containing his Ball modules to his waist. Two new ones gleamed in their slots, and they would be tested.

Ball Guy returned to the main hall and stood silently in the crowd as Satsuki finished explaining.
Rou finished shoveling food into his mouth. He picked up his sack of goodies and rushed after Alex. In between chewing he tried to speak.
