Life surely likes to screw me, so after jobless, homeless and corona...I'm glad I get to have a decent job again and I hope I don't lose it, sorry guys for ghosting.
As I have said in the interest check ‒ Fate/Top Brass is a roleplay centered on top-tier Masters and Servants. While the venue of the Holy Grail War is in Fuyuki, this doesn't mean that we are tied to the canonized reality because this RP is an AU. The Holy Grail War Saga is comprised of two factions, as this a 14-Servant battle ‒ the teams are Alpha and Omega. Instead of the usual plot twists like the corruption of the grail and any other form of backstabbing acts like the source materials had shown, we won't have any of that. Simply because, the objective is to have a legitimate victor of this holy grail war.
In Fate/Top Brass, the canon characters exists but their influence doesn't affect the plot we're partaking: the 7th Holy Grail War and the differences are big. Kariya didn't leave the Matō household years before the fourth holy grail war, he killed Zōken and assumed the leadership of the clan; leading the Matō to greatness. As Kariya is infertile, Sakura still got adopted but in a nicer fashion in adherence to the magus law of one child inheritance. Though reluctant of Sakura learning the Matō magecraft, Kariya raised her to be a Magus, grooming Sakura to be a confident person and an even more powerful magus than her sister, Rin. In the events of the fourth holy grail war, the summoned servants were Berserker Lancelot (Kariya's), Caster Gilgamesh (Initially Ryuunosuke, later Kirei), Assassin Cursed Arm (Kirei, CA died by the hands of Gil), Archer Karna (Tokiomi), Rider Iskandar (Waver, Iskandar got owned by Gil), Saber Diarmuid (Kayneth and Diarmuid defeated Artoria with hit-and-run/ambush tactics), Lancer Artoria (Kiritsugu killed Kayneth, leaving Diarmuid masterless).
It became a showdown between Gilgamesh, Karna and Lancelot. Gilgamesh formed a pact with Diarmuid and killed Karna since Lancelot stole Vijaya at a certain point. With Vijaya, victory was assured in the hands of Lancelot and Kariya: his wish was simply within the boundaries of the world, his fertility so that the bloodline can continue with fine practitioners, Lancelot's fate is unknown. The Fuyuki Great flame never happened.
Prior the 5th Holy Grail War, Sengo Shirou ‒ descendant of the great swordsmith, Sengo Muramasa was chosen by the grail and trained magecraft under Emiya Kiritsugu, inheriting the Emiya crest through unknown methods. Shirou was groomed to be a "Seigi no Mikata" like his deceased master before him, in the 5th holy grail war, he summoned Kiritsugu as his servant, Assassin. They defeated Medea and brutally killed Kuzuki in the first day of the war, forced to severe the contracts of Saber Artoria and Rin, Medusa and Sakura while Lancer Cu with Bazett defeated Heracles/Illya and lost to a masterless Archer Gilgamesh. Shirou defeated Gilgamesh by utilizing Unlimited Blade Works and Muramasa's NP, ultimately winning the war.
Sengo Shirou later changed his name to Emiya Shirou, making a pact with Counterforce due to his wish. He got the harem ending of fathering Rin, Illya and Sakura's children. His wives quitted magecraft altogether and eloped with him.
Time to contradict my claim of the war being "proper".....
Twenty years later, March 2024, a holy grail war is announced but with 14 servants. Naturally, Fuyuki wouldn't be able to sustain leylines for it but it seems that there's more than meets the eye to current grail war. Chaldea discovered that current grail war is a pseudo-singularity and spotted, who appears tk be Saint Germain. What is the meaning behind the war and its connection to the pseudo-singularity?
That being said, I'm a flexible GM.
C1: Golden Rule I don't really look for deadlines and posting requirements but I will establish when we need to chop-chop.
C2: Honor your time. We have personal stuff to cater, it's best if we inform each other first. Family time and holiday seasons are meant to be enjoyed. Your own discretion if you wanna RP in those times.
C3: Quality over Quantity I rather accept a quality post than a block of paragraphs that do not make sense. Make your posts count.
C5: Don't be a dick. You know what I mean. BREAK THESE RULES ABD YOU ARE BANNED.
As the title of this RP says. I am allowing overpowered characters except joke servants, summer servants, Christmas servants etc.
Gilgamesh, Heracles, Ozymandias and Karna are all allowed except Nursery Rhyme. Funny business Servants, and canon servants with partial(incomplete) sheets are a no-no. Additionally, no Servant that would qualify for 'Grand' will be accepted at this time. Certain sheets or aspects of sheets may not be allowed for power balancing, though I expect this to be a rare occurrence. Double summon is inapplicable, so no Semiramis.
Eastern Servants and Counter Heroes are allowed.
All Servants must be historic or mythological figures who were born before 1902AD. Figures before Gilgamesh are banned. Additionally, Gods and such are not applicable. Humans, mixed bloods, machines, and animals qualify as Servants. Try to avoid composite skills where able.
Masters may not be able to fight a Servant defensively. However, we are talking about top brass Masters, a few might but be careful. I therefore allow mixed-blood Masters, those with oni-blood etc. I will not allow over 100 years old masters.
