Stubborn and ambitious, Kyra is willing to put up with anything to get the job done. She's blunt, harshly so, and won't hesitate to spill the truth even if it means someone will get hurt. More of a doer than a talker, she'd rather jump into whatever task she's on rather than plan it out. Because of this, she can come off as impulsive and hotheaded. History:
Kyra was born in a small town in Nevada to a somewhat poor family of five. Despite their lack of finances, she had a fairly happy childhood. She'd often venture around the neighborhood with her siblings, messing around and sometimes causing trouble, while simultaneously helping out in the family store.
Things grew harder as the business closed down. Kyra and her siblings worked multiple jobs at once to help pay the bills, while her parents argued more and more frequently. With lowering grades in school and the constantly looming threat of bankruptcy, life seemed like utter chaos.
Despite this, however, Kyra found solace. In her few moments of free time, Kyra frequently visited the local children's hospital as a volunteer. She'd help out the nurses and children, eventually becoming somewhat of a regular. It was during those times Kyra knew what she wanted to do.
Eventually, Kyra began to get her life back together. Her grades gradually improved until she was at the top of her class. She studied frequently, working hard towards her aim. She soon graduated Highschool and, eventually, college. She had gotten accepted into a well known medical school in Australia. Her family was closer than it had been before. Everything was finally falling into place.
Kyra booked a plane to Austrailia, flying with her sister towards a brighter future. She would attend medical school and become a renowned doctor, helping not only her family but hundreds of patients along the way. Or so she thought.
But Fate, it seemed, had other plans.
