“Hey, I've got 'em distracted! Hit 'em with your scythe!”
Ugh, idiot, this was a fight we didn't need to have Bridget though maliciously to herself nothing for it now but to get his bacon out of the fire.
Taking a moment to asses the situation and try to come up with a strategy, Bridget aimed the weighted end of her chain carefully and hurled it, just past a Beowulf and around the base of a tree on the other side of the clearing. Tugging on the scythe end of her kusarigama Bridget tensed her whole body out in order to put full force into a double heel kick right into the face of a Beowulf causing its head to snap back leaving its throat nicely exposed to the blade that came following right behind. With a strangled gurgle the Beowulf tumbled over backwards and landed with a heavy thud as Bridget landed in a roll and came up holding her chain tight blocking the swipe she knew was coming. It came, just as she was expecting, but man those things hit HARD. It launched her into the treeline and out of sight, leaving a few cuts on her face. for a few moments nothing happened, then the chain came shooting out of the bushes once more attaching itself to another tress across the clearing and Bridget came rocketing out after it one foot landing on a Beowulf in passing. Pushing off with that foot she performed a little flip that wrapped the chain around its neck and as she landed from the maneuver she yanked as hard as she could, dragging the creature down with her, stunned, but not out. with a few deft flicks of her wrist she gathered all parts of her weapon back to her and danced back a few steps, blade spinning on a length of chain, watching everything around her as best she could, with this much going on, her semblance was just too much to keep up.
"You know" she said mildly, as though nothing of import was occuring "anytime you feel like joining in would be fine"
