The pasting multiple paragraphs gave me issues at first too, so while I've already given Zran the solution via Steam I'll repeat it here in case anyone else has the same issue.

Basically the sheet tried to notice any punctuation you already have in something being copied, so any line breaks you have will automatically try to push anything below the break into the next cell down. Simple fix is to take out any line breaks and paste it all as one block, then use Control+Enter to put the breaks back in and keep all the text in the same cell.

The second issue is even more straight forward, just look for the top, middle and bottom align buttons along the toolbar, should be right next to the more traditional left,right, centre align buttons.
I will be posting when i get home, tried last night but managed to get nowhere with it, so yea 10-12 hours from now I'll be writing up a post.
Been done, yes, by me no less (and sarz more recently). Still crime lords have rivals, Kuryi (mine) has managed to secure himself a leadership position within the lower ranks of the Syndicate, which is basically all the major crime lords banding together in something of an alliance, think of it a little like the five families of the itallian-american mafia. Of course another character taking the crime lord path could take a different route and try to stay independent of the Syndicate, or try to move up the ranks as well. Hell when Kuryi started he didn't even have a Syndicate contact, he earned it by being one of the winning participants of the hunt I mentioned before. so its certainly possible to change your starting status through ingame stuff.
Competition, not so much it is a big galaxy afterall, it all just comes down to scale. Advanced character can do a whole lot more because they have access to more resources.that said one of the 'major events' of the rp before Guildfall was a bounty hunting job more or less that saw 5 or 6 of us racing against each other to find the target, none of us used our capital ships for it (at least until the end where half of us decided to assault the fortress the target was in, even then two of us chose to sneak in quietly.) so we were all more or less playing to the basic character level at that point. The difference being our other assets could do other things at the same time.
They are something of a hard slog, but ultimately you get far more options with them and the scale of play with a advanced rules character is closer to a nation rp. of course its entirely possible to make gains and reach that level over time with a basic rules character.

Ok Asura, traits for your droid are as follows.

Physical:
>Blaster Proficiency 3
>Marksman Programming (droid version of natural gunner)
>Armoured Chassis 1 (droid version of armour proficiency)
>Piloting Proficiency 1

Tech Skills and Proficiencys
>Medic 1
>Integrated Shield Generator 1 (Personal shield for droids)

You may now post when you wish, though a suggestion about your ship, you might consider at least a pair of laser cannons for basic defense, there is a war on you know.

Those three lt's would need a slight revision (by way of the addition of a couple of traits each to match the new base rules), but other than that I don't see a problem with reusing them.

...and yes I do still have a file with them in it... Im a packrat when it comes to rp stuff. :p
Ah i think i know whats happened, try scrolling to the right, alternatively hold control and press minus a few times.
You have 1000SP specifically to spend on holdings (you actually cant use the wealth trait granted SP for holdings) and yes the 'needs permission' bit is assumed for starting assets, be aware though that you're better off picking less prominent worlds for the location of these holdings, less chance of getting embroiled in the war that way :p

the first tab of the template doc has boxes for all 6 trait catagories (this is all assuming of course you're going for the 'uber difficult rules' and not the cut down revised ones kad put up more recently) the only change you'd need to make to the main page of the template is changing force powers to tech skills and proficiencies.

And lastly yes there are some restrictions on race, and I believe Anzat were firmly in the no section. basically the further a race is in capability from baseline humans, the less likely it is to be acceptable, its a balance thing.
