_Personality

Akane is very upbeat and enjoys living every day to the fullest, always seeking out new experiences and connections with new people. She tends to be very open with her words and actions, sometimes to the point of bluntness, but always makes sure to smooth over any hurt feelings afterward.

While she maintains her upbeat demeanor around others, those that get to know her well know that she has a quieter, more pensive side when alone. She writes music and poetry with a definite melancholy feeling, but refuses to share any of it.

- Spicy food, she actually has a terrible heat tolerance but loves it anyway.

- Anything that gets her blood pumping, from exercise to good music

_Biography

Akane lived a pretty normal life in a small beach town for most of her childhood. Her father, a corporate executive, lived in a nearby city for work and only visited home when his busy schedule permitted, leaving her mother to raise Akane and her older sister Jun on her own for the most part. They were financially quite comfortable, but her father's traditional attitude carried over to home, and both sisters felt stifled by the expectations laid on them.

Akane and Jun were as close as sisters could be all the way through high school, especially once Jun got her driver's license and the freedom to travel where they pleased. They had the run of the town, and they made the most of every day. Jun even decided to find work in town for the year after she graduated so the two could attend university in the same year, something that they both looked forward to immensely.

That ended on the night of Akane's graduation, when a drunk driver smashed into the driver's side of Jun's car as she took Akane to the ceremony. She was killed instantly, and Akane was hospitalized for weeks.

Once she was released from the hospital, she realized that the town where she had spent her life would forever be haunted by the memory of her sister, and packed her bags to escape somewhere else, anywhere that would let her find some kind of peace.

A few weeks ago, she arrived on Erusea and got herself a small apartment, ready to begin a new life in a new home.

@TheForgottenArc I feel like I'm skirting the rule on auto-hitting with that last one, but I recall a lot of beatings in DBZ that don't have a lot of effect. So basically I figure it's fairest for you to decide whether Josh is actually damaged here or if he shrugs it off.

Daiko dove toward the grounded android and unleashed a powerful luck, driving him to the ground.

"An impressive skill, I admit. But while you might be able to vanquish a mere human by stealing their energy, the might of a Saiyan knows no bounds! Now savor the taste of my power, because it's the last thing you'll ever feel."

She let loose with a barrage of punches from above, pounding the android warrior against the dirt.

Hopefully this display gets him to retreat, or surrender... I don't know how much stronger my energy made him, and I can't risk firing another blast if he might catch it. If this doesn't wear him down, I might have a problem.

She finished her attack and pulled Josh up by his left arm, careful to avoid touching his hand.

"Finished yet, Earthling? Or do I have to waste more of my time on you?"

I hope my last post was okay. From what I remembered from the show, androids (Android's that have that red ball on their hand as Gero had, and like Josh has now) can absorb energy blast thrown at them. If you want me to change it I can!

I (and Daiko) figured that he would try to catch it, but that attack has more physical force than energy. I thought it would make sense if that was absorbed, but with the side effect of being forced back with it.

Daiko struggled against the hold and tore herself free, grabbing hold of the android's left arm.

Urgh... That energy drain is no joke. This fight has only begun, and I already feel tired. And that means he's probably even stronger than before... I don't have time for this now. My scouter says Raditz' energy just surged, meaning he's started a fight himself... Have to finish this quickly.

She flung Josh toward the ground, and raised one of her fists to the sky, gathering a swirling yellow ball of energy.

"Alright then, try and absorb this, weakling! ROYAL CRUSHER!"

She cast the beach-ball sized blast down after her opponent, aiming to drive him into the ground.
