That totally works for me!

So in terms of starting things off for them (I probably could try to swing an intro tonight or tomorrow after I finish packing) I foresee Raven having revealed herself as Gabriela during the fight but they never had a chance to talk during the chaos as they were trying to escape.

And with Nat and Steve, should they be briefed on the mission? We may need to figure out those details, unless that was something you wanted to explore organically?

EDIT - I'm crashing, I'll try to hop on tomorrow when I can!
Where True Strength Lies

A MCU RP between myself and monettes.

I will be Raven, Laura and Steve.

Monettes will be Logan, Charles and Natasha.

Alright so the general gist is we'll be writing two timelines in one RP, one set in Logan's 2029 and the other set in 2013, following the events in New York City.

Logan, Laura, Raven and Charles will be trying to tackle Transigen while on the road, on the run, in hiding, what have you. Likely the timeline to get Laura to the border crossing could be extended, as well as pushing the death of Xavier back, likely due to Raven's addition to the team, we could likely start with her revealing her form post fight with Transigen while on the road.

And Natasha and Steve will be taking assignments from SHIELD to help take down various threats, often working undercover both nationally and internationally. Their first target would take them to Detroit to uncover the working of biological warfare being shipped both domestically and internationally.

We hadn't yet talked about general post sizes. Did you have a general range you were looking to hit?
@Belle It would depend on the characters involved as it can get a bit overgrown without a clear image of a main cast and focus.
@monettes Awesome! I'm happy to write with you. I'll PM you shortly.
At Shikamaru's comment, she gave a weak but still guilty smile. "S-sorry, I don't really know that much about you...except what Ino tells me." She was regretting the choice to abruptly tell Ino when perhaps, she and Shikamaru would have benefited from a few hours, at least, of getting to know one another. Ino would likely see through their ruse if they weren't careful. Shikamaru went on to explain what sort of food they could enjoy, though Sakura was hardly a picky eater and would have been content with barbecue.

Nodding slightly, she loosened her grip around his arm.

His gesture of actually following through and taking her out, was kind and though he was right about her sticking her neck out for him, she considered the cause being love, to be worth the trouble. If Ino would be happy with Shikamaru, she would do this favor for them both and in a few weeks, it would likely be done and over with, if Ino fell into their trap. "I suppose, though I don't know if she'll even remember recommending us a place but I'll bring it up next time I see her and see what her reaction is." Sakura replied after careful consideration, not sure of the inner workings of Ino's mind. Even Sakura couldn't read her moods perfectly but she was sure Ino had taken notice to Shikamaru, which was what they wanted.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, Sakura saw it was nice and could see why Ino had her eye on it.

The pair were seated by the window and handed menus. Sakura took hers and opened it up. Although she had been told she could order whatever she wanted, she would try to pick something modestly priced, not wanting to take advantage of his generosity. Before her eyes could wander further down the selection, Shikamaru spoke up prompting her to blush slightly, caught off guard by his blunt observation. "You know...Sasuke wasn't much of a talker either. Naruto did most of the talking in our team." She explained.

"While I do appreciate the tactic, I can't pretend you're Sasuke, even if you both share a few commonalities." She said gently. "All I know is what I read about in romance novels...not the ones Kakashi Sensei reads! I just...I think we should try and find what feels natural to us. We're both out of our depth." She considered as she glanced down at the menu and saw there was a stew with vegetables and noodles and slices of pork that was reasonably priced. "Ino won't expect a whole lot from us but she will want to know everything." She warned,

Of course they still needed to practice being a couple, which would not be easy. Sakura looked to the woman who returned to take their order. Sakura gave hers, as did Shikamaru and then they were alone. Reaching over, Sakura laced her fingers with Shikmaru's as their palms rested on the table. "I think couples listen to each other and care about the other's feelings and comfort, act intuitive and foresee the other's needs. I think that means if it's cold, I could bring a scarf for you? Or if I'm working, you bring me lunch?" Sakura still wasn't sure, only speculating, knowing they'd both need to think about it.

Sakura looked to Shikamaru and then to their hands, unsure if that felt natural or not. "What if I was Ino?" She asked in return, wondering what sort of thoughts he had on the matter. But like she pointed out, it was hard to replace someone with another, even with an imagination. 'I don't think Sasuke would take me to a place like this, I don't he'd care one way or another.' She thought to herself, frowning slightly, recalling how vapid her previous daydreams were.
Haha I wouldn't have minded if you rested before posting. XD I'll check it out now and get something up soon enough, you rest well, you've done a lot already~!
Holy shit.

I'm glad you're okay.

That sounds freakin scary though!
His eyes traveled from the arena, back to Korra as she wrestled with her thoughts. He was glad to hear she made it back okay. Amon and his supporters could be dangerous, even if Korra was the Avatar, they could have caught her off guard. If something had happened to her, he would never have been able to forgive himself. Bolin took a deep breath and began to divert his attention back to the two fighting teams in front of them but Korra spoke up. The earth bender felt tense, as he had been avoiding this talk for as long as possible but it was inevitable. It had to be. They had to talk about things. Pretending they were okay, was not okay.

Even if it was uncomfortable and painful.

Friends didn't just bail or ignore the first sign of trouble.

He could sense her anxiety and it in turn was making his own muscles cramp up. There were new knots forming in his chest as Korra tried to explain what she could, to the best of her ability. Bolin tried to follow her logic though it was disjointed. "I...see." He said with much difficulty when she mentioned not knowing about his affection for her. She glanced down, feeling all the more embarrassed. It wasn't often that Bolin doubted himself, but in that moment, he had to compare himself to Mako and wonder what it was that his brother had, that Bolin didn't. Maybe it wasn't a trait, as much as it was something else.

As Korra continued to push through her words, he listened intently though it felt like he was somewhere else, on some big mountain somewhere, only hearing a faint voice. Even the roar of the crowd around them fell on deaf ears. It was like his whole world had become muted and grey and he had no place he belonged. Nowhere to go. Bolin swallowed. "Yeah, you like Mako. I get it." He said it so simply, so casually even though it punctured his heart. He eyelids were half-open as he glanced off, a slight smile of pain and acceptance gracing his lips. Bolin brought up his arm and rubbed the back of his neck. "I can't hold your feelings against you, Korra...or your lack of feelings, in this case."

"You know, if you had just been honest with me, up front, I would have still taken you out as a friend. It didn't have to be a...date." Bolin told her, his voice slowly returning to him as he finally looked to Korra, his pained smile gone, replaced with an unusual seriousness. "I like you Korra, a lot. But we've only known each other a short time." He considered. "I still want to be friends with you and I'll deal with my own feelings and make sure they don't get in the way of us being friends. I just don't see why you thought you had to get in the middle of Mako and Asami's relationship." He thought aloud as he looked back to the match in front of them as there was a break for both teams to get some water and catch their breath.

"You had no right to kiss him. It's fine if you don't like me but Mako and Asami are together and you have to respect their decision. If Mako had any feelings toward you, they don't matter when he's with Asami. I've tagged along on some of their dates, don't judge me I was hungry, and they make each other really happy. I know it hurts to watch someone you think you like, like someone else." He slowed down to collect his remaining thoughts. "I just think after all Asami has done for you-for us, you would have treated her better. And I thought as friends, you owed me some honesty in not wanting to go on a date, instead of leading me on. Maybe I should have been more open about what I thought last night was but I thought your signals spoke for themselves. But I was wrong."

Bolin didn't have much else to say on the matter. "Do you regret kissing Mako?" He couldn't help but ask her quietly. He didn't think she did but he was curious to see where her thoughts were. Did she think it was a mistake or did she still think that kiss was the right thing to do?
So I got up an intro of sorts, let me know if either of you have questions! I should be around today and maaaybe tomorrow but then I'll be gone for about two weeks. When I get settled, I'll finish my CS stuff and make us some banners, but for now we have a start. Better than nothing. XD
With her heart strumming rapidly against her chest, Fiori staggered away from the Plains of Hoshido. Their group was small but formidable even in its early stage. Fiori knew she could put her faith and trust in the allies who had sided with them. Fiori had posed as a simple woman who Orinda had taken a liking to. Fiori was grateful to be given such an easy path into the royal Hoshido family, her resolve to save them from their looming fate only strengthened as she grew closer to the siblings and retainers who resided in Castle Shirasagi. Fiori was not from Hoshido, nor Nohr and knew it would be an uphill battle to convince both that their enemy was not the other, but someone else altogether.

Raising her simple staff, she looked to her brother, Philonius who looked a bit more tired than she was. "Philonius, come, we're not done." She called out to her twin. Though their reunion had been short, she was glad to see her bother. She and Philonius had agreed to part ways in order to both infiltrate each warring kingdom and gathered support in order to meet on the Plains of Hoshido at a designated time. While she was able to rally Orinda, Naoya and Sage, Philonius had been able to get Vance, Amos, Brigh, Faye, Kaspar and Sorscha. It was likely they may pick up some other allies while moving around, but for now Fiori was pleased with who was willing and ready to raise an arm to their cause, as vague as it was at the moment.

Philonius looked to where his sister was, his eyes focused on her. "Y-yeah, understood." Raising his own staff, the two siblings created a sapphire orb which expanded, a small opening made for safe passage. He looked to the others who were catching up or catching their breath. The battle they had just escaped from had been both emotional taxing and physically taxing. "I understand you all made sacrifices to join our cause and that your families may feel betrayed right now. Answers will come soon, please step through the portal so we can better explain the situation we are in why your assistance is so vital to the world's survival." Philonius spoke calmly and directly, trying not to belittle the battle that just took place while trying to move forward.

Both Nohr and Hoshido had followed the siblings and retainers to the plains and misunderstands went flying back and forth. Each kingdom accused the other of kidnapping or some kind of brainwashing espionage. Their group was able to introduce one another before both kingdoms appeared but Fiori and Philonius were unable to fully disclose the full reasoning behind their plea to get aid from both kingdoms. Fiori caught her brother's gaze and offered him a tight lipped smile, hoping that he would be able to put on a brave face just a bit longer. The twin looked to those who belonged to Nohr, grateful for their trust and hoped they did not regret their choice. But before anyone could move through the portal to safety, he held up a hand, having one last thing to say while they were on solid ground.

"Our fight only grows harder from here. My sister and I understand if you change your mind and decide to return to your kingdom." He began to speak, this time more emboldened. "You may walk away at any moment, if you so desire." He said, his gaze traveling from Nohr to Hoshido as he spoke. "However we hope that once we truly embark on this journey, it is one we stick with together. We cannot promise you will survive or that your ties to your family and friends remain intact. What we do promise is an end to the fighting, a unity that is based on truth, without any outside interference." Philonius motioned before motioned for those to step through. Fiori's smile relaxed as she saw Orinda step forward.

"I am tired of this fighting!" Orinda called out. She glanced toward the Hohrian folks, still not sure if she could trust them but if they intended to lay down their arms and direct their anger toward the real enemy, Orinda would trust their actions and not the actions of their family and military leaders. "I do not know what awaits us but I'm ready to do something productive." She said, nodding before she jumped through the glittering blue portal, stepping out into a wide courtyard that had dozens of cherry blossom trees scattered around. There were wooden buildings and birds flying up above. It seemed so perfect, somehow protected from bloodshed and fear. Turning, Orinda looked to see who would stick with Fiori and her brother, and who would walk away.

Next, Sage raised her hand silently, though she pledged her loyalty to the Hoshido family and should bring Orinda back to her distraught siblings and mother, Sage would follow her master anywhere, at any cost. Sage stepped through, saying nothing as she clutched onto her bow, just in case more enemies awaited her on the other side. Vance hailed from Nohr and was a retainer for Prince Erik and his betrayal, seen as treason, was something he could not magically undo. When Philonius approached him about King Garon, Vance was appalled by the accusations but in time, with much consideration, Vance decided he had to investigate the claim first hand. While he was loyal to his master, he was worried and knew continuing fighting against Hoshido would just bring both kingdoms crumbling down with no victor, only great loss.

"I know some may question my loyalty, considering who I dedicated myself to but I am doing this for the good of Prince Erik's sake, not because he asked it of me. I am not here under false pretenses. I openly told him my intentions to leave and that if that meant being branded a traitor, so be it. I have known him all my life, when my father was his retainer. When he passed, I took his place and vowed to protect Prince Erik." He said. Orinda and Sage glanced behind them to the portal, able to still hear what was being said. Sage clenched her jaw, making a face that clearly showed signs of ambivalence to Vance's loyalty. As Fiori and Philonius kept their staffs raised to hold open the portal, the mercenary walked through, hoping this would be a rebirth of sorts, allowing to serve Nohr in a new but promising way.
