Biography:
I was born in 470 R.C. to the rather illustrious Sharp family. My parents were both overjoyed and took great care to raise me and gene modify me to be a proper heir to the Sharp company. Mother had been having trouble conceiving, and it was considered a miracle that I was born at all.
However, less than two years later my mother gave birth again, this time to my beloved younger brother Arthur Sharp. Strange how fate works is it not?
My younger brother and I were both raised similarly and gene-modified to be intelligent individuals. There was something of a competitive streak between us. Though we loved each other deeply, I admit beating one another at various sports and competitions was one of the main joys we had.
As we grew older father took more time to teach us the ways of the company and business. And as intelligent as we both were, my brother had a talent for business that I never had. I’m afraid that around that time my competitiveness grew fiercer and fiercer. I took up many sports, namely fencing and running, to have something I could still claim to be beat at.
It gradually became apparent that I had a different path than what my father intended. It became clear that I was not suited for business. I was more suited to being an athlete, but another job requiring physical and mental strength and dexterity was calling me. The life of a soldier.
I joined the officer academy when I was 17 and spent a few years there training and giving my combat and leadership skills. It took time and effort, but I graduated near the top of my class. Serving the Zern Empire instilled me with purpose and pride and soon after my graduation rebirth of Piracy began.
My history in the military was fairly unremarkable but consistent. My squad was rated as one of the safest for soldiers to be a part of, and my failures and retreats can be counted on one hand. Perhaps I wasn't the most flashy or successful generals, but I was consistently performing well. Over time I began to accumulate renown and received several promotions. Eventually reaching the rank of Legate.
Not all was good, however. The pirates were vicious and caused much damage to Zern property and goods. And a few years into the war I received the news that my father was dead, and my little brother was taking his place. I couldn’t take time away from fighting pirates to attend the funeral. I grieved in private and kept fighting.
When the war was over I returned to Mars and continued to serve the royal family and rise in the ranks. It was around this time that I received my noble titles of Baron. With my newfound free time on Mars, I revitalized my interest in sports, including my new favorite, Falconry.
The Venue is set to leave for Venus quite soon, and I will be on board as one of the senior officers. Nothing honors me more than being trusted with such an important task.

Skills and Abilities
Refined human: as the first born of the Sharp family Din was rather extensively refined. While by no means super human, Din owes a great deal of his physical and mental strength and agility to his genetic refinement
Athleticism: Din participated in a large number of sports when he was younger, as a result he’s very athletic. He’s physically strong, quick on his feet and very dexterous.
Swordsmanship: Din is an accomplished fencer, but it was never his best sport. He has a history of making it halfway to the finals before losing a match and dropping out. He did make it to the semi finals once however, so don’t discount his sword play.
Falconry: Din’s favorite sport and the one he shows the most promise in. He and his falcon Soren have snatched victory in every falconry competition they have participated in these last two years.
Officer training: Din received officer training during his early days in the military, including lessons in marksmanship, tactics, leadership, and more.
Tactics: it’s not quite fair to call Din a master tactician. He’s just a very good one and all for one reason. Consistency and efficiency. Throughout the rebirth of piracy Din’s squads consistently took less damage than comparable squads, and downed more pirates per battle than average. He rarely scored a crushing win that instantly defeated a ship of pirates, but he also rarely lost a mobile suit of his own.
Personal Items and Equipment
Officer’s Sabre: A curved plasteel Sabre with an elaborately designed metal sheath that Din keeps on his belt. It is a sign of his authority and a close-range self-defense weapon. It has never drawn in self-defense before.
Self-defense pistol: a high caliber semiautomatic pistol with an unusually high penetration for a self-defense weapon. It holds 12 shots and has simple iron sights.
Soren the Peregrine Falcon: a well trained, well behaved, and all-around gorgeous peregrine falcon who has been Din’s partner for about 3 years. She’s notable for being very affectionate around humans, liking to climb on their arms and rouse to show off her plumage. It’s advised not to let her climb on you without appropriate protective gear.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Din is an extremely skilled and intelligent person with good marksmanship, swordplay, piloting, and tactical skills. All of this combines to produce a man who, at the top of his game is extremely dangerous to his foes, and extremely helpful to his allies. That’s not to say he is without faults though
Din thrives on success and being the top dog. When on the back foot or disadvantaged he takes extreme steps to correct that, sometimes to the detriment of himself and others. He can come off as arrogant and demanding and has a cruel streak to people that cross him. For all his skill, he’s still one man whose expertise lies in on foot swordplay and leadership. There are many aces with more skill and prowess than him
