"It just so happens I had been needing to go to the library anyway. I didn't catch either of your names by the way.", Ash stated, preparing to leave the apartment alongside his roommates.
"Well, I didn't throw it.", Mesuka countered, her gaze going from shooting daggers into the man to inspecting her cup of mint. Honestly, the Haka-born felt a tinge sadistic enjoyment as Ash succumbed to the venomous nature of Mesuka's tone. She didn't expect him to be so offended so quick. Yet, some moral code gnawed at the Haka-born from deep in her core, not allowing her to savor Ash's reaction fully. Perhaps she should let up just a little bit; he had agreed to go to the library, after all. That was somewhat kind of him.
"My name is Haka-Mesuka.", Mesuka responded, her tone still stinging but not quiet as deadly as before.
The female Lycan turned to Mortem as he talked by page to his cerberus. Sadly, it seemed that Mortem would have to ditch his almost ceremonial training in order to go to the library with Mesuka, as his familiar pressured. Looking at the skeleton with a slight smile on her face, Haka-Mesuka reassured the undead, saying,
"Hell, I'll spar with you in the court-yard, Mortem. It's not quite the dojo, but it'll do. If you give me sometime to study, I'll bring my knives.".
Grabbing a fur coat to cover herself, along with her belt of curved knives, Mesuka followed her other roommates out of their apartment and towards the library. Somewhere along the way, Yukka poked his green head out of the Lycan's furs and whispered,
"I'm proud of you, Mes."
Mesuka was happy to see Yg'ntha still placed in her almost immortal position as Librarian. When the Haka-born had first encountered the Filthmonger, she had goosebumps nearly everytime she would encounter the otherworldly falculty. However, over time the Lycan and Yg'ntha came to friendly terms, Mesuka finding the semi-woman's mysterious and all-knowing nature interesting and enjoyable to witness. Hopefully the aberration enjoyed the Haka-born's occasional appearances as well.

extinct. Honestly, the wolf girl only asked about Haka articles as she was inquisitive to know how the outside world viewed her extremely secluded pack. Other people, including her past roommates, had been awestruck by her description of her past community; she wondered if such responses were commonplace among studied scholars, as well.
Taking her books from Yg'ntha, Haka-Mesuka headed over to the bagoyep that the librarian had pointed out, that of which was currently in a conversation with... a seemingly bandaged man. Certainly, the young man seemed like a race that Mesuka had never encountered; dressed in common clothing like any person, but possessing the body of a mummy. The Lycan's curiosity only increased as she listened to the two's conversation as she approached.
“Assuming it would not be too impolite of me to ask, would you tell me about… what you are?”
"My thoughts exactly.", Mesuka added as she quietly sat down by the two, trying to scan and find some sense of familiarity in both Griffin's and Ethra's races. The Lycan swore she had read about the bagoyep species before in her first year, but could not remember the specific details of the alleged
"owl men". Griffin, however, she had no leads. Perhaps it was just a Lycan thing to be terribly curious.
"Pardon my intrusion, I'm just here to study, but I'm a might curious of his origins myself.", the Haka-born explained, setting her books down and looking at the Eaten with pure attention, her eyes becoming soft and attentive.
"If this was a more personal conversation, though, I'm fine with leaving you two to talk."
