Current Bradbury's 'There Will Come Soft Rains' is a masterpiece, such a beautiful work that will surely stand the test of ti- What? I'm not crying. You're crying.

It takes a special kind of person to bite their tongue while eating. It takes an even more special one to bite the same place while talking. HINT: It's me. I'm that person.

Nearly fell asleep in my coffee earlier. I think that's enough irony for one day.

Today I had a crow hiss at me. I thought that hissing was something Cats and Snakes did, but apparently those beady-eye bastards are evolving and learning to mimic others' behaviour.

Soon to be the proud owner of a shiny new Dremel, and as a result likely no longer the owner of several fingers!

About Me

Hey hey, I'm Goh! 23/M/Australia with a soft spot for dystopian fiction and Lovecraftian horror. I've been RP-ing and writing for about 5 years now; I cut my teeth over on the Planet Minecraft forums but I've recently moved here.

Hobbies include cosplay, being a huge history/politics/philosophy nerd, and telling puns so bad they cause people actual physical pain.

If you want me onboard for an RP, want a collab or just want to chat, feel free to shoot me a message!

I might jump in and make another post to keep things moving in the meantime.

"Well at least you value your safety, however..." Koru trailed off as he flicked through his book. Hardwick watched the pages fly past at blinding speed - occasionally he could make out an odd symbol or lines of script in a foreign tongue. "... I do not believe I've heard or been to a place by the name of Dunwich." With a sigh, Koru returned to his original page and began rummaging through his bags before producing a beautifully hand-drawn and gold embellished map, written on the finest paper Hardwick had ever laid eyes on. "Could you perhaps point it out on this map for me?"

Hardwick looked carefully at the map. It was of a continent he didn't recognise, and the places were names he couldn't pronounce - Irish, maybe? 'Erm...' His fingers rapped on the bar, his expression belaying confusion. 'Just one second.' He wasted no time in tearing a blank page from his journal, scribbling furiously an incredibly rough map of Miskatonic County. 'Here...' He said as he scribbled a name on the map. '... Is Dunwich, and over here....' He drew a star on the map and scrawled a name above it. '... Is Sutton's Gorge, where I was before I found this place.'
I think @Whist may have been sucked out of a faulty airlock.
@ONL Definitely just his suspicions. He'd know that Lexington was stalling, but not for what purpose.
@ONL Yeah, a collab post might be best. Thanks!
@Sigurd I love Stranger Things! There's definitely a lot of Lovecraftian vibes going on in that show. I'm actually thinking about doing a Chief Hopper cosplay for a con this year or next.

@ONL Probably both killed by Nyarlathotep because they're too stubborn to admit defeat I'm looking forward to finding out! I'm going to write up a post for Argus over the next few days, so we'll see how it paid out from there. I'm still figuring out how Argus is going to get acquainted with the other characters but I'm assuming it will be via interviewing witnesses.

He's not a dick! He may have one, but the mere possession of an object doesn't automatically make him said object!

The cat-and-mouse dynamic between Lexington and Lichfield is shaping up to be really interesting.
That's fine dude, take as much time as you need :)
@Spoopy Scary I'm waiting on @Zugzwang to post again, but I can probably just jump in and get Daedalus to do some cool battle shit if everyone else is unsure what to post next.

Ahhh yes, I'm Koru Elerren, traveller and a chronicler of sorts" The man bowed his head slightly out of respect, and the pair shook hands. "Your question though has many answers and I'm sure it would differ depending on the individual in question. I for one am simply lost, as the trees in this area are quite vague with their directions"

Koru's attention briefly drifted to the front door. Hardwick glanced at the stranger sitting with them; her face impassive, but her gaze cold and probing. He felt a chill creep down his spine - he couldn't place it, but there was something wrong about her...

"Well Mr. Hardwick," Koru continued. "I've told you my story on how I came to this place; I would see it only fair you sell me yours."

'Well...' Hardwick began slowly. He wracked his mind for the particulars, the events of the past few days were a whiskey-muddled blur - although, perhaps that was for the best. '... I was in a bit of a jam. I was poking around in the business of some real nasty characters, and they caught onto me. Their whole cul- gang, their whole gang cornered me in a town just southwest of Dunwich. I ran down an alley and found a door, and the door... Well... It led me here.' He paused, unsure whether he should continue. 'To be honest, this tavern is the safest place I've been in years.'
