School and work do have their way with us and the associated crap we students deal can sometimes drive us insane. Sometimes we learn to basically find our niche and work different elements into our schedules while cutting the losses.

For this scene, I have something in mind to fully resolve the situation and move us along. I'll send you a PM collaborative post for a better clarification on concluding this conflict 8)
Yes, it's rather silent and I'll take some blame for not quite finishing my IC post. It's on the way, though so you won't have to wait long.

Curious though, how were your Halloweens everyone?
Retro-games always brought great titles to the world, even if the graphics and game engines were a bit crude. I still play them every now and then if I ever visit an arcade spot. Honestly, there aren't quite as many anymore given the growth of console and PC titles! Ah well ... classics will always be classics no matter how old they become.

On a side note, I just wanted to let you know that I am closing this story down due to certain personal issues anddddddddd …

I'm just kidding! Didn't want to scare y'all to death and I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! Drink up, enjoy your local spookfests, and don't party too hard!

Post will be up soon so enjoy the weekend and one of these mornings you'll wake up with a ginormous post/timeskip.

7achary, I think retro arcade quotes can impart great wisdom on your narcotics ingesting claims and to be specific, one comes to mind.

Everyone else, don't think I've forgotten about you! Just making updates on my progress and it's near completion. Just needs several tweaks and refined edges, that's all 8)
Ahhhh … sorry to hear about that 7achary; I know how it feels and its rough regardless of how well or shoddy you felt about the piece. The good news stems from the fact that we can learn to not repeat this horrible occurrence and my best advice involves using a word processor before posting. I've had several occassions where the browser closed and I could've lost several well written posts, but didn't because they were still backed up on my word processor; in fact, I actually almost lost my last post me accidently closing the browser inbetween closing other tabs. No problem, though; had my post backed up on a word document and afterwards, the fiasco just took another minute of copy and pasting. Practice the word processor protocol and you too can give upstart browsers the middle finger!

Edit:
In other, content related issues, I think that as long as you have a general idea regarding what you last wrote; you can probably write something even better. I don't know if your last post involving drugs and alcohol were serious or sarcasmic, but I would not recommend drug or alcohol abuse to escape what's already been done. Writer up, take what you remember, and make your other piece better! If you need to collaborate, don't hesitate to shoot me a message and we'll see if we can't cook up an even spicier storm ;)

7achary, did you just lose a post to RoleplayerGuild's shoddy maintenance issues?
@ 7achary - Gideon is approved!

@ Everyone else - Still working on that post so don't think I've forgotten about you! Skulls you can vouch for me, given that we've got an ongoing scene that is close to closure ;).
Whew ... excuse my absence; at work right now and I just wanted to say that the post is still in the works so I haven't been slacking. Expect a post this week!
I have no problems with another cavalry specialist and would be delighted if you included either Gideon or Derfel. I think either character would add a new perspective to the politics in and around Voltas, but you are free to insert material regarding the happenings within urban cities surrounding Voltas.

Regarding writing styles, I don't mind a first person view, so long as it's confined to journal entries, otherwise; for now, I'd like to request if you could keep everything in third person. I do appreciate the request though and in the future, there might be possibilities for further perspective explorations so first person posts are not entirely out of the picture!
