-Faction Name: The People’s March
-Faction Type: Insurgents
-Faction Main Base of Operation: The leading figures of People’s March and it's more militant supporters iare currently camped a few miles outside of Northport, Pleuria, however most of the foot soldiers and members are civilians living in the sums that make up and surround the city. The camp is a very basic set up of a few hidden tents and vehicles with a cache of supplies buried nearby.
-Faction Goals: The March want to replace the current government with a Communist Regime that will look to the need of the workers, over big business and bring Noravia into a new phase of proletariat prosperity. More goals may be developed as the faction develops however.
-Faction Composition: The People's March is made up of a fairly even mixture of male and female members, gender is not seen as something to be discriminatory over. Alongside this by becoming communist all members give up their religion and so anybody who held a place of religious power is either rejected or simply eliminated. Culturally the People's March almost entirely hail from Pleuria, however there is a smattering of other cultures due to the rise in people arriving looking for work.
-Initial Assets:
-Basic equipment, such as civilian radios and mass produced outdoors gear. Anything that could be bought publically. The radios are used with a code, but not on a encrypted channel.
-Around 650 'foot soldiers', these are members who, whilst not in the camp, are very supportive of the cause and prepare for the day the People's March Rises up. Next to none of them have any form of military training and even fewer have firearms. Most have worked in the oil refineries before however and so know how to run them.
-40 'Zealots, the die hard members who now live outside of Northport in the small camp. This includes The Party and Joseph Sullam. Most have no formal training with weopans but spend days practicing in the fields and mud. A small cache of Great War weopans has been collected in the camp and these men and women have taken their pick of this. The real reason they are so valuable though, is that almost all of the members are incredibly charismatic.
-A Great War cache of weopans. Around 50 Dragon Bolt Action rifles with a fair amount of ammo. On top of this a number of batches of homemade explosives have been produced.
-A number of civilian off-road vehicles have been made more spartan to allow them to carry larger numbers of people around. However none are fitted for battle.
-Contacts with other Trade Unions all across Noravia, many not as sympathetic as first hoped however.
-The People's March Workers Club is a fairly large building in Northport where the founding members of the union used to meet and drink. However it quickly became the base of operations for the group as they become more and more violent. Formerly a warehouse, until the camp was formed, it has a very basic shaft tunnel used for smuggling goods.
-Methods of Operation: The March currently doesn’t openly fight the government with violence. There have been demonstrations and protests that have become riots, but the leaders of the March had made sure to be away from these happenings. In truth the People's March is still 'officially' a Trade Union and as such only condone peaceful strikes, marches and protests. Most recent of which was the 'March of the Thousand' in which 1000 unemployed members of the public marched on the oil works, in protest of the lack of jobs despite promises made. It was a complete success and raised the profile of the People's March rapidly.
-Faction History: The People's March begun as a Trade Union based in the pubs of Northport. This was long before the discovery of oil however and so the average complaint was when a worker was not given the sick pay he had been assured. After the Great War many of the members brought back arms and mementos, these ended up in the People's March Workers Club. After the Great War the People's March took on a more and more radical view, especially after the discovery of oil. With such a huge influx of new workers the refineries and other workplaces couldn't hire them all. As such the People's March turned from exclusively accepting the employed to taking all who wanted social change. A more active role in society was taken and more and more marches were conducted. The People's March became openly communist after the 'Strike of Thorns'. What was meant to be a perfectly legal strike and march became a blood bath after a brief flurry of police brutality. During this the last leader of the People's March was arrested and died in jail, Joseph Sullam took over and swiftly brought with him other extremist members to the leadership. As such membership has dropped, but public support hasn't. All it would take is a sign that the People's March really is a force and Joseph Sullam would use that as a rallying call for more supporters.
-Faction Leadership:
-Joseph Sullam, the all seeing, charismatic chosen leader of the People's March. A former oil worker himself, he is fairly smart and an adept leader, but nothing special. His true strength is in his cunning and political maneuverings. He wrestled power from less extreme candidates and has twisted the People's March into something it was never intended to be.
-Maria Truskov, Sullam's second in command and his main agent within the Party. She is slightly younger than he is but has been working on the refineries longer than Sullam. She also runs the ring of spies and informants the People's March has cultivated.
-Trevor Sullam, Joseph's older brother. He is the more intelligent of the brothers, but much less ambitious. He is very useful in leadership but is almost always pushed into it.
-Yuri, a former Secret Police informant, Yuri turned after he was supposed to be spying on the March. He now trains the 40 zealots who live outside the city as well as organises the security of the March, running the group own secret police.
-Thomas Yacob, a former head of a trade union who is now the voice of the revolution within Northport. He is hurried around so as to keep him from being arrested or eliminated. He has two die hard supporting body guards, both called Trevor.
-Faction Eyes: The People’s March has member spies within almost every union in Northport, as well as the major ones across the country. Alongside this there are a number of sympathisers in the establishment who hand down information they hear, secretaries and office workers who are scorned by their employers are the largest group of these. Finally the People's March has a small select group, around 5 members, who act as a secret police, trained by Yuri himself. They act directly on Yuri, or Joseph Sullam's orders, killing rivals off and eliminating other pillars of the community so that the People's March is the only viable group to join and support.
