Lin knitted his eyebrows. He certainly did not expect everything to explode into riots and whatnot like this.

Lin surely blamed himself, in other one of his fits of extreme self importance.

Shikio's words and then sudden actions brought him back to reality. Truthfully, he felt a bit ashamed to have his familiar help him like this.

After going through the window and landing safely on the floor, Lin was quick to scramble out of Shikio's arms and dust himself off.

"T-Thanks about that, Shikio. But don't do unnecessary things. I had everything under control." Lin shook his head.

"You know what? I'm pissed. Let's go get you fixed up and then go to the cafeteria. I'll buy you those steaks and maybe eat something myself." Lin said, scratching the back of his head.

"I can also tell you about the Magus Games and the Heir Of Baphel... not that we want this getting out of hand. The power that old guy is offering might just be what I need."

Afterwards, he turned on his heel and started walking towards the infirmary. Or to whoever could help treat the small wounds Shikio had gotten on herself after that dashing rescue.

Certainly, he had never been so ashamed before in his life. Being carried like a princess by his familiar was most definitely humilliating, even more so was escaping in the face of a fight.

The riot that had formed and then was appeased by the teacher certainly surprised both Charlotte and Juliann.

The girl for one, had stars in her eyes after that demonstration from their teacher. He was certainly impressive, and young too.

Juliann too was impressed by this man. He seemed like a definitely powerful warrior. When the cheeky student and teacher thought it was their place to berate the teacher after the impressive feat.

Juliann was confident that she too would be able to appease the students, but it would probably involve a missing limb or two.

"Please, mister Kane, if you think that the fighting would've stopped so easily, you are more naive than I thought you were. You still haven't seen a thing of what the Eye is capable of." The woman closed her eyes as she spoke, before turning her eyes to Richard. "And it is his decision whether he wants to poison himself or not, kid. It doesn't take from his prowess as a warrior, and I don't see how it is any of your business to butt into your professor's affairs."

The woman scolded Richard. She did not expect students to be this unruly, and rude to their teachers.

Juliann would certainly need to crack on these unruly students before things got out of control.

Charlotte was completely at a loss. All of these terms being thrown around so loosely as if it were commong knowledge for everyone... She felt dumb only thinking about how she should know of these things but still had no idea what the others were talking about.

Charlotte asked the spirit inside her.

With a mental shrug that could only be seen by Charlotte, Belphegor answered, "Dunno, don't care. You shouldn't either. Get a seat and wait for these Magus or whatever games to take place. I will get you all the points you need."

"You know I don't want that! I want not to be this confused over things! Who should we ask?"

"You could ask one of the teachers. Then again, they could go derp like that other dude from before."

"Eh, but I don't want people to get hurt..." She started scanning the room with her eyes until she found a person that looked like they were knowledgeable enough to answer the questions she had.

Her roommates were a no-no, since she, well, Balphegor, managed to piss off one of them big time.

Then... there was a girl leaving the room. Yeah... she seemed good! Intelligent, even!

Charlotte ran towards her and grabbed onto her sleeve.

"Excuuuuse me!" The girl shouted to get Meruin's attention. "Where are you going? Do you mind if I go with you? I'm just kind of really, reaaaaally confused with all that just happened."

Even as she asked her, she was already readily following after her.

But would you look at that. They actually had some beer!

Jun took the beer with a small grin in his face, despite it being Schwarz, and took a sip out of it before turning to Ellie with a smile.

"Then I shall partake. You got to let me know when you've events like these. The mood here is better than any other run-down bar." Jun said with a happy look in his face.

After the devil blew a kiss over to Jun, though, a deep, deep blush appeared in his face.

She left for the next costumer and Jun sinked his lips into the dark of the beer.

"R-Relax, me. It is just normal flirty behavior for any one costumer of the night. Urgh." The boy's lips siunk deeper into the dark liquid.

To get his head off of that, he started seeing his fellow Chasers that were in the cafe as well.

There were Katherine and Lucille, both of them older than himself but Katherine being way nearer his age. Lucille definitely creeped her out some. Vampire or not, the fact that she did not age definitely gave him the creeps. Then again, with Youkai and whatnot running rampant, a vampire should be the least of his worries.

Speaking of never aging freaks, there was also Rui-Ling. No comment about him, really. Mainly because he thought it a bad idea to mess with a 100 something guy.

Luciel seemed smarter than your run-of-the-mill guy, but Jun had never gotten into detail to talk with him. He also found his French accent kind of funny.

As for Kazuki, well, he seemed a brute, more or less. Jun actively avoided the guy.

There was also a girl with purple hair carrying a teddy bear.... Jun decided to make some small talk with her later. She seemed somewhat dumb. Someone he could brag about his (not) vastly superior intellect. Perhaps also help her around some, since she seemed kind of lost. Not that he would mention that.

Afterwards, Aria arrived and told all of them about their mission. Or well, the main mission.

Jun was not entirely interested in that, to be honest. While the Cataloger was indeed picking a fight with the Chasers, Jun certainly felt that it was with every other Chaser but himself. Why you ask? Because he did not have a particular treasure he could lose.

Jun would go to the Cataloguer if his presence was required, but if not, then he'd await for another mission. There should be others, if they gathered this many Chasers.

He was also fairly certain that his presence would not be required. There were countless other people more skilled than himself in duels, and Jun himself relied more on plans and traps rather than a straight on fight against the youkais, or the Cataloguer in this case.

Ellie then stepped up and started explaining every other mission that needed the Chasers' attention. The first one definitely caught Jun's attention.

He stood up and walked over to where Ellie was, alongside Rui, whom he acknowledged with a slight movement of his head.

"Well, if no one will drag me somewhere else, I'll take the detective work. You said Amagumi Park, right?"

Jun said, trying to seem as indifferent as he could.

BTW, do you read/watch Fairy Tail? Cause Sabrina reminds me a bit too much of Aquarius xD

In any case, I do think there's a good balance. I do have to ask, though, how many of her familiars can she use at the same time?

R-By nodded upon the Ethereal's opinion of bringing his own army forth. The alien was right that they would be more useful at a later day, keeping them out of the enemy's knowledge, if this man was one, would also benefit them greatly.

Afterwards, the alien decided to take an early leave and leave the rest on R-By's hands.

"I understand, Ethereal." The demihuman mesh bowed down as the Ethereal left him and the Magician to their own devises.

R-By turned yet again, his glare somewhat intense. The Ethereal served to mitigate his human instincts, but with the alien gone, the glare in his eye could no longer be hidden.

However, he was quick to take a deep breath and relax again, his eye turning calm again. His glares were a little bit of what was left of him as a human.

"Forgive me, that was a short impulse. It shall not happen again. Certainly, my own personal impression of you is that of a... somewhat trustworthy teenager. However, I used to be an Illusionist, before coming here. It was my specialty to lie and deceive the eye and perceptions. As such, I have a similar take on everyone who is a human. I take it that they too are liars and deceivers, as I used to be not long ago."

He extended both hands to his sides, as if to make himself a target.

"My judgement deems that I shall not trust you unless you give me a proof of you power, human Magician. If you seek to get into the Dark Outliners, then do go ahead and attack me with all the might you can muster. Even if I end up dead, you can consider it your win." R-By said.

He just hoped that Nathaniel would not hesitate about it, however, judging from what he had seen before, that would most definitely not be a problem.
