Current @Spirit me too friend, me too. @Rin, oh, so you meant that..... that would certainly be great. If FGO does gather enough people, it'd be great to play the novels again

@Rin Are we just not counting FGO USA? Or do you mean like a full release of all the content on the Japanese version? lol

@GrafRoy Zeppeli Well now I'm just curious as to how you thought allowing someone with that power was a good idea. And then I'll point to the discussion that needed to be had yesterday for, "It can be handled."

Trump card and plot armor for you guys xD

Better have an OP oni on your side and not need it, than need an OP oni on your side and not have it.
@Iatos
It said limitless in the same sentence that it said that his physical form would explode into gorey bits if he did go limitless mode. So...uh...yeah, he dies when he goes over 9000. Yay.

That being said, that whole thing about 'selecting the headmaster as his opponent in every fight' is probably something that could be done, but he doesn't do that, because Arata wants to have a fun, hard-fought fight. It's a self-inflicted curse for a reason.

Of course, there's people who ignore personality in favor of winning, but I generally try to avoid doing that.

@GrafRoy Zeppeli
But if this non-destructive magic is something that effects him or his presence or whatever...why wouldn't he be able to resist it? Still not really understanding what you're getting at here, so clarification might be needed on this subject matter after all. I've never read or watched Trinity Seven, but a quick scan from the wiki showed that the Arata over there can only dispel the magic of those that are magically weaker than him in exchange for being able to dispel literally everything, while Legendary Resistance only works against non-damaging effects, in exchange for allowing him to ignore such effects without having any magical knowledge of his own.

So yeah, could you elaborate on which situations regarding non-destructive magical effects would bypass Legendary Resistance?

Say this.

He can and will shrug off things that are not meant to destroy him. That much is cool with me. Can't be destroyed unless the magic is meant to do exactly that.

Telporting him elsewhere doesn't work either, okay, I get that. However, what happens when your entire existance is erased from times?

Liselotte Sherlock is able to use this kind of magic in Trinity Seven, at the cost of being locked away in time herself. Her whole presence and being is transported there. Edgar's is slightly different, though, as you can see from Vocab's explanations.

What I mean to say is that the Arata of Trinity Seven can too dispel anything thrown his way, though he does need to shoot it at the very least, yet finds himself trapped in this sudden time lock. Because you are being transported outside the axis of time, an imaginary concept created by humans. Arata may not understand this, but I guess that he would indeed be affected (correct me if I'm wrong)

Then, another kind of non destructive magic that I think would work against him is putting him inside a pocket dimension, or a reality marble. Doing something like such is not destructive and will simply transport him elsewhere. If the portal to these were open and someone were to push him inside, would he be able to resist that too?

In any case, there are some questions better asked when they pop up IC-ly, so let's wait and drop the subject for now.
@Ashifili If someone was to put an unstoppable ogre in a time-lock, despite how resistant he is to magic or similar methods, ddo you think not he would be inevitably stopped?

If you watched Trinity Seven, think that Quantus locks Arata(lol, even teh name is the same) out of time. Would he be able to resist that?

What Vocab said xD
It's Liseranna's nurses we are talking about. He can go do what he pleases xD
Hello, I'm back, and let me illuminate you in regards to this.

Most if not all students here (as far as I can see it) are of relatively average physical strength.

In all honesty, I think most people in here could also win against Arata cause, let's be honest, I doubt he is the brightest.

Arata's curse only takes into account two factors. Physical strength and magical prowess. This completely rules out intelligence, tactic skills and so on.

A brute with extreme force is dangerous, yes, but an intelligent and resourceful man is even more so. Using magic against Arata might be a bad idea due to his properties, but that means as long as it is not a purely destructive one. What ahppens when someone like Lin, who is average in strength but trained in martial arts, goes on to hit Arata with his Naturalis magic enhanced with steel? I'm plenty sure Arata would be damaged.

Also, other types of magic can also be bad for Arata. Let's say he gets trapped in Quantus' time magic. Only his willforce will be able to get him out of there, and that won't work unless we GM's approve of it.

All in all, Arata went through various revisions and I discussed it with Anubis a while. The finished product is someone that can go on par with most students, though I'm plenty sure the teachers could handle him with little to no problem.

So, yes, we deemed this Arata to be nerfed enough and is which why we accepted him, just to make matters clear.
@PlatinumSkink Har, the magical girl Yuniko knew and with whom she shared some fights with is actually an NPC. No face, no name (yet) and you can guess it is mild importance right now. She is open for pre-existing relationships, though.

Yuniko will love anyone, anyone that gives her candy. Easy to lure in, but hey, it's your ass on the line if she goes full magical girl on you xD

She'll be in Poland with her father for a business travel of his. The best I could come up with, I know xD

My main focus when making Yuniko was someone that could support and heal from the sidelines, actually.

And about Vic, her wish was only to be powerful. She is still young so she didn't really have in mind what she really meant for powerful. In other words, she was kind of an idiot when making her wish xD Her threads of fate is big because the dice gods wished it to be that way, well, best explanation I can come up with is that since the wish itself was to 'become powerful', well, she did just that. I also think spatial manipulation is powerful as fuck.

@Iatos

"Right, right, DESTROY my courtyard! It is not YOUR mana that is being wasted, after all. A crater here, a crater there, what difference does it make if you don't have to fix them? I was also caring for some cute little flowers in that same spot you fell on, just to let you know. When I get that spot fixed, YOU will be the one watering them, just let me tell you."

Question: Would Arata be assigned to a dorm prior to arriving? Or is he going to receive that information futurely?

And would he have been told about the Magus Games and the Erasers? Dude's been out of the loop for a couple of centuries and all.

You'll be assigned a dorm in the near future. Perhaps with Adrian the mothman since we haven't seen Avanhelsing for a while.

And yes, he would've been told of all of this.
Einri - At Edenweiss

He who hath arrived to the city by mere accident, after losing his head a town or two back.

Some scared girl was the first to find the disembodied head and, luckily, she told the adults. Some less scaredy woman picked him up and brought him back to the local inn.

His body later came in to find him so it was all fine and good. Or at least it seemed like it.

Attaching his head back to his body as if it were a lightbulb, the dullahan walked out into the streets and stretched out.

He was wearing a long, black coat, with only one button well, buttoned, at the front, a white shirt unbottoned at the top, a pair of black pants and a pair of shoes. He also wore a scarf to hide the intersection between his neck and head.

His weapon was resting at his back and his more monster-like arm was covered by the sleeves of his coat.

"Ugh. That was awful, dumbass." The dullahan complained to his body. Seemingly, he had left Edbert in the nearby stables. "You don't KNOW what I had to go through. I went down a hill, my mouth was filled with leaves, then I fell to a river and felt like I was going to die. A dog then came by and took me with him all the way here.... he was pretty sweet too, so I guess not everything was SO bad. But if you lose me again, I-!"

His self berating was interrupted by the sudden screams coming from Viola street.

He raised an eyebrow at first, confused as to what may be happening. When he realized that the panic could actually be because of the blackened beast that had started to become common place around here, he hurried to the scene, taking the scythe into his hand.

When he arrived, he saw a man already training his weapon on one of the beasts, however, there was also a woman in the range of his weapon.

Einri gasped at the sight of this. The man shot, so Einri hurried over to the woman.

Thankfully, the blade of his weapon was able to stop the incoming pellets, at least the second wave of them.

He did not waste half a second when he had already turned sideways to the woman and stabbed the blackened creature right through its snout.

"It's all right now. Go look for refuge!" The dullahan ordered the woman as he lifted the black creature still stuck on his weapon. "Now!"

The woman nodded, still frightened as to what had happened, and then stood up as fast as she could and then ran away. She was leaving an slight trail of blood, but Einri could only heal her afterwards.

He turned a slight glare to Llewelyn, but even he knew that probably shooting her would be the lesser of two evils. He was also probably an ally, and he couldn't afford losing one with how things were looking.

"I guess it is no time for introductions, huh?" The dullahan said, before spinning his scythe and hurling the Blackened beast away from its blade. "Worry not, for Einri, Knight Of Souls has arrived to aid you!"

The man said, before putting his weapon forward. He was too discovered, though.

That thought made Einri's head tilt a bit to the right. Fearing it would fall off, the dullahan was quick to put his hand on top of his head to keep it in place.

An incoming Blackened to his left made him turn to him a little too fast, making his head fall off.

"Yeowch! Hey, dumbass, you dropped me again!"

Heeding his head not, Einri's body striked the Blackened beast with the pool of the scythe and then spun it around in his hand, until he brought the blade down on its head. He retrieved the weapon and then hit the beast as if his scythe was a golf club.

He turned again to his head and picked it up, before fitting it in place again.

"Ugh, embarrassing."
@Snagglepuss89 Would you mind terribly if I stopped the shotgun's pellets with Einri's scythe? And would that work too?
