Answering without thing Billy replied "Well actually...Wait....OOOFF" Billy felt himself catapulted through the air as a sudden force hit him hard in the side and ribs, he landed roughly against the far wall and took a few seconds to get his bearings before getting up. He was just so used to being the one doing the surprising, that being on the receiving end of an unexpected dropkick had kind of knocked him off his feet. But he stood up, dusted himself off and drew his sword.
Billy looked his opponent up and down for the first time, facing each other as they were. There was definitely something vaguely reminiscent of Lewis Carrol in his appearance "Though I suppose I cannot help but go among mad people" the purple coloring, the wide smile, the eyes as large as houses and feline-esque, yeah, definitely like Billy just stepped through a looking-glass.
As the strange creature wielded the kitchen knife in his hand, Billy smiled, drawing his sword and his mind harkening back to the stories of audacious pirates and noble heroes outside the law, fighting and subduing great monsters, he adopted a stance.
"I guess we fight now right?"
"Unless you're too much of a scaredy-cat" Billy taunted
