Current Memes aside, pineapples on pizza is ok actually. Being shat on for liking things different from other people gets old after a while.

Oh shit a Gundam rp. Still accepting people?
Ettamri Belarence

She wondered if it was bad or good that she did not feel nausea anymore when seeing scenes like this.

Blood, gore and death seemed to have become the norm. When she had left all that time ago from her home, and during her first arrival, this would have sickened her. But now, she felt nothing. Nothing at the sight of them, just another-

"Feast for the eyes... maybe for you too."

Ignoring the voice, Ettamri inhaled and went over the scene again. The wagon was a charred mess, and the cargo was flung everywhere with bits burnt off. The corpses were not burned or eaten, and nothing seemed to have been pillaged from it all, save for the horses.

Then from what she understood of the scene, the wagon was first exploded, whether through a spell or some other sort of explosive she did not know, and the contents was flung out. Just before the explosion, or during the brief moment of confusion after, some of them were quickly taken out with a knife in their throats, before the others were swiftly overwhelmed. A planned ambush? She could not imagine it to be anything less than an ambush considering the lack of collateral from what seemed to be their mage pair. They could have been impaired for some reason, or had less destructive spells, but the cuts on the neck of some, seemed to indicate either a person of prodigious skills in the blade, or a swift moving assassin.

Not animals, mindless undead, or bandits, but an organized force capable of overwhelming steel tagged soldiers. Seeing how far they were already towards the fort, and what she had fought there last time, these could be an orc attack.

Then again, it was all speculation from what she understands. It could just as well be a bandit attack that was scared away from their loot by something else. It would serve no purpose to reveal this to the others and potentially panicking them with what could be her wrong conclusions.

"Hmph. Unfortunate, maybe we should..."

"...bury them? Bring back their possessions for their loved ones? Do you think they would do the same for you?" The red child swung her feet nonchalantly on the burnt wagon, an infuriatingly smug expression on her face. "You know they would have left you for dead, then run off with everything you have. You, know, this."

She wanted to hit the child, break its bones, throw it over the mountain where it would bother her no longer, but it did not exist. It was but a figment of her own mind, her own demon, torturer, accursed reminder of her sin. But she cannot deny its words. It hit her like an arrow through her heart, a wrenching pain that came with a feeling of loneliness.

"We should gather what we can use from them, and have the priest do their last rites lest they join the ranks of the undead."

Nodding to herself, she gave the wagon another look over before being satisfied with its conditions. If the axle broke...

"The wagon is relatively unscathed. Oscar, once you finish, you drive the wagon forwards on the planned path and meet us where the caravan was. The rest should prepare to move as well. Get on the wagon if you're too weak to walk, knight."

With that, she moved after Siwon, going to the site of the supposed ransacked caravan. Ettamri was fairly sure there would be no survivor, if what the ranger said was true. Either they too was ambushed by frenetic apes, or they suffered a catastrophic mishap along the way. Perhaps they would at least find something useable in the wreckage.

"Or some preserved humans. They're better fresh, but these will do as well."

She ignored the red child, ignored her mocking laughter as she made her way to the site with Siwon.

Exhaling, she relaxed her posture, looking around the scene.

"Alright. Well done. Is anyone injured?"

She hefted the club over her shoulders as she gazed out towards the dead beasts. Odd creatures these were, smart enough to try an ambush too. But this at least means they might be getting closer to the springs.

"Ranger, what was your name again? Oscar? Thank you for the help. Now.." She gestured to the largest two apes that had assailed them. "Can you butcher the best part of meat from these animals? Waste none of them. It would be a pity to leave all these behind. See if you can't make use of their skin as well."

Trusting the others to check on the rest, she turned to inspect the wagon. They would move as soon as they have finished up everything here, she had decided.

Two defeated, and she collapsed on her knees, gasping for breath.

What happened just now, was far beyond anything she had experienced up until now. But even more so was the hunger, focused on the corpses she felled. Two of them, and with the others preoccupied at the moment.

She snapped to her senses just as she found herself already slipping her mask up slightly, and taking a large bite out of one of the creatures' still warm heart. Far from offending her refined palate, the raw taste of blood, fat and muscle invigorated her, tasting as if it was the finest food prepared by her family's best cooks. Angry, annoyed, and thoroughly disgusted with herself, she nonetheless finished it with gusto, and ripped out the heart from the other with her bare hand, the flesh, muscles and bones posing barely a hindrance to her strength. She hated it, but she knew she needed her strength, and with just a small portion of her face revealed, she was sure she could get away with it even if anyone stole a glance at her right now.

Each bite she took seemed to fill her body with more and more energy, so what if, just for a moment, she took one of those bodies and...

"Delicious isn't it?" The smug knowing expression on the red child sitting a few paces away was infuriating, but one she cannot fight right now. Ettamri was the one eating a still warm heart from a slain foe after all. "Tough, and chewy. Did you know? A human heart is much more tender, soft but still chewy. You deserve more than this, you know? I'm quite sure with a show of strength, you can bring some of those savage tribes here together, and rule over them."

With an angry grunt, Ettamri kicked some snow at the child, who simply disappeared, her laughter ringing in her ears. She had wasted enough time; the others were still fighting, and they will need help with these monsters.

Turning towards where Katya and Siwon was fighting, she grabbed one of the trunks the aboms had been pummeling her with before, and threw it like a lance towards the monster they were fighting. Without missing a beat, she grabbed her club and moved towards them, weapon at the ready.
Still very fast Ape
@Th3King0fChaos

Having taken the shield away from the stalwart warrior, the ape was already howling in victory, not even flinching as the warrior kicked the spear through it. With how fast it was however, the feint upon it did work, but it managed to clip him on the side with a glancing punch. Had it not been for his armor, he would have felt it much much more.

Roaring with surety in its dominance now, it flailed its arms like a whip towards the man, clutching the shield like a makeshift weapon. From how strong the blow was even from a glancing strike, it was suicide to simply take the blows.

A satisfying crunch, and her heart skipped a beat, a grin inevitably stretching across her visage, thankfully hidden under her helm.

It would be very clear, whether she wanted to or not, that she enjoyed the feeling of fighting, of the sound of the thing's head crunching under her blows. It was enough to lull her for a moment, before the thing launched a flurry of blows upon her. Her left arm, caught in the wrong angle, broke, as the blows snapped several of her ribs in.

But...

She still stood, her right catching one of its punches, before her left unsnapped itself and caught the other. Sucking in some air as soon as her ribs started repairing itself, she leveraged all her strength, pulling down hard as she headbutted the thing.

Without a doubt, the action caught her off guard, and had it been anyone else, they would have been sent flying from the sheer force of the attack.

But this was not 'anyone else', she was Ettamri Belarence, boasting of might beyond human, one who had forced open the portculis of the fortress. Almost as soon as she could react, she locked down her joints, taking the brunt of the kick squarely upon her body, yielding not one inch of ground to the blow. Her hands dropped from the iron club, and with surprising speed, grabbed instead the leg of the ape before it could recover.

"__________!!"

With a meaningless roar, she swung the ape at its partner, wild, powerful swings meant as much as to disorient the ape as it was to destroy the other. The air was growing electric around her as she focused her fury on the beast.
The Fastest Ape in the area
@Th3King0fChaos

A scream of anger as the ape flailed its arms about, showering the steadfast warrior with blow upon blow, frustrated at the small thing's resilience.

Unable to get past the warrior's defense, it jumped at the warrior as he too struck, lodging the spear much lower in the ape's torso. With renewed zeal, the ape instantly pulled closer, the spear coming out the back. It was not a fruitless effort by the primate however, for it was now close enough to grab the shield with one hand, while its other arm moved to hammer down a crushing blow on the warrior's head. With the shield grabbed by the much stronger foe, and the spear lodged inside the beast, Argen would be hard pressed to use both those armaments against the ape without first extricating them from it.

"Oh? Two just for me?" The club resting on her shoulders swung around quickly in a short arc, as she stepped to the side, crashing her weapon towards one of their wooden tree clubs, while moving to put the other one between the second monster. They seemed well coordinated, as the clubs crashed on her again and again, whilst she met those blows with her own every time. Considering how large they were, the size of their weapons, as well as how they were using them, while she met with a continuous flurry of blows, they could not both attack at once without risking hitting each other. "HOW GRACIOUS!"

Her blood was boiling, her heart like drums in her ears. In the midst of it all...

"Now listen close, yeah?" The old scarred man in plain chainmai and a dusty tabard spat onto the ground. "You can be strong as you like, but when it comes to fighting superior numbers, you gotta know how to cut and run. Honors no good if you're dead. Course, that means you can gang up on a strong enemy and beat them down that way, but that's not what I'm gonna teach ya today."

Two of her house guards stepped forwards, hefting their wooden training swords.

"Today, I'm gonna teach you what you can do when theres a load of people out for your guts, and you aren't, for any reason, able to skeddadle."

***

Ettamri gripped both hands on her weapon, smashing a blow against one of the monster's own again. In that brief opening, she inhaled as she stepped forth, bringing forth all her strength into a wide sweeping blow towards its side.
