Current Memes aside, pineapples on pizza is ok actually. Being shat on for liking things different from other people gets old after a while.

Erika Sid

A post at a military outfit huh?

Strange, and kind of weird, she would say. Last she checked those uptight, multiple sticks in arse sort of types won't really have anything to do with her kind. Erika, of course, provided practical solutions to problems. Not philosophical kinds, but the kind that she solves with a high speed projectile to the face when paid well. A mercenary working for the highest bidder.

And because they were paying so well, she was here sneering at the handler in room B204. Her chair creaked precariously as she balanced on two legs, rocking slightly back and forth in boredom. Maybe she shouldn't have gone so early, but she was very very curious about the entire affair. Plus, getting to look at some military armaments wouldn't be so bad.

“A-Armored Captain Holdt, present and ready to serve. Sir!”

"Hah? This limp dicked boy is going to be my partner?"

He looked like he was about to soil his pants, even though he was about as tall as she was. Well, taller and broader. She wasn't really tall as it was she had longer legs.

hoi there. am gonna be lancer.
Judea

"Hmm... witchy?" Judea smiled a little at that, pulling Sloane a bit further away from the others. "It certainly has the same feeling as magic doesn't it? It could be some sort of old curse, especially considering where we are, but I don't have a definite idea yet of what it is."

Judea was stripping off her clothing while she spoke, working on her pouch, then her combat vest.

"Sloane. This place might be more dangerous than any one of us can imagine, so I'm going to ask you if you are willing to... to do anything it takes to survive, even some questionable acts."

Smiling gently, she put a hand on Sloane's head reassuringly. "I won't ask you to do anything you don't want to do. Say no, and I'll never bring this up again. You don't have to answer now. Think about it for a while. I'm going to look in the ruins and see what I find."

With that, Judea turned into a capybara, and swam into the middle of the flooded part of the ruins. This wasn't a situation she would have wanted for her partner; not after all the hard work they have done. She had no idea how dangerous it would be, so if it really gets bad, then she might have to resort to... drastic measures. Hopefully it won't come to that, but if it did, at least she would know whether Sloane would be averse or not to those sort of acts.

Speaking of which, she could probably set in one of these underwater ruins. It wasn't at all the height of magic to simple make a barrier to keep water out. With luck, she might even find one that has a clear access to a roof that wasn't underwater.
Eska

She bit into a piece of smoked meat, eating with gusto as she did her business, reinforcing the tree, and remaking new arrows from the seeds it sprouted, as well as taking more seeds in a pouch.

Jiko was far away, but she was still alive. Eska couldn't imagine what sort of horrible things they might do to her. With how these people treated her kind, she had no doubt Jiko was suffering a far more worse fate than if she was just killed. It felt like her heart was clenching around itself, that tight feeling of regret, fear and anger at herself. If only she did not leave. If only she was the one who stayed. Every moment she was without her only companion, with every tear that fell, her heart hardened, slowly convincing herself they were base barbarians, and not worth compassion or regret.

Stepping back from her work, she looked up again towards the massive boughs of the tree, satisfied that the dead of this town will feed it, and its offsprings.

Eska didn't even touch the assorted collection of coins she found on all the bodies and inside the houses, nor did she even bother with the weapons and material goods. The only thing she took was a few rolls of parchment that seemed to be maps, confirmed by her scouting the landmarks around the area and looking at the parchments again. Eska was not interested in trade or even negotiations with whoever bought Jiko. Someone as despicable as that only deserved death.

Remembering what Coln told her, she moved quickly to the south, achieving a bounding pace typical of a persistence hunter.

Though she was free, and bounding on the path through an open field, the silence of being alone was crushing, a constricting cage around her heart.
Judea

They arrived in good order with no real trouble along the way. The ghost girl had taken to exploring around, so that was their reconnaissance for today. It was a good camp site, but... it could use a bit more work if it was to function as their main base of operations. An attack right now would catch them in the open. The submerged area did please her however.

"Ah, perfect."

Leaving the sheep in the hands of her capable partner, Judea started checking out the submerged area, looking rather pleased by all the water flowing around.

"Ah, right. We're going to need supplies as well as more information. I am going to stay here and clean the camp up little." Judea turned to the rest of the group. "Another group should go look for supplies, and the others for information and whatever else they can find."
Samantha Brisinggart

Perhaps if the mobile suits could match the Swansong's speed, or even had grenade launchers instead of throwing it manually, things could had gone differently. But with that and all the debris she was leaving behind, the grenades did barely anything save for making her swerve right and left even more erratically, the grenades too slow to be able to catch her in its effective range.

She has found what she was looking for however. A sudden burst of air from a cut open hole, indicating it was a maintenance access port, which also doubles as an emergency escape tunnel in the event of a catastrophic failure of the colony. There was no way to effectively evacuate the huge amount of people in such events with just the few ports they currently have open after all.

"Gotcha!"

Swerving around, she slammed right into two bits of the colony wall, the gun on the nose of her craft powering up as she doubled back, firing spikes towards the pursuing mobile suits.
