Snow Falling Upon the Sleeping
After having spend time "hanging out" with Isa, Daniel noticed it was beginning to get late. he looked through the windows to the Hermes cabin and saw that it was in fact getting dark, and there were even clouds rolling in.
"I wonder if it'll snow tonight..." Daniel thought loudly to himself. He never found much point in keeping his thoughts to himself, as few would recall what it was he said anyways. "If it snows I better make sure I dress heavy outside." He looked down on himself to check his jacket, it was black, as every other jacket he had, but this one was better insulated, it wouldn't help in a blizzard, but it was enough if he stayed in range of something warm or kept himself moving.
After looking around to see if there was a place to put his things besides the floor. . . no luck. It seemed there simply was no where for him to put his suitcase, much less sleep. Daniel hoped he'd find a better place to sleep, but for the time being he simple put his suitcase over his shoulder and proceeded to head outside.
Letting out a breathy sigh Daniel was amused when he saw his breath appear as a cloud of white. "Nothing quite like a good chill in the air," Daniel declared loudly as he stretched his arms out wide and puffing out his chest. As he soon noticed snow begin to fall, Daniel felt good about his situation, despite how odd it sounded on paper. He actually had powers, a god was his parent, he was sent to a camp with other kids with powers... "okaaay, that's weird,"... Daniel commented out loud after that train of thought. "Um, I have met several other campers including an borderline giddy older camper and I just made friends with a girl with a course tone... oh dear god."
Daniel stopped talking out loud after that last statement. He looked around and tried to not marvel for a moment, and simple look at everything through the eyes of someone with a few too many tv shows under their belt. "Superpowers, training camp, what are effectively dorms, oh... OOOH," Daniel went, holding his head and slowly putting his hood up,"Welp, it's official, I'm living in an anime." Daniel couldn't believe he even could think that, much less accept it. The problem was that, considering the absurdity he already had accepted, this wasn't that much further a leap.
"Keep an eye out for traps," he thought to himself,"that's not something I want to have to live through." After making his official declaration he looked around the area in front of Hermes cabin and saw a group of other campers walking towards the cabin, and in the lead was a certain eye-patched "sempai". He walked out of the shadow he somehow found himself in and walked over towards,"Was it Aiden," Daniel quickly thought to himself and pulling out his notes,"Yup, Aiden, right there next to eye-patch and time guy."
With that confirmed Daniel proceeded over to Aiden to join his little group. That, and maybe find a better place to sleep.
"Huh. Well, since I am not looking forward to standing out while it snows on us, and it seems about time to eat. Why don't we head over to the dining pavilion and get some food? Offer from earlier about sleeping arrangements still stands." Aiden finished saying as Daniel approached.
"Mind if I hop along with you guy?" Daniel said as he closed the distance further. "Hey, again Aiden," Daniel continued, adding a small chuckle,"they should start paying you if you keep doing tours like this."
