Bio

So... I'm a writer... A gamer and an anime nerd... Uh... I love fantasy ans Sci-fi. And I have a weakness for romance. I'm also gay.... My best friend and I joke around and say that I caught the ghey. My best friend is also a trash talking dwarf. No lie. He's 4'9 has longer hair than most women and a beard. Anyways.... I ramble about stuff often... I'm pretty socially awkward but get me on a topic I like and I'll talk for days....

Peace,

Sorry for the poof. Work has been extremely rough for me recently, pulling in two six day work weeks followed by a seven day stretch. Pretty mentally exhausted.
Zavid

Zavid followed the rest into the conference room. With little more than a soft grunt as he sit in the chair, he was silemt, just monitoring the people and studying the map given, making his own copy study in front of him using one of his tech implamts. His eyes radiated a soft dark glow, a side effect of the implant that he was used to. But to others, it would be quite unnerving to see something this creepy.

As Malkovich went on Zavid made little notes on the planet, marking rivers and forests. He paused when the newest members arrived. He was unfamiliar with the species, but generally uninterested for the moment, noting that this Pisq was rather... Childish.

What riled David was Oneyka's rather abrasive comment. After hearing Harriet reply he spoke up. "I happen to not be a 'grunt'. Don't even think about calling me that, I'd be happy to share my extensive list of confirmed kills with you." David prided himself in being one of the best. The whole point of Zavid being here was to provide the necessary force should things go wrong. Being what he was, Zavid was often misjudged as a brute, but he was one of the smartest of his kind, a feat that all Primus shared, which was why most of the beserk ones absolutely had to be put down. Horror stories rippled out through the military at how some of them had snapped, killing thousands before being put down, usually with a lot bullets and missile launchers, most of them having met their end by the giant human sitting rather stoicly, not even looking at anyone other than the mini hologram planet he was marking.
...I haven't played that game yet...But I'm pickin up what you're putting down, friend.
Chrys stayed rather silent. He was focused inward, half meditating/half sensing the world around him. With the proximity of the three travelers, he could feel that his own powers were starting to adapt to lessen the strain. Experimentally, he used small fields around their boots or near them as they sat, and found that they bent outward from them. The space they took up distorted everything around them, but unless you could sense it, you'd never tell.

With this revelation, Chrys decided to dive deeper into himself, finding that he could enter that strange space in his head again. On the outside, Chrys subtly emitted grey light and a near inaudible hum.

In his mind he walked over to the box, and touched it. The room seemed to mirror the plane and the space around it for a dozen meters. Everything was transparent, except he realized that Laura, Cable and Wade were all emitting some kind of energy. He couldn't tell what kind, but he understood that it was from their time travelling. That this was the cause of some kind of repeated action they had been doing. Cable was by far the most traveled. It was almost certain to Chrys that he had been responsible for many different changes in the wide river of time. He was sure that this man had seen more than he was willing ti share. It made Chrys curious, opening his eyes he asked Cable the questions on his mind.

"What happens to me, in your time. Do I finally master my abilities?"
I'll get a post up in a bit. Thanks to heavy rain and a ton of flooding I was stuck in my uncle's hunting lodge for a day and a half extra... I like rain... that was wayy to much rain.
Chrys exists. It'll take more than an existential crisis to keep him down. I've just been really busy with work this weekend. Had a post ready but lost it. My b.
Chrys headed to his locker, thinking hard. There was doubt in his mind that this group could pull something off, but, they had said things that made him feel uneasy. Heidi made tech capable of time travel? Sure, the girl was brilliant... But it seemed no one noticed the small ripple that had flown out when he said that... Time manipulation wasn't something you messed with. His father had said as much when he was alive...

'Think of time and space as two forces that are always in harmony, mess with one and you can potentially damage the other. But you, Chrys... Your power subverts this. You aren't deleting anything or changing things. You shift them along an axis that already exists...

It gave him a moment of pause. That was his old power. That didn't explain the subspace and stasis field he created now. But he didn't sense the space being affected by his power... So what was he really? Some kind of focal point of spacetime? He'd felt the roaring pain of the space Cable took up, the others had it too, but it paled in comparison. "He must be going through timelines constantly... But why... Why potentially cause damage to something that affects your time... Maybe even cause a paradox..."

He finished getting ready, pulling his weapons out. He thought for a moment then dropped them into the subspace. He headed back to the room, where he felt the ripples coming from Cable seem to be getting stronger. It was slight, but he could feel the change.
Zavid stayed quiet during the trip to the room. When he got in, he took note of the simulated floors and walls, and the bar. After setting his gear down, heheaded over to it and looked through it, staying out of Harriet's way. "I myself prefer something stronger... It takes a lot for my subspecies to get wasted..." He spotted a clear bottle with a bluish purple liquid in it. "Ahh... Serrice Ice Brandy. Thatssome good stuff. Hint of blueberry, blackberry and rasperry, with just enough kick to remind you that its not something to drink casually."

He poured himself a tall glass, pressing a button to detach his helmet. As it comes off, the entire suit retracts, showing him in a leather jacket and dark pants. He placed his helmet next to him as he took a swig, reminiscing of when he first tried this stuff back on Earth with Shinzo, years ago.
Zavid is part of the last cancelled gen-mod human project. He was made that way. It was deemed necessary since Zencrux has three times the gravity.... Shit forgot the bone density modifier... He weighs more than the average human by height too...
