@Epsir I appreciate that, I left the road long enough to accommodate everyone's imagination, but I'm happy to use my creative liberty as well.
@Dark Cloud Is he ready to go?
@Cu Chulainn Accepted!
@Sanity43217 I like where this character is going a lot, and I'm going to PM you later to cover a few things. Unfortunately, I need to sleep now though.
@Metztli This is mostly pretty good. Just a couple things, primarily Arskel is not the kind of place you send your children, but if they had a good reason that's all fine. I get the impression there is a secret involved in your background, if you'd like you can PM me more details about that.

Otherwise its good to me, I'm hesitant with mind-altering magic but Devil's Tongue seems pretty laid back so I can dig it.
As a note to everyone who's submitted a character so far, I like the way you're all expanding upon and running with the nuanced concepts scattered through the OP. It's pretty much precisely what I hoped for, so thanks y'all.
@Psyker Landshark Yup, that's an accepted character alright.
I have a rough idea, but I can break it down more specifically.

AP: Beginning unknown, this age is lost to time.

AS: The exact end has been lost to time, but it's estimated to have gone on for between 1,800-2,400 years.

AD: Thanks to the efforts of an ancient chronomancer, it is the general consensus that Olanthus is in the year 1743 A.D.
@ERode Magitech depending on location. The Age of Splendor saw the creation of all kinds of magic technology, but a lot of that has been lost to time. Some city-states have reclaimed more of that knowledge than others, but it's still a rarity in places like Arskel. One of the most advanced and well known forms are Sky-Skiffs, small ships that can ride along the leylines.

Edit: Magitech falls into the realm of magic items, which are typically policed. People who have or use them without seeking a permit usually don't flaunt it, but you can get that sort of permission with guild membership.
@Dark Cloud Of course. On another note, you can play dwarves as traditionally as you want, but there isn't a large context for some of it in this world considering their origins.
