Esme stood in front of her wardrobe flicking through her clothes absentmindedly with the High School Musical Soundtrack blasting out in the background. She couldn't decide what to wear to the party tonight. She didn't usually fuss so much over what she wore apart from to parties. "Dress to impress," Esme muttered under her breath with a smile. Eventually she selected a black bikini with tiny white sharks printed on it. Pulling it on, Esme posed in front of the mirror for a little while before pulling out a pair of black shorts. "Perfect," she smiled, twirling and pulling on a pair of white sandles to complete the look.

"Esme! I'm home!" her dad shouted as he walked in the door.
"Coming!" Esme shouted, twirling once more before jogging down the stairs. Her dad threw his backpack on the dining room table and turned to her with a smile.
"You're dressed up all nice. Going out tonight?" he asked, pecking her on the cheek as she hugged him.
"Yeah Lexi's having a party tonight for all the guys," she explained, jumping up onto the counter as her dad milled around the kitchen.
"Remember be careful and call if you need a lift home," he stated but this was a usual occurrence, he wasn't bothered about her partying as long as she was safe about it.
"Will do dad," Esme rolled her eyes jokily. She sat on the table plaiting her unruly hair into two long braids. She jumped down and pulled on her leather biker jacket.

Checking her phone she got the text from Lexi.
To: Lexi
From: Esme
On my way now. Is it cool if I stay over?
Esme hugged her dad quickly before sliding out the door and into her little light blue Fiat 500. It would be fine to leave the car at Lexi's if she had to get home after the party. If she stayed then she could drive home in the morning. Esme drove through the streets, still blasting out High School Musical tracks until she pulled up in front of Lexi's house. Jumping out of the car, making sure it was definitely locked, she pounded on Lexi's door.
I'll get a post up this afternoon. Had a really busy day yesterday and am quite hungover at the moment

Esme blushed as everyone complemented her dad's baking. She wished she could bake as well as he could but she was still just learning.
"See you tonight guys!" she shouted, waving at Erin, Jacen and Seamus. She didn't have anywhere to be today so decided to stay a little longer, especially when she spotted Jun wandering down to the group and laughed as he drove on her muffins. If there was one way to Jun's heart it was baked goods! "What took you so long munchkin?" Esme teased, wrapping him in a warm hug while being careful not to squish the remaining two muffins. "Get lost in your closet again?" she added, as she released and playfully elbowed him. "You missed us planning the party? Lexi's gonna have us all over tonight! Beachwear and Black light," Esme continued talking frantically, she was so happy her best friend had in fact been able to make it. She was starting to worry that they were going to have left before he got there. "You better be there!
Aura had been speaking with some of the lowlife hanging around the bars at the Spaceport and it seemed there had been an attack on Ryloth royalty so the guards were on high alert to try and find those responsible. But it couldn't just be a simple assassination attempt; the Alliance wouldn't be getting involved if it was just a coup. The Sith and Jedi must have been in some way involved but as far as she could find out there wasn't a Jedi presence on the planet and the Sith wouldn't do anything so brash. Or would they. This could be the start of the next war ... the the Red Star needed to choose a side.

Aura stepped into a shady diner to get more information and actual food. He attention was first drawn to the Twi'lek in the corner. To normal folk there wouldn't be anything special about her, but Aura knew a soldier a mile away. She was taking everything in around her and calculating in her mind. Aura walked past he taking a closer glance as she walked to the bar. The Twi'lek didn't look any different and didn't seem heavily armed but looks were most certainly deceiving. Aura took a seat at the bar and ordered a meal and beer without really looking at menu. "So annoyed, I've got a delivery to make and the guards have grounded me!" Aura exclaimed, louder than she needed to, to the barkeep. "Seems like they are hunting for a killer or something? Heard any rumours?" she asked the barkeep as he poured her beer.
"Nothing specific but it seems there has been an attack on the royals. All the officials seem real flustered though," the barkeep shrugged.
Just saying, everyone should love Esme, she's adorable!
@Aewin She just wants everyone to be happy and no ones happy :(

"Oh come on if you going to have a party then go all out. Black light and swimwear!" Esme exclaimed as she bounced on the balls of her feet and tucked a stray wave of hair behind her ear. She could sense that the tension was building in the group and her heart broke thinking of what would happen if the group broke up. These guys were her family and she would have no idea what she would do if she had to take sides. She would crumble. For a moment the smile mask slipped but she caught it soon after and the beaming grin returned. A party would be great, alcohol running through their veins and a night of joy. Just what they needed.

"Oh yeah I forgot, dad sent these!" Esme exclaimed, pulling the large Tupperware of muffins out of her bag and tearing the lid off. "I swear he's determined you guys won't eat if he doesn't feed you," Esme continued, her nervousness causing her to keep talking and her body itching to do something to run away from the malice radiating in the air. "But of course you don't have to eat them. I'm sure we'll find a use for them if you don't," she shrugged, subconciously setting herself up for rejection. Her eyes kept flitting down to her foot as she spoke, avoiding eye contact. Esme hated drama. She couldn't cope with people fighting. Whenever this happened she just wanted to curl up in a ball, cry and hide from the world. However she had to be strong for her friends; they needed at least one person to keep the happy mood going or they would be lost in the sadness.
