Hi everyone,
While it's not a requisite to have read The Night Circus, at all, it can help paint the picture a bit clearer in your head while envisioning this idea.
The play will be written out in a mysterious and magical circus, much like in The Night Circus, where a lot of is going on and even more so behind the stage. It will mainly focus on -besides escaping the cirque- the interpersonal connections we make with eachother, characters that are free for all of us to create and use as we see fit, all kinds of adventures and events we are able to write about.
But as said, sooner or later we will all have to try and find a way to escape the circus since none of us are there voluntarily. It may seem we are, even to ourselves, but in due time signs will be noticed and clues will be found by those before us that will trigger the story to snowball in a 'Prison Break'. I will be in charge of narrating important events that will impact all of us or lead us into a 'next chapter' of the story but apart from those kind of events, which won't be impact your own stories unless inevitable, imagination and creativity is key to make this a fun act.
I haven't worked everything out yet by the way, and probably won't. I much prefer improvising most of the story rather than plan everything out ahead... But who would be interested in joining this kind of story?
( I'm hoping for a handful of participants, myself including as a player and -separately- a narrator )
