Current My Italian friend just asked me if it's true that all Americans are fat. I'm offended but I can't stop laughing.

I always respond to OOC tags within 10 minutes, but I respond to PMs within 10 days. I don't know why- I suppose it's just because PMs are so easy to brush aside and forget about

I don't have any finals, but everyone else having finals is slowing down my RPs. Second-hand busyness.

I know it's time to go to bed, because I just started wondering if maybe the whole universe is a single cell on some alien's ass

If a tree falls in the woods and Fox news isn't around to see it, is it still Obama's fault?

I like to write things collaboratively.

And in the end, isn't that all you need to know to RP with me?

What do you mean the only thing between me and the federation?

Wait... when I said "you", I was talking from a Xim perspective- as in, it is the only thing between the Xim and the Federation. I didn't mean to reference MONARCH.

Guh, so weapons are easy enough to replace, I've been replacing positron beams with gamma lasers which are still plenty fun. The railguns don't need much changing, just a little tweaking to power them with good old fashioned electromagnets instead of sophisticated gravitics. Missiles are missiles, don't need any changing.

Power generation can be a matter-antimatter reaction or miniaturized fusion, don't really care, I'll decide on it later.

Where I'm having trouble is the drive technology. My ships all have these giant engines, now what are they...

Any suggestions?

@Hael Or anybody.

Big engines?

Perhaps they just have really inefficient warp drives
so when will the rp begion? because as much as i am loving the trash talking i am quite curious.

xD Check the IC.

It's been marked as coming in "24 hours", from the time I edited that post, which was 20 hours ago.

In other words, it'll start tonight.

But why are you asking? Your sheet isn't finished, and therefore you could not post regardless. Nobody is allowed to post until they're done with the NS.

Surely perfectionists such as The Xim would have an issue with some of their most powerful soldiers having epilepsy on top a maximum lifespan of 12 years.

This is true, and they are trying to fix it, but that doesn't change the fact that Crushers are their first line of defense.

They are imperfect, but they are also the only thing between you and the Federation. That makes them an object of some respect.

However, it is considered a disgrace for a Crusher to die from seizures (as the majority do), and a large part of their military funding is spent trying to fix this flaw.
Something tells me Crusher's get very little respect in Xim society.

They are respected, actually, as one of the most powerful forms of soldier. They just happen to be super-fragile to electricity, but nobody but the Xim knows that, so it hasn't been an issue as of yet

I feel like a creature with explosive DNA wouldn't live very long.

Who said it was naturally explosive? Get some DNA, inject it with explosive liquids, and send it to the Xim wrapped up in a neat little bow.

This... Now this is how you bring the Xim to their knees.

Send vials of explosive DNA.

Xim courtship: Instead of flowers, give vials of Flower DNA xD

The truly romantic gift! Afterall, flowers will fade and die in time, but the DNA can be recreated to make MORE FLOWERS.

@Hael

I think I'll be taking my because of this undoubtedly unwarranted aggression.

Your image is broken, but I went to the link to see what it is.

I liked the post only as a way to show I was listening and OPEN to the idea, but I did not mean to imply that I had yet fully agreed. Messing with other people's history is a big deal in my book- it's the sort of thing that you need a "Yes, I'm okay with that" on, as just politeness. I don't think being upset was unwarranted. I never gave a clear "yes", or "go ahead", for you. I would not have changed your history so easily- pay me the same kindness.

I'm not angry at you, as I've had time to cool off, but it is something that most be fixed. I've realized that you have to act pissed off and aggressive sometimes, otherwise people will just keep arguing and making excuses- I needed to be clear that I wasn't going to bend on this.

EDIT: but if you feel the need to leave over this, so be it. It seems a waste, though.

Something like that.

Also, about the DNA samples, I'll assume the Xim care a bit less if the Memoria Fleet "forgets" some additional criminals there then.

Haha, the Xim would see that as a gift. "Free genetic material? Can we experiment on it? Awww, you shouldn't have!"

Most nations care about metal, weapons, technology... but the Xim just want DNA and living tissue. It's the only commodity they truly deal in.
@Hael I'll be here, love.
