Current I am bad, and that is good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There is no-one I'd rather be, but me.

Heya folks.

I stumbled across the interest check whilst looking around (I just recently returned to the rpg after about a year or two away) and this greatly interests me. Are you still accepting? And if so, will you folks be able to tolerate me making a nuisance of myself as I set up a character and ask questions left-right-and-centre about ideas, what works and what does not, aspects of lore and etc etc?

If you are accepting and would be so kind as to welcome me into your ranks, what kind of character would you like to see/are you lacking in presently. Many thanks.

Hailfire.
Name: Ashley (Ash for short.) Hunter
AKA: Pride (In the context of the deadly sin.)
Sex: Female.
Age: 23
Race: Human.

Faction: Marauder, Criminal.
Role in Team: Cat Burglar/combat engineer.

Personality: Brash and perhaps slightly arrogant, Ashley has a negative attitude to most authority figures imposed by any official group. This being said, once engaged in a task Ashley can be very helpful and she enjoys a good party.

Family/Relationship:
-Dillan Forester is a surrogate father to Ashley after her own died in the Asteroid Mining fields.
-Ashley has a wary attitude towards alien species, having come from a primarily human occupied area of space.
Other:
Am I okay to add some lore? I have a 'race' from my characters backstory that I feel would fit well into "The Enemy" section of the initial article, but again I do not want to be presumptious in posting content up here.
@Jones Sparrow Thanks Jones. It'll be useful for helping me scale the events in my character's bio.
What is the date in character?
Sooo... I wanted to work out who my character was and why she was a Marauder... I kinda got carried away with vizualising. I hope you enjoy the results.

@Hawlin

I think hacker is covered with this character if they are still active. http://www.roleplayerguild.com/posts/3895952

@Ollumhammersong

Nah. I'll leave drones to you seeing as your character seems a little dependent on them. It would improve the teams information awarness if you can send one into the next room, perhaps even attach some kind of enemy impairment device (e.g a re-useable flashbang) to disable them before the strike team hits.
@TheHumbleMagnificent That is a really cool concept.
Okay. Well for now I will take a look through the existing character sheets and see if I can spot any holes in the crew capabilities that need filling. As I said from the outset I don't want to step on any toes and I quite enjoy having my own unique role to fill, thereby making my character essential and useful in some capacity.

Perhaps a zero gravity boarding specialist to work alongside our hacker/intelligence operative and combat units?
*lands on enemy ship via carefully performed zero-g jump. Plants breeching charges... BOOM... In goes the raiding party to shoot up the now air compromised ship.*

^Nevermind my uneducated fantasies. I'll read through and see what there is, then make a character sheet up once I have educated myself.
@Akayaofthemoon

Thank you for a very swift reply. My preference is usually for technologically inclined characters who are combat-capable, albeit have to approach combat creatively to reach an effectiveness on par with or above that of an average soldier character. To this end I am used to and very much enjoy playing pilot/combat-engineer characters. This being said, outside input into what character I should play is welcomed as it presents an intriguing challenge and forces me to consider the lore surrounding the character as I go.
