When you become an adult, people stop asking which dinosaur is your favourite. It's like they don't even care anymore.

Raito is a medic (sort of), isn't he?
Quick-end.

Here's the thing. We're moving a dude out of our apartment this weekend, so right now we've got boxes and stuff everywhere. We're trying to organise cars and people and... Chaos. I've posted, it wasn't all I wanted, but I think you'll get the point. Keanto is in charge of the next part of the exam anyway, so my semi-absence these days won't hurt the game.
Ayane noticed the broken Nataniel lying on the cold hard ground. He’d come back to life and despite all the pain he was surely in he managed to ask the newcomer for proof. She wanted proof as well, the situation was unbearable. Their teammate was being attacked and no one made a move to help her. At the same time the attacker tried to convince them that he was the real member of their team and everyone was waiting for proof. It didn’t bode well for future missions together. As they were standing around talking about it the strangers whole team could be sneaking into backstab position. She had to admire the man’s balls though, being the bait in a trap like that could go really bad, really fast.

Letting go of her chakra threads, Ayane dashed over to Nathaniel and stopped watching the stranger for a moment. Risky, but she had to trust the team on this one. After all, the Kiri swordsman sounded like he was on the edge of attacking himself, so he wouldn’t allow the stranger to blink in a strange way without doing something about it.
Ayane grabbed Nathaniel’s chest and lifted him up only far enough to curl her arm around him, then she sat down on her knees, ready to jump away at any sign of trouble. She let him sink down against her chest and shoulder. even though she wasn’t entirely comfortable with the closeness, it felt better than letting him rest on the ground. At least he wouldn’t drown in his own blood like this.
“Stop stalling! Give us the proof, if you have any or leave us alone!”
I will not drop this until the GM does.

Not gonna happen any time soon. I'm usually the last to leave.

I am, however, gonna have to push this another day. I have to get un in about six hours and give the furmonster a walk... Sleep is friend. Hopefully I can get the rest of my post done early morning before the others wake up and I have to de productive stuff.
And solution.
Keep Tsubasa around, he has a part to play later, might as well keep a known character like that around. Adapt Haruka if you want to use her. If not we'll be in the forest for a while, knowing your speed you should have time to create a (semi)new character.
Bleach rps are a bitch.
Personally I can't agree to what blackbeard says, but regrettably I must admit that he seems to voice the general opinion of bleach-players.
Frankly I enjoy smaller groups, it gives the characters a better chance to interact with everyone and you can build better relationships. Also, the story is easier to follow because there isn't 20 posts of useless shit about a group in the other end of the world between the posts about you/your group.

However, many players seem to love the large/huge groups, so there must be something about it that works. For one, the drop of a player gets hardly noticable while it may end a game with few players.

With that said, I must also criticise the way Blackbeard thinks. Throwing the game away because of group size and presence of fringe "races". It's what I like to call conservative gaming and it is the reason why some genres stay the way they are, and others doesn't stand a chance. The pure thought that "It should be like it was the last time I played because that's the way it's done".

In my mind rping is about discovering new things, putting yourself into situations where you yourself could never be and do stuff that you could never do.
If you only join and play games that are exactly what you like every time you'll end up stuck. Suddenly everything is predictable and homogeneous. Playing games that take you out of your comfort zone every now and then is a great way to keep your mind and preferences opend and loose. Sometimes an unfamiliar setting can be the most fun, because you can't fall back on "solution #57", everything must be done from scratch.

And to give the GM something to think about. While you had the world pretty much set in the op, you didn't give players much to base their first posts on, which is a huge turnoff for many players. Personally I try to set a situation which the players can react to and base their first post on. Pulling a post out of almost nothing can be very hard and may take quite some time. Not something you want right at the beginning of your game.

Those are my two cents... I'm still around if people want to play.
So, yeah...

As you might've figured out I'm full of shit. I make promises about posting because I've fooled myself into thinking that it motivates me to write, but then it doesn't... I suck that way...

So anyway, I'll do what I can to post today, because I won't have time during the weekend. As I said the post is almost done, so it shouldn't take that long to finish.

Also it seems like we've lost Shadowcatcher as well... I don't really know what to about that, I always thought that we'd at least get through the forest of death before people started to drop, but I guess the joke's on me.
I'll have a talk with my lesser GMs and see if we can come up with something.
Shadowcatcher hasn't replied here in a while and I have sent PMs to get her attention but so far nothing. Consider her character an NPC for now.
Got distracted by a big assignment yesterday, post is almost done and will be up today.
Great. I'm working on a post as well.
Personally I'm just hanging around, waiting for anything at all to happen.

The big problem I can spot with Bleach as an rp is that at some point (when the characters get strong enough) the game will inevitably change its nature.
low-level shinigami and spiritual humans, many quincy and bount as far as I'm aware mostly battle against each other or hollow. The hollow can have interesting powers and abilitites, memories of their former selves and look any way you can imagine. Once strength x is reached, vizards and higher hollow/arrancar appear. These new enemies look human, is powerful enough to fight 1v1 and may or may not have memories.

As you can see, the two modes are very different and attracts different players, of course some may not like to play when the change happens or strongly prefers one or the other.

Anyway, I'm still around.
