It was your proverbial small town. Everybody knew everyone, and what they didn't know about each other - they simply made up. They were inseperable. Best buddies before they could even walk. Fast forward to High School, and the hormones weren't kind. Still, neither party wanted to destroy their friendship, so the underlying feelings were left just that. Hidden away. Phew, they'd dodged the bullet. Saved their relationship through denial. What could possibly go wrong? Well, plenty, actually.
So, there we have it! Two teen best buds destroy their relationship through inaction. They drag each other through the hormonal shit storm of watching boyfriends and girlfriends come and go. All whilst maintaining the friendzone that they were so protective of. Ironic, huh?
Fast forward ten years, and what do ya know? Our estranged pair stumble across one another again. This time, there is no friendzone, and we get to play around with their relationship as it develops.
I'm looking to play the female friend. She'll be a Doctor, working in the ER in the suburbs of the City that she now calls home. I'm looking for a male character, and his story is entirely your call. All I ask, is no angst just for the sake of it. Now don't get me wrong - I love drama. Could lap that stuff up all day long. But, I don't love playing with characters that have experienced the worst luck imaginable, and whose creators throw in needless obstacles at every given opportunity. It's just tiresome. Apart from that, I'm hugely relaxed and easy to get along with.

Hi,
I would love to find a new partner or two. It would be so much easier if I could just wave a magic wand and find my inbox full to the brim, but sadly I'll have to go for the tried and tested interest check route. So to start things off, I'm not a task master and I'm going to steer clear of a list outlining my preferences and irritations. All I'd really like is a partner that can reply once a day, has a good grasp on grammar and spelling, and likes to chat OOC. No one liners please. Simple really, huh?
As far as level goes, I'm looking for high casual to advanced. I love in depth character development and plotting, but that said I don't need to know what your character had for breakfast six days ago. Detail where detail is needed, that's my motto. I'm crazily relaxed about pretty much everything, so feel free to throw idea's at me as we move through the story. In fact, I'll love you for it.
Mature themes are all good. All I ask is that we keep it classy. If you want to fade to black, that's fine by me. Violence, gore, drugs..no problem with it. However I will not get involved in anything abusive, story-lines that involve being too friendly with animals, or anything erring on the slightly perverted side. I'm not judging, this is just about my own comfort levels.
My taste is really diverse when it comes down to genre. At the moment I'm craving something Titanic related - not as in the movie. I love modern, medieval and futuristic. The 1920's and 1500's are two of my favourite time periods, and I do ship a good Mafia plot.
On a final note I'm going to write a few pairings below, but feel free to throw your own ideas at me. I really am very easy to get along with!

1920's (Think large estates, pots of dosh, fast cars and swanky parties! Throw in two rebellious heirs and you have a recipe for much adventure!)
