And back I am. Exhausted, certainly, and may need a while for that to wear off, but I'm once more here to read and even write!

Should have been writing posts. Took part in D&D shenaniganry instead. Got to fix that tomorrow.

There's a lot of backlog here on my end. I'm trying my best to lessen it, but replies might be less frequent for a time. A welcome change from the nothing doing I went through though! Thanks partners!

Bio

I suppose it is about time for me to copypaste fill in some information about myself over here just as well. Only took me a few years to getting around to do it.

I am a married individual in my twenties from the country some people dare claim does not exist. The Finland conspiracy is an old joke, you can stop with it now. Not a native speaker of the English language by any means, though I did begin studying it exceptionally early for our country's standards. I suppose it was some sort of a test case. With that out of the way though, what more should I be saying here...
  • I like being nice to people. If one needs to ask why, well that alone is reason enough.
  • I play and Dungeon Master Dungeons and Dragons, both offline and in the past also over here.
  • I enjoy OOC chatter, be it planning the RP or a more casual exchange (not that RP'ing is that serious). I can make do without, but don't be afraid to talk to me.
  • Whatever the case, I'm here to have fun and hone my writing abilities!
I do think that should about cover it, yes.

Thanks for stopping by I suppose! I do also have a Discord account, but I prefer to start anything RP related on the site. At least with people I don't know from the past, that is! But hey, now if you are a longer time contact of mine and happened to read this, now you know and can ask!

-is there a lantern anywhere near the back of the slave tent? Something that could be knocked over from afar, in an "accident", whilst say from somewhere hidden? Or perhaps picked up and thrown from a distance?

I am reasoning that will certainly cause a disturbance and if an alarm is raised, I imagine the focus will be on that side of the camp, putting out the fires, and accounting for prisoners. By the time all of that is settled, we should be long gone into the wilderness in the dead of night.

There are torches all around the camp, given they are their main source of illumination. The occasional lantern can be seen in the more "prestigious" parts of it, but a torch might serve this purpose better in any case.

Last time Judgement checked, there were two guards at the front of the slave tent. Krets was never taking up that duty, instead hanging off to the side providing... whatever it was he was doing.
@Norschtalen
By the wording "you speak a word of command to a creature you can see" I would suppose they need to hear it. To sneak close enough would take a Stealth check, but I would like to remind all of you that the tent of the slaves has been guarded by multiple people whenever inhabited.
Despite his disapproval of the imminent rescue, Leosin did not make the process of him being cut free any more difficult by struggling against the bonds. In fact, he did not put up any resistance beyond words. "I still have so much to learn... so close to a breakthrough... just a little bit more..." he implored, but the requests fell to deaf ears. The heroes of Greenest were set on taking the reluctant monk out of here, whether he himself approved of it or not. And with just how many bruises dotted the man's body and how malnourished his appearance was, it was probably for the better too.

The cloak liberated from acolyte Davis found itself on the monk's shoulders while its former owner was rigged against the pole in place of the withered monk. With unsteady step, Leosin hobbled away in the company of his saviours, now simply refusing to speak of his time here or what he had planned originally, only telling the people that the time for that would come. Were he to walk on his own, he would routinely fall a few more paces behind every other moment, but still keep on moving. A helping hand would allow the man to keep up, but indeed cost the provider some of their mobility in turn.

For now, no alarms had been raised, not as far as anyone could tell. This included Brannor who had headed back, only to find Krets no longer where he had stood not too long ago. Only a faint whiff of the tangy yet sweet aroma he surrounded himself with remained, but the presence of the remaining guard was still very much reality. It would be up to him to make the decision as to whether he would risk it. The others would not be far behind, if he had to fathom a guess. Everyone knew they would have to act quick, now that they had performed the exchange.

I should have an opportunity to post for Leosin tomorrow.
If that is so, @Lady Selune, we would be waiting for @Sofaking Fancy and @Mortarion.
You heard the monk. It appears that despite everything, he isn't too happy about the rescue attempt. What do?

@Hekazu, as a rat, can Torus tell that the monk is unconscious?

He is able to tell that the man is conscious, as evidenced by him moving occasionally.
@Norschtalen@Lucius Cypher@Ryonara

It seems Torus and Brannor were able to make it to Leosin. With that, the Druid has also been able to guide you there at a point when a guard is unlikely to be present. Feel free to rendezvous.
